Tubigon, Bohol.
One was in the Plaza area on May 14 where the victim, identified as Roldan Telmoro, single and resident of barangay Centro, was stabbed by a certain Daniel Beltran, 25, single, resident of Sitio Ingod of the same barangay, using a jungle knife, locally known as Batangas.
The suspect allegedly hit the victim at the right side of his body that night.
The victim was immediately brought to the Tubigon Community Hospital and was later transferred to a hospital in Tagbilaran for further treatment.
According to spot report, police arrested the suspect after a hot pursuit and confiscated a batangas knife with blood strain.
The suspect is now in the custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP), waiting for appropriate criminal charges.
In another stabbing incident, a certain Noel Omus, of legal age, resident of Pooc Oriental, this town, was allegedly stabbed on his left breast by an unidentified suspect on the same night.
He was immediately brought to Tubigon Community Hospital and was later transferred to a hospital in Tagbilaran for further treatment.
Presently, the Tubigon Police made a pursuit for the unidentified suspect and if ever arrested, the police will file appropriate charges against him.
Meanwhile, an illegal possession of firearm and ammunition of certain Emillio Leria, single, 43 years old and a resident of barangay Potohan, this town, was charged by the police for violation of R.A 8294.
The Potohan barangay captain and ABC president Rosauro Yosoya, himself, arrested the suspect for allegedly firing indiscriminately his unlicensed firearm after a drinking spree with friends in the barangay.
