Published by the Bohol ChronicleIn a bid to get himself back in groove and another shot at the world title, come-backing Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista will cross mitts with veteran Fider Viloria in what is considered as a unification title bout on March 27 in Dubai, Saudi Arabia.
Following his convincing 12-round unanimous decision over Mexican toughie Antonio "Barrio" Meza last December 2 at the well-attended fight at the Araneta Coliseum to retain his World Boxing Organization (WBO) Intercontinental super-bantamweight crown, the 22-year-old adopted son of Tagbilaran is all set to win his second comeback fight against the equally-title hungry Viloria, (not related with ex-world champion and Fil-Am Brian Viloria.
Viloria currently holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) Intercontinental superbantam crown, according to the Candijay, Bohol-native in an exclusive interview with this writer. In fact, "Boom Boom" is set to sail back to Cebu tomorrow after a call from his chief benefactor Antonio Lopez Aldequer.
