Kamansi, scientific 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘱𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪, is a tree best known throughout the Philippines for its fruit. The species itself is indigenous to the Philippines, and can be found in the wild or cultivated all over Central Luzon.

Considered as a vulnerable species, it can grow up to 40 meters tall. Its dark green leaves are distinctly deeply lobed.

The young fruit of the camansi is cooked as a vegetable when young. The ripe fruit is mostly consumed for its seeds, which tastes like chetnuts when boiled or roasted. The unripe fruit, much like the jackfruit, is popularly used as a meat substitute because of its texture.
