Yes, Bran, Ilocanos eat frogs and many other insects that we Boholanos don't eat. e.g. they eat grasshoppers.

oh my goodness. i did not know that besides frogs, they also eat insects. perhaps the region in ilocos is so poor in natural resources that they result to eating insects? thank goodness that the Visayas (Bohol) are rich in bountiful resources that our people don't have to result in eating amigas.

i can't imagine what i would do if i went to a fiesta and saw fried frogs, fried ants, grasshoppers and the like. to try out my poor tagalog, "Ayoko!"
