'te, the Raptor is capable of making sharp 90 degree as well as 360 degree turns in a a fraction of a second.

The Raptor is armed with:

AIM-9
The F-22's side weapons bays (one on each side) will initially hold one Aim 9 Sidewinder missile. The Sidewinder is a heat seeking IR guided missile effective at short range. In the future however, the Aim-9x IR guided missile will be introduced which will have small tail surfaces unlike previous versions. Most likely, the F-22 will be capable of carrying two Aim-9x's per side. The Aim 9 Sidewinder will be extended on a trapeze mounted launcher before the launch. This is to allow the Aim 9's IR seeker to effectively acquire the target or "sniff" it.

 M61A2 cannon
The F-22 will come equipped with an internal cannon. Lockheed Martin will install a M61A2 cannon, which is an improved version of the original M61. A new feature includes longer, composite-wound bullets. The M61A2 will be mounted just above the right wing root. To preserve the F-22's stealthy characteristics, an inward opening door will cover the muzzle until the weapon is fired.  It is capable of firing 100 rounds per second, carrying 480 rounds in all.

JDAM
In 1994, the USAF asked Lockheed Martin to develop an air to surface capability for the F-22. Provisions were later made to the lower weapons bays to accommodate one 1,000 pound GBU-30/32 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) per side. A simple GPS (Global Positioning System)/inertial system will guide the weapon to its target. Eventually later versions will have increased precision attack capability by including a programmable radar seeker. The F-22's air-to-surface operations will be carried out courtesy of its onboard synthetic aperture radar (SAR) modes.
In addition to the F-22's internal weapons bays, it will also be capable of carrying stores externally. Four underwing stations will be able to support up to 5,000 pounds. Underwing stores will be fitted to the F-22 when stealth is not critical. External drop tanks up to 600 US gallons can also be fitted onto the stations. This will increase the F-22's endurance and range significantly.

The F/A-22 Raptor is the only Air Superiority Fighter in the world, the F/A-22 was last tested against a multitude of fighters, it went on 'mock' dog fight against a squadron of Sukhoi-Mig 33 (the Russian version  of a super fighter), Sukhoi 27, Mig-21, and all of those fighters were taken down, none of them were even able to track the Raptor. The Raptor won despite a ratio of 1 vs 12 fighters

The F/A-22 Raptor then engaged American fighters in mock air combat; going against a squadron of the feared F/A-18 Super Hornet, F-16, and the F-15. One Raptor went against 2 F-18s, 2 F-15s and 4 F-16s; the Raptor tactically targeted all 8 fighters and took them down even before those fighters could even lock on to the Raptor.

This Baby can surge at 2.3+ times the speed of Sound (Mach 2+)
And can super cruise at Mach 1.72

All of these so called '3rd generation fighters' could not even target or locate the Raptor, which can outrun, outfly, outmaneuver, outfire every one of them. US Defense claims that a squadron of F/A-22 Raptors can take out the entire Russian Air Force (which has the 3rd largest air force in the world).

These planes were all 'shot down' by the Raptor in Combat:

Sukhoi Mig-33 (The Cream of the Russian Air Force; their primary offensive fighter)

Sukhoi 27, Medium defensive/offensive air fighter (popular in the Russian, Chinese, and Middle East, Eastern Europe)

Mig-21, cheap, affordable, primary defensive attack fighter, popular in poorer nations

The F/A-18 Super Hornet, Popular Offensive Fighter of the United States Navy, Air Force
(carrier-based fighter)

F-15 Air Superiority Fighter, the predecessor of the Raptor
(for 2 decades this fighter has guarded American Airspace in the US and its territories abroad, and has not once been defeated by an enemy plane)

F-16, popular tactical interceptor.
