How can you retrieve instant messages from yahoo messenger from a different computer?

I don't think you can...unless you are using your own pc where the messages are being saved. IMO

you can make some YM message sniffers (same network), pero mahitabo na during sa conversation sa duha ka party. pero if you say nga nahuman na ang conversation then wa gi-save ang conversation so wa na ta mahimo anaa.

i think (not sure) naa option sa YM nga pwde nimo ma-log ang imong mga conversation.

chatter gyud si lumine dah! heheh sweto man kaayo sa YM, basta mura nakabantay man gud ko ana nga option sauna. hehe

pidgin naman gud gamit nako karon kay maka-integrate ug Gtalk, ymessenger, aim,qq ug uban pa...

yes, pero ma retrieve lang nimo ang logged/saved messages sa imong own pc..pero ug adto ka sa uban pc mag open sa imong ym, dili nimo mabasa ang logged messages. (based pud ni sa ako experience)

Barbs, same procedure as suggested by Lumine. If you turn on your archive option in YM, all your chat sessions will be stored in YM whichever computer you use.

But this is not retroactive. So, unarchived chat history is forever lost (client side), but not in the data center of Yahoo in Sunnyvale, California (server side). :)

another option sad, para sa mga users nga naa sa office nga bawal mag-install ug mga ymessenger or gtalk, msn... try to check meebo, online ni sya nga chat client, nothing to install.
