Emano postpones Taiwan visit
Cagayan de Oro City (29 June 2005) -- CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Vicente Y. Emano is putting on hold his visit to Tainan City, Taiwan in deference to the present volatile political situation of the country.
Scheduled to leave late this month for another round of trade mission and sisterhood city tie-up in Taiwan, Mayor Emano said postponing the foreign trip would be for the best interest of the city.
“Not now. This time isn’t appropriate yet,†the mayor clarified the postponement today.
