I wish i could have a little farm here sa likod...

i had vegetable garden this summer pero gamay ra kaayo...

i had few grapevines and had grapes the tiny ones...

but the birds already ate the fruits before its time for harvest......

same as my cherry...birds will eat first before my kids...
Try making ms da binsi,it's a very good challenge,and it's wonderful eating fruits and veggies from our farm or garden.

This is our place in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, a sea side city. Before, this place was a dessert. But now that is the only diminishing thing. Everything here is man-made.

This place is called the Corniche, a people’s part. But where are the people? Just like RV’s photos, you can barely see any person.

I am looking forward to share with you the recently built New Corniche and the desalination plant where we convert salt water into freshwater. 100% man-made. Even folliage here is genetically engineered drought resistant. Here, it rains only twice a year.

People in Saudi Arabia are sucker for soccer football. It was their national league championship when I took the photos last week. People were glued to their TV sets and the streets literally deserted. An opportunity I've long waited to shoot a seemingly uninhabited place.

Don’t ask me what happened next after the match ended. I hurried back home, anticipating a flood of noisy cars & flag waving youths in the streets (fans of the winning team).

Probably by first week of December, migratory wintering birds from Europe will flock our place. Our place is a migratory path for Cranes, pink flamingos, wild ducks, geese, small blue/greenish ducks, seagulls and variety of mallard family. It seems they selected our place as stop-over because nobody harms them.

The place is shown below just in front of where I live.

Can u take pictures of the migratory birds esp. the pink flamingo. i'd love to see them.

I guess they are the most graceful amongst birds, the way they walk with their skinny long legs seems like supermodels on the runway. Also the way they flapped their wings has captivated the spanish as depicted in thier famous dance the 'Flamingo'.

I was driving to office when I noticed a pinkish white flock in the water. Immediately I rushed to the scene and carefully positioned myself to the best angle.

Can’t imagine how I crawled, moving in slow motion, as not to scare these magnificent birds. This is the closest I could get. Shhhh! hold your breath, do not make a sudden move, hold your otot.

Thanks for the wow..I also said that myself as I look at them..No hunting in here..these birds came from a long journey,..they made a flight for a restaurant in here once a year..and they will fly back to where they go on spring time..I don't know why they love to stay here during cold days..People here are very good and animal loving,infact they will go to the lake almost everyday to feed the birds.Kung sa ato pa ni,hurot na if ang gobyerno nili makialam or kung walay mag guard..pero dire hunungan pa ug sakyanan kung muagi sa dalan kay nag amping nga dili maligsan..I think by this spring time they will go to Seberia..
