I agree with you guys, especially with the economic situation this time. Finding a job that pays the bills and stimulates the mind at the same time.
Finding a job and having a hobby in the side to milk one's creative juices is great.
In my field, there are individuals who are great physicians and do what is expected of them, and more. But when they hang their white coats in the closet and come home, they have hobbies that relieves their stress and/or stimulate their secondary interests.
I know surgeons who are artists, poets, gardners and outdoors advocates in the side.
Just an example lang.
