A Crime After A Birthday Party

VALENCIA, Bohol: Rito Cagadas, farmer of barangay Banderahan, this town was declared dead on arrival at Leona O. Lim Hospital after sustaining hack wounds.

Police said a 21-inch scythe (lagaraw) was used on Cagadas at the height of an altercation.

Investigation revealed that the victim was with the suspect, Leonardo Magallon attending a birthday party at the residence of Kagawad Lourdes Sallintes last Thursday. The incident happened while the two were on their way home.

Manhunt has been conducted by the Valencia PNP as the suspect fled after the incident. As of press time, suspect is at large.
