It should be no surprise that Manny Pacquiao remains the undefeated, undisputed pound-for-pound champion of the world according to major boxing publications. Tracking his every move, however, is the universal consensus number 2 pound-for-pounder and Pacquiao nemesis--Juan Manuel Marquez.

The only thing that will change between now and October 1st with respect to the number 1 and 2 positions is how creatively I can write this paragraph before Marquez's September showdown with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Unless of course, Junior suffers another rib injury that requires a few more months and a Pacquiao decision to heal.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
