i am so excited for my nanay, i love her, she has endured so much trials and yet here she is very victorious in life, not by wealth may be but in family coz she have US...

i'm trying to learn pero iba daw dialect nmin sa dimiao sa tagbilaran, pati mama ko nahirapan pag tinatanong ko sya, karamihan hindi nya alam.

that's a challenge for me to take, learn the language, so i must stay long enough in bohol, yeheeey!

what happened to the theater is terrible, it's just sad to know that they are more in favor of  the parking lot than a baroque design theater...
why not preserve instead of demolishing, well, money must have something to do with it, i guess.

jamo2x, nakaka aliw nman pala ang habal habal, definitely i'll try that one.
since, that is one of the means of transportation in our barrio aside from the jeepney, which according to my cous travels only on thursdays and sundays
i do love adventures!!!

what's the best beach resort you can advise me to spend an overnight? somewhere peaceful, not crowded and serves delicious food but not pricey though? thanks does that exist in bohol? hehe

haha, i don't think that would be necessary jamo2x.. i wouldn't have the time to do that, i'll be busy with my family, with the tarsiers, the beautiful spots, i will spend time finding old churches, but mostly spend lots of time to the beach...

the only thing lacking now is for me to get to bohol and reunite with my family, that would definitely confirm my blood

sir benelyne, i did shed a lot of tears too, tears of happiness, i really can't believe it was that simple to find them after 45 years.. now, we can finally go home to bohol. .
the feeling was so overwhelming, it was joyous...
if you really pray hard for something, God will do the rest, sometimes in such a mysterious way, that you can't almost recognize it's done...
another thing is that, there are a lot of people who wants to help, they are God's miracle.

i've contacted a rent-a-car already but i won't be getting any driver, is it as busy as manila? then i'll be fine driving it myself.. or would you advise me to get one?

it's been two months now since my first post here in tubagbohol and my life, (our lives) had changed a lot. now, i'm a living example that this doesn't only happen in teleserye.
people here in laoag are happy for us too. everyone we knew, whenever we got to see them, be it in church, market, grocery stores etc, they let us know they're glad tubagbohol was created! as what hofelina has said to me, "adeng, that's technology..."
my nanay is very happy now, i can see it, i can feel it. i am responsible for that, right?
but why is it that when i go to sleep at night, there's this question running around my head, why it's only now that i've done this, when in fact the worldwide web was introduced here in laoag during the mid 90's?
there, i feel responsible for that too!
i've wasted so much time. i could've shortennned my mom's agony. i know deep inside her she's been wanting to go home a long time ago but she chose not too because of so many things, we have no means or resources or what life does her siblings have after so many years of no communication at all. she was afraid too. i envy those who grew up with their family, those who doesn't have to feel incomplete and anonymous, all we have was a middle name with no representation. my mom is a victim of poverty who never gave up on life...
i may have regrets but at the end of the day i'm just glad i did what i did

i'm happy having found my relatives, but more so, having made my nanay so much happier now.. me n my siblings grew up with no memories of them, only vague stories
by my mom. now, i brought home to laoag my cousin richard (whom, like my mom travelled away from home and works in laguna, in manila etc, to be able to support himself, but he got laid off) and tomorrow i will help him enroll in one of the colleges here, he's 21y.o., but i believe it's not yet late for school, right?

hi, im not even sure if what i'm doing is right or if i'm at the right site to do this thing, but honestly, deep inside i'm hoping this will be the start of it all...
let me tell you the story,...  our story.
my mom (gloria pahayac magadan) she's 63 now; came from a poor family in limokon dimiao bohol, in search for a greener pasteur, at a young age, she left bohol with a neighbor, to work in mindanao, that was in 1964, from there she worked hard for survival, because she lacked academic skills she lost contact with her parents and siblings... she reached manila and worked under different people, until she met my father who is from ilocos, i have two older siblings. the life in manila was difficult then so my dad took us home to laoag, she wrote several times in dimiao but nobody responded. my dad died in 1984, so still twas a hard time for my mom raising us up alone. WE WANT HER TO REUNITE WITH HER FAMILY IN DIMIAO, PLEASE HELP US, TNX
