Problem of Jobs and Skills Mismatch Among Pinoys
« on: February 23, 2011, 03:06:10 PM »
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has launched the National Skills Registry System (NSRS) to solve the nagging problem of jobs and skills mismatch.

DOLE Regional Director Henry John Jalbuena said NSRS is one of the labor reforms being pushed by President Benigno Aquino III as a solution to labor mismatch and to facilitate employment of qualified workers.

“The NSRS will serve as live register of skills and businesses available in a particular area, an avenue where jobseekers and prospective employers can mutually advertise their qualifications as well as manpower requirements,” he said.

Piloted in the City of San Fernando, NSRS allows workers to register in their respective barangays starting March 1, shortly after a consultation-briefing was conducted by DOLE for all Punong Barangays and Focal Persons in 43 of the city's 59 barangays.

On the other hand, the punong barangays in 16 remaining barangays were scheduled to attend the next round of consultation-briefing.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
