Among the yearly goals for Hemet USD, is to achieve and maintain a 96% Attendance Rate district-wide. The District implemented TDPS as part of a full strategy that responds to last year’s 1-2% drop in Absenteeism, but an increase in Chronic Absenteeism of 17%.

Using Truancy Intelligence within RaaWee K12 TDPS the District gets the critical data analytics and reporting for School Administrators that allows in-depth understanding of how intervention resources are applied and utilized at district and school site levels providing instant visibility into Truancy patterns - based on gender, ethnicity, age, grade, school level, site - and comparable levels of success. This visibility results in timely and informed outreach using the TDM.

The Truancy Documentation Manager ensures all information and notifications regarding a truant child flows seamlessly between School and Parent and engages a process that encourages students and parents to avoid further actions but automates and streamlines it should it become necessary. Massey notes, “Partial information, documents housed at different sites and forms en-route from one intervention stakeholder to another are all avoided with this easy to use, but sophisticated management system.”
