The first and only time I met Jimmy was in a recording studio where he was recording a jingle for Fastpak, a courier service company. He was, at that time, a sought-after jingle maker in cebu. Later, I saw one edition of the Manila Metro Pop where a song of his (Ang Iibigin ay Ikaw) was a finalist. I think, the song introduced Lani MIsalucha to the mainstream music industry. It was also used as theme song of a GMA teleserye of the same title. It has remained my favorite among his compositions. Correct me Jimmy if I'm wrong: Is it true that the song was first entered in the Cebu Pop with Binisaya lyrics?
