Bol-anon Congressman Receives Tourism Excellence Award

First District Congressman and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Tourism Edgar M. Chatto was awarded the NAITAS Tourism Excellence Award 2008 by the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies Philippines, Inc. The prestigious award was presented to him at 6:30 pm last January 31, 2008 at the posh Dusit Thani Hotel’s Grand Ballroom during the First General Membership and Business Meeting of NAITAS, with 17 chapters nationwide in full attendance.

NAITA’s also presented same award to Cong. Monico Puentevilla; SBMA Administrator, Armand Arreza; Asiana Airlines Regional Manager, Teo Yup Kim; Central Luzon Tourism Council President, Lydia Co; and PCVC Deputy Executive Director, Rosve Gaetos. - www.theboholstandard.com

Rep. Edgar Chatto deserved for such recognition.  He is one of the few who is instrumental in transforming Bohol into what it is now and for supporting tourism projects outside Bohol being the Chairman on the Comm. on Tourism.

An award for Congressman Chatto is an award for Bohol! 

OT:  Isn't he the one who helped that British-American guy who died and was kept hostaged in the funeral home due to the payables?

If he is Grace, I wouldn't be surprise. Congressman Chatto has a generous heart gyud na sya. Like when my mother was so ill right out from KSA, he donated money cash handed to me gyud, I think it was one of his OFW program man guro to niya. It was a huge help gyud.
