In Thailand, you cannot even own a house unless you are a Thai citizen.

Even if you have a Thai wife, you cannot become a Thai citizen, but legible for residence visa.

I voted Yes. But it must be limited otherwise, the rich foreigners will buy the whole Philippines. There are some offered  Islets in Palawan or somewhere else which are not affordable to a normal Pinoys aside  to the one who are Millionaires.  They should offer those to foreigners who are interested to invest in our country.

I agree to what you said earlier, pare. I too have a fear that rich foreigners will try to buy some of the beatiful islets of our country (we only have 7.100 islands). I think that they should be allowed to own some kind of property, like any Filipino citizen, but he or she has to matriculate and become a citizen of the Philippines first.
