The Vancouverites are glad that they made it. The 21st Winter Olympics was a success, with the Canadian Eishockey Team winning gold. This is a super culmination. Congratulations to the people behind this great event.
Canada's athletes came to these Games not with a swagger but with a confidence that they could do what they were setting out to do. They believed in themselves.

Get ready Sotchi, Russia!

I´m introducing this thread because, 4 years is not far and as of now, Russia is committing a great human tragedy where a certain population are forced to be transferred just to make way of this coming winter olympics. China had had done the same, during the preparations of the Summer Olympics.

Ecologically speaking some projects are being questioned just for this big event. Corruptions are high because of this booming business.
