ah, yes, that's more specific. i can't help but bear a sense of sympathy for herod the great and herod antipas, sympathy that they both rejected the Christ , the savior of all israel, whose coming was foretold by the prophet isaiah.

herod the great was similar to rameses, pharoah of egypt, especially in ordering the death of newborn hebrew babies.

had herod known what he was doing to the Creator of the Universe, he would have fallen on his sword like king saul when he was defeated by the philistines.
