Sam Malaki is a superior tenor based in LA. He recently came home to the Philippines to perform in several concerts- at the CCP and other parts of the country. His brother Efrem, a singer, talent manager, and a producer of records and concerts, are raised in Leyte. Their roots come from Anda, Bohol. Their mother is an Amper. Salmineo Malaki graduated high school valedictorian at College of Maasin (Southern Leyte) in March 1976.  He was a member of the Philippine Madrigal Singers. I know, because his salutatorian used to be my very special friend, he he. She is now a specialist in pesticide biochemistry.
