Press ReleaseThe Tagbilaran City Football enthusiasts officially bonded themselves and organized the Tagbilaran City Football Club. The club is targeting over 500 members coming from the private and public schools. The club aims to promote and develop football in the city by organizing local tournaments and basic football clinics. The Tagbilaran City football players have already made an impact in both regional and national games. By formally bonding, it to hopes self-sustain and search potential grassroots players for future tournaments.
It is sad to note that Tagbilaran City, though considered a powerhouse in the region, has no organized club. Thanks to the active veteran players, the Tagbilaran FC was born.
The elected officers are the following. Joseph Magallaes, president; Tady M. Simpao, vice president; Bruce Sabala, secretary; Patrick Clariño, treasurer; John Fritz Abinido, auditor; Erwin Angalot and Karl Paumig, P.R.O.’s. Board of Directors are Dr. Christopher Awil, Dario Rosalejos, Alberto Lacang, Ned Sarmiento, Arnold Reigner Palban.
