Tips in going to Lake Winnipesaukee
« on: December 03, 2019, 10:18:00 AM »
Of the literally hundreds of lakes occupying the state’s central corridor, the biggest by far is Lake Winnipesaukee, which forms the centre of the holiday-oriented Lakes Region. Long segments of its three-hundred-mile shoreline, especially in the east, consist of thick forests sweeping down to waters dotted with little islands, which are disturbed only by pleasure craft. The most sophisticated of the towns along the shoreline is Wolfeboro; the most fun has to be Weirs Beach.
Ideally, you would bring your own small boat here and get thoroughly lost in the maze of small channels and islets. Failing that, the cruise ship M/S Mount Washington, a 230ft monster of a boat, departs from the dock in the centre of Weirs Beach several times a day to sail to Wolfeboro, on the western side of the lake (mid-May to Oct; from $25; T603/366-5531 or 1-888/843-6686, Wwww
.cruisenh.com). The ship also sets sail for dinner and dance cruises several times per week (from $43). The same company offers cruises from Weirs Beach on the smaller M/V Doris E (late June to early Sept daily; $15) and the US mailboat, M/V Sophie C (mid-June to mid-Sept Mon–Sat; $22), from which you can view some of the lake’s many islands as the boat delivers the mail. - source: Rough Guides

Romans 10:9-10
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
