The War Between Ingking and Evangelista

The National Police Commission has not yet issued official statement if they are still to endorse to the Office of the President the case filed by Bohol Police Provincial Director Edgardo Ingking against a colleague, the former provincial director here and now chief of the Regional Investigation, Detective Management Division Arturo Evangelista.

The conflict between the two high-ranking police officials of the police regional office-7 was reported finally settled when a colleague mediated for their reconciliation.

Deputy regional director for administration Sr. Supt Federico Terte reportedly called the two in his office and they have patched things up.

The conflict against the two police officials started after Inking filed grave misconduct and dishonesty complaints against Evangelista before the Napolcom.

Evangelista allegedly submitted to former PRO-7 director Silverio Alarcio Jr. a report that damaged the good image of the BPPO and has demoralized its members.

Ingking claimed that Evangelista pointed out six lapses concerning the operation leading to the arrest of the notorious Casimero Garcia robbery group based only on newspaper reports.

Evangelista also allegedly lied when he claimed that he created the Bohol Tourist Police when, actually it was launched in 2001 during the term of former BBPO director Sr. Supt. Sancho Bernales.

According to local police members who happen to be friends of mine they have complained n the past with Inking he is gutom-Gutom and when Evangelista received funds that were extra he would share it with the other PNP members as an incentive where as to Inking does not?
This is why we now have some not so happy attitudes with in the police forces now a days here.
Even if the incentive was in a simple form of a Lechon baboy but the Boys would always have something to look forward too after going the extra mile for the province in over time.
It's nice to be rewarded for going the extra mile. :)

What is gutom-Gutom, precious?  where are these extra funds or incentives we are talking about coming from?

they are bonus's given to the police for doing over time or for getting a crime solved in speedy amount of time. Doing police protection work at other events other then at normal posted area's.
It is monies to be shared with all police involved for going the extra mile. In the gut of one it is going.

I would imagine it is a not an easy job being a police man in the Philippines.

So many want to do good for the people and so many want to do destroy the reputation of the PNP.

Here in Bohol I would not want to be treading in their boots especially when it would come to having to be the PNP posted in the interior parts of Bohol who are always on look out for any rebel problems there.
Especially now when there are reports of more rebel movement then compared to a year ago.

Always be vigilant my fellow brothers and sisters. :)
