Members of JCI Bohol Sandugo, an affiliate to the Junior Chamber International – Philippines, a leading global network of young active citizen are all set for “2nd KIA IRON LEGS†and JCI R.A.C.E (Race for Adventure, for the Community and for the Environment) on July 26, 2009.
The bike race is aimed at promoting sports and endurance as well as promoting the tourism in Bohol. It is also aimed at hyping up the Sandugo Festival. The 60 kilometer stretch race route will be from Kia Display Center in Tagbilaran City to the world renowned Chocolate Hills in Carmen Town.
Taking the eco-cultural tourism route, racers can have first hand experience of wonderful sights while enjoying the ride.
The proceeds of the event will help finance the various environmental projects of the club particularly its “Think Green†campaign. - the Bohol Chronicle
