Google Classroom integration eliminates manual double data entry and eases teachers’ workload.

HAMPDEN, MASS. (PRWEB) APRIL 09, 2020
Rediker Software is proud to announce the integration of its TeacherPlus Gradebook with Google Classroom. The integration now allows teachers to connect their TeacherPlus Gradebook to their Google Classrooms, eliminating the need for manual double data entry and allowing more time for teaching, communication and collaboration.
Teachers can also link Gradebook columns with Google Classwork assignments and retrieve scores from completed assignments. Additionally, the TeacherPlus Gradebook columns linked to Google Classroom classwork can be listed as coursework in the students' PlusPortal pages. This creates a more seamless online learning experience for students and teachers.
Rediker customer Mark Botelho recently reported that his school, the International School of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, Africa, finds the integration the perfect solution for the TeacherPlus Gradebook and Google Classroom usage. “What we found is that TeacherPlus can, with little effort, make the necessary connection to Google Classroom. There is no need to use CSV files, nor any kind of third-party connector in order to get up and running.
“With a couple of clicks you have access to all your Google and TeacherPlus classrooms and lessons contained within,” he added. “The sync is seamless and the process of syncing grades is a simple click within TeacherPlus.”
Rediker President Andrew Anderlonis is extremely excited to have this partnership with Google. “Integrating Rediker’s gradebook with Google Classroom was a big need we saw due to the increased use of Google Classroom in schools and the increased usage of online learning tools,” he said. “This fantastic new integration helps teachers with technology by eliminating manual data entry and easing their workload in their already very busy days with students.”
About Google Classroom
Classroom is a free web service, developed by Google for schools, that aims to simplify creating, distributing and grading assignments in a paperless way. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. No matter what subject is taught, Google Classroom is a great tool for sharing information with students, collecting their work, and providing feedback. All teacher assignments and student work are put in one place. And just like the gradebook, with Classroom, teachers and students can sign in from any computer or mobile device.
