Why is Friday 13th considered unlucky, considering that the Last Supper was on Thursday?

I was born Friday the 13th.Just like everyone else,you could not have everything in life you wanted,but I always  count myself blessed.Friday the 13th is lucky for me.I have enought energy and faith to ward off any superstitious bad luck...

Did you know that 11 is unlucky number? Twin Tower bombing happened on Sept. 11, 2001. Giant Tsunami and earthquake in Japan  happened on March 11, 2011.

for those interested, may i suggest that you go through wikipedia, which has a long entry about friday the 13th.  it's interesting because of this superstition's historical underpinnings.  as for the rest of us, any day, any date, is unlucky or lucky if anything bad or good comes our way.

what i believe though is that like prophecy, there is also such thing as a self-fulfilling superstition.  afraid to drive on a friday the 13th?  well, simple enough.  you drive anyway but keep thinking of the day as unlucky.  you may even hold some fear about what's going to happen.  ergo, you are distracted.  you lose control of your nerves.  boy, you don't notice before it's too late that you are driving straight into a tree.

Panel from an elevator in a residential apartment building in Shanghai. Floors 4, 13 and 14 are missing, because of the similarity between the pronunciation of the word 'four' and 'death' in Chinese'; note also the "negative first floor".

Dili lang ko kahibaw mo post sa picture, were the numbers are missing ;)
