My Family is planning to visit Bohol this coming Dec. 5-7 ,2009. There are 15 of us . What is the best and affordable place that you can recommend us. Any person or travel agency that we contact for a package tour that includes Hotel accomodation, tours and van rentals. As much as possible we wanted the place to stay that is near the beach.

The beach is always a nice place to stay at, but in Bohol Saturday night you can usually find a disco place to enjoy at.

Any other night would be a family rest night as it is not a Polynesian type place where you have fire dances and hula dances in hula skirts and drink chi chi's out of a coconut shell with colored umbrella's sticking out the top.

I can think of Alona kew and a couple other resorts hiring drivers for you but not they're own service.

the other thing to keep in mind is that insurance is not so good here so pick a driver who can show proof of insurance.

Some places you can even rent a motorbike.

Alona is fun because people from all over the world part there.
