At Milipol Paris 2019, FortifyIQ, one of the top three finalists of the Milipol Innovation Awards in “Cybersecurity” and “Smart and Safe Cities” categories, will demonstrate the world’s first comprehensive solution suite enabling chip and OEM manufacturers to protect existing and future electronic products against side-channel attacks—namely Differential Power Analysis (DPA), Simple Power Analysis (SPA), Electromagnetic Emissions (EME), and Fault Injection (FI).
Side-channel attacks consist of collection and analysis of power consumption or electromagnetic emission of the device’s secure element with the objective to acquire cryptographic keys or other sensitive data processed by the device. The ultimate goal of the attack is to take control of this type of the device and all devices made with the same SoCs that share the same global security key.
