The Tagbilaran City Councilor, whom I am very good friends with, told me in a conversation about the past elections and about the growth of the province, in regards to Valencia, he said, "Valencia's Arms are felt throughout Bohol, Dong Bran!"
I am reminded of this in that Valencia's Hospital Owners also own and run other municipality's hospitals in the province, let alone our domination of the Limestone in Garcia Hernadez. lol. It is ironic that the Garcia-nons do not run the management of their town's limestone quarry. But then again, are we surprised by Valencianon's domination? It is known of the over-competitiveness of the Valencianon.
A man from Tagbilaran, a city official, described the Valencianon as, 'Dili pa Lupig!'
I see truth in that generalization tho. It is our strength that makes our people strive to better themselves, and our town to grow.
The Vice-Governor of Bohol Province is Valencianon. Dra. Concepcion Lim. The First female Vice Governor, and the First Medical Doctor to sit on the office of Provincial Vice-Governorship. The First Valencianon and I'm sure not the last.
