The Bohol Chronicle

Colurum vans for hire will soon have tourist franchise to legalize their operation which is vital to tourism, a major accelerator of Bohol economy.

Early qualified applicants may have their franchises issued in time of the national Regional Managers Conference (RMAC) of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in Panglao on May 8.

LTFRB Regional Director Romulo Bernardes assured the franchising of tourist transport (TT) vans in a consultative meeting with Rep. Edgar Chatto, Provincial Tourism Council (PTC) chairman Peter Dejaresco, Land Transportation Office (LTO) - Tagbilaran Registrar Joel Maluloy-on, Provincial Board Member Alfonso Damalerio II and heads of concerned transport groups at the JJ's Seafood Village here Thursday.

The franchise conference was also attended by lawyer Douglas Sanson, LTFRB hearing officer for Bohol, and LTFRB Transport Development Officer Rey Elnar.

Chatto, chairman of the tourism committee in Congress and who facilitated the meeting, praised LTFRB's positive response as it will upgrade the transport sector in the local tourism industry.

Good news kay aron mangalipay na ang mga colorum driver karon sa Airport.
Mahal raba ang franchise kay tag 50 thousand na.

the latest development is that the LTFRB would not grant any tourist franchise to any van of the older models.

Only vans with 2006 are given franchise because they too are the ones that can comply with the DOT standards.

So ang mga Besta vans nga intawon surplus sa Subic, wala nay paglaum pa nga makakuhag tourist franchise.

Ang win win solution, older vans get a public transport Garage to Terminal Express (GT franchise). Which is not what tehd rivers love because going garage to terminal may need them travalling without any passenger from G to T.

It is unfair kon ingon ana kamahal. Unsaon naman lang anang dili makaabot. Patyon nila. Pastilan mao nang mosamot mag colurum.

50T kada franchise. may ra bag permi pono nang Van inig byahe. daghan pa jud kompetensya. kung inutang ning Van, lain pa nang labad sa bayronon.

ang tendency ani, og tan-aw nila, arkanse gihapon, mag-likay jud nang uban mo-palegalize sa operation. hangtud di nila dakapon ang mga colurum, di na jud masulbad kung kini man ugaling ang toyo para pag-hatag og francise aning mga colurum...

Reference to the franchise of Tourist Van in Bohol province, I would like also to know what is current problem arise for the Tricycle Franchise in Tagbilaran City.

Last year it was required to change new 4 stroke Motorcycle and I was did it then after that another requirement, the unit must need to register again in order to update the
if it still active, right? but there was one thing that I confused regarding the number of the unit,
why they had changed it from one number to other?

Also, I have 20 seaters jeepney which has line from Agora to up Town, I would like to transfer it to another line, can you advice for me which will be better line for this?  and to whom I should meet in order to help me to arrange this matter? Is it difficult to transfer from line to another line?

Kana bang naay marka Holy Name o St Peter. kini maoy lami nga negosyo sudlan.
