Jeddah Tower is World's Tallest
« on: January 14, 2024, 07:08:51 AM »
Under construction in Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Tower, also known as Kingdom Tower, is on track to surpass the Burj Khalifa as the world's tallest building, with an anticipated height exceeding 1,000 meters.

In 2010, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai set unprecedented records, soaring to a height of 828 meters and claiming the title of the world's tallest building.

Guinness World Records acknowledges that the Jeddah Tower, projected to exceed 1,000 meters (1 km; 3,281 ft), has the potential to redefine the global skyline upon completion.

Developed by the Jeddah Economic Company, this towering structure is conceived as a comprehensive complex, featuring luxury residences, office spaces, serviced apartments, and high-end condominiums. Notably, it is set to house the "world's highest observatory," adding to its list of groundbreaking features.

Although the University of Tokyo Atacama Observatory currently holds a different altitude record, the Jeddah Tower's ambitious design and estimated $1.23 billion cost position it as a formidable contender to surpass the Burj Khalifa.

Located in north Jeddah as part of a massive $20 billion mega-project, construction on this architectural masterpiece resumed in 2023 after a five-year hiatus. The uncertainty surrounding its completion date heightens anticipation, as its proposed size and amenities present a significant challenge to the Burj Khalifa's record reign.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
