John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

If you use computer just for checking e-mails or Word. Stay with XP. Be practical.

Windows 7 is WAY better. Just make sure that all of your programs, softwares and drivers are compatible with it. It might be too old for the new drivers of 7.

i wonder which one is faster winXP or win7 on a Pentium2 PC... ok let's make it Pentium4?  ;D

need to consider other things like, what kind of hardware, what purpose, security, application installed and other things... maybe for a "short term" kind of solution i'd go for winXP (no patch needed, old applications, for office documents only) but if you plan to support new applications, want to be secured then go for win7 as most of the apps are develop and tested for this and micro$oft doesn't support winXP anymore. *sigh* too bad for my old lappy.

just my 2 cents worth of ideas...  ;)
