Metrobank Customer Service is a Disappointment

You write to the Metrocard customer service requesting them an e-mail of your credit billing statement as you can no longer receive a paper billing statement because they're sending this document to your previous employer in the Philippines and you are now based abroad.

You have to wait for the next millennium before Metrobank replies to your inquiry.

This is the very reason I buy things and transact in the U.S. Whenever you have problems or any concerns,  U.S. firms would always get back to you in a minute by phone, chat, or e-mail. And they won't stop communicating with you until your problem is fixed.

I can only wish Metrobank can learn the US-style customer care.

All are the same - whether private or public entities in our country. They don't listen.

For so many times I wrote to certain government offices in Manila about this, about that, hoping they would appreciate a suggestion from a concerned Filipino who wants to see his country move up.

Everything is deadma. You have to die first before a government office replies to your letter.

in my case, the in-charge of the customer service at metrobank answered my query about SWIFT code the next day. but indeed, in our gov't offices, they won't reply to your questions. walay gamit ila e-mail ad.

sakto ka lumine..when it comes to gov't offices., maabtan pa siyam-siyam before sila mo reply..ayo lang ug mo reply jud..pero ug imo ipa media na gani diba abtik na sila..hehehe!

hapit nako three years dri sa belgium, yadz, ^pro wala pa jud koy nadawat na reply from SSS. before i left, i processed the change of status at SSS-cebu. then ingon sila na a month after daw, mareceive na daw nako new id. nilarga na lang ko,wala pa jud and everytime, i phoned up my mom, i would also ask if she got a mail, wala daw. gipasurrender naman gud ako old id so i was asking through e-mail unsaon nako pagbayad sa ako loan sauna. wala jud reply. dili man gud ko ganahan na naa pa ko bills to pay. wala jud klaro oy!

Ako parents ako gipa-open account sa metrobank before kay maoy diect bank sa ako banko diri but service not good, less than one month pa gani ang account nga walay money gi-close na.. ask mi sa IBAN number kay I need it to to my netbank para mas lesser ang ako ma charge diri, wala manghatag, instead, I close nalang sa ako banko diri ug metrobank..

Then, nag BPI ko, ah da! ghikapoy ko oi, kay mao ra gihapon.. karon PCI-Equitable ako parents.. nakontento naman lang sab mi :)

nindot sad ang equitable., mao gamit sa ako sis-in-law para sa iya allotment. die hard man ko sa bpi..hehehe! bitaw since college pa man gud sa bpi gud and im happy sa ila service esp. now sa padala sa ako hubby., mas dali ra and lesser ang charge nila.

I hate Metrobank. Just today, I asked my brother in-law to make inquiries for my passbook account. It has long been forgotten but I knew I still have money there. After he made the necessary inquiries, he was shocked that the account has been dormant and was deducted 200/month. How come I didn't receive any notice or warning from Metrobank?

Hapit na mahurot ang akong kuarta pero wala gyud ko'y notice nadawat.

One thing I like about the US, you can expect really good customer service here.

Last night, we ate at a resto and our dinner was late arriving, the manager came over to our table apologetic and said that dinner was on the house. And that we could order whatever else we wanted for free. Service like that, you just don't get in the Philippines.

A few months ago, I was trying to get my passport renewed. I called the Embassy in Washington DC, and the girl who answered the phone was so rude. Na remind ko of how gov't employees treated me sa Pinas...mapa NSO, PRC or unsa pa na diha nga gov't agency...mga rude ang mga empleyado.

Naka ingon jud ko, kadtong bayhana bisan naa siya sa Amerika, nadala niya iyang wala'y pagka batasan.

Thyl, there are two extremes.

1. Buotan kaajo - like the Boholanos.
2. Way Batasan - sama sa mga taga-Luzon

Based sa akong experience, na-notice na ko nga kasagaran taga Manila ang mga way batasan ug rude. Naa man sa province, pero dili kaayo.

Grabe ang customer service sa U.S. Kining Tubag Bohol nakabase sa California ang server ani and every time mocontact ko sa technical team about sa technical problem, they won't give you up until masulbad imong problema. Usahay ako nalay maulaw kay I feel nga nakahasol na ko sa company, but they are always nice and supportive no matter what.

This is one reason nga walay blessing atong nasud kay daghang mga rude ug garbosa ug garboso.

Mo lang, Mike!

Daghan man pud mga ngil-ad batasan sa atong nasud gud. Mga matapobre, social climbers, feeling datu, feeling guapa/guapo, feeling whatever, mga elitista bisan pislat ilong...na absorb gyud nato ang mga panget nga batasan sa katsila...

Bisan dire sa Amerika, mga pinoy magpinalabwanay...a lot of them are so flashy...materialistic kaayo...gaudy kaayo'g mga style...

Naay ubang nurses nga kaila nako (esp. in Calif) nga pinoy, mga hilas man kaayo...kung mo porma mura'g mga milyonaryo...mao jud to akong impression sa mga nurses kay mga datu gyud...sa pinoy community sa calif, mga nurses ang superior kintahay kay sila man dagko'g paycheck...imagine my surprise, nga pag abot nako dire where maihap ra ang pinoy, lahi ra gyud. In my job, I deal with nurses everyday. Ang mga puti nga nurses lahi ra man gyud, simple ra kaayo sila. Nothing flashy. Just regular working people.

Anyways, with regards to Metrobank, I couldn't say anything negative. Mao na akong banko sa Pinas, and I've always received good service from them.

*to be fair, I know many wonderful pinoy nurses too*
