Richard Pep Ombrosa Agosto captured the bronze medal in the weight lifting 105 kilogram category during the Southeast Asian Games held in Palembang, Indonesia last November 11-22, 2011.
Agosoto who is an active Airman 1st class of the Philippine Air Force started joining athletic meets since he was only 13 years old while attending school in CVSCAFT (currently BISU) Tagbilaran Campus.
The 27 year old Agosto will next compete for in the London Olympic Qualifier on April in South Korea.
Richard is the second child of Pedro and Tessie Agosto of Mansion Side, this city.
