The Keris (Kris) Sword is one of the most beautiful swords in the world, with its groovings sharpened to the teeth. The form of the Keris resembles the story of the Naga (7 headed God-Snake in old Hindu folklore) . Its shape and size made it ideal for the people of the Malay archipelago (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei). This is the sword that is associated with the Maranao, Tausug in Muslim Mindanao.
This is a beautiful sword. A strike from this can easily disembowel a man.
