Mike during last weeks SP meeting the NFC was at the session under the guest ship of Vice Mayor Antonio Veloso.
The NFC said that the ships supplies to cebu and here are running smoothley.
So far as to this post there are no signs of NPA wanting to take over the rice sittuation.

Here in Bohol per day we consume over 7.300 plus bags per day of rice, occurding to the national food commission here in Bohol.
Bohol is not having a shortage. thats the latest according to they're reports.

What is making it expensive is the gas per barrel is already over 120 dollars.

Some ports where the rice is normally being brought too the rice that is bad rice is being resacked and sold as a first class rice.

Once you but it at first class price and cook it it is daot rather fast according to  Hon. SP member DanDan Bantugan.
He bought the rice and thought it was good because of the sack it had been put in.

??? At todays SP meeting in Tagbilaran it was announced that a woman died outside of Galleres hospital. She was not admitted because she was from another area.

She slept outside the hospital on the sidewalk until her death.
Investigation is on going!

Bohol Latest News / Re: Rice Supply for Bohol
April 28, 2008, 08:28:21 PM
AT today's SP session NFA manager was also present it is mathematically known that in Bohol alone there are 7,650 sacks of rice consumed in one day.

He also reported that shipments of rice or on time and on schedule with deliverences to Bohol province.

Governor Aumentado just wants to monitor rice to see how much is being used for exporting.

NFA also stated that in Bohol there is no present rice crisis.

He said this is not just Bohol suffering presently with oil barrels at a record $120.00 per barrel.

He also emphasized on cutting back on rice and being more conservative with the food rice alone.

I mean example of me when I was once a victim of extortion.
#907
I stop'd listening to that entire media and FM outlet when the anchormen kept using me as an example to an alleged extortion victim and spreading my families business all over the radio.

Untill now the case is being investigated, sure wish they would leave my private life alone but i suppose the price for being in the media.

#908
Of course they are wow'd as people from America and my state alone really know how to show they're manners when it comes to performances and fine art's.

Here in Bohol most are afraid to clap they're hands to award of a great show and appreciation of the persons performing talents and hard work.

Many things that happen here need a lot more applause for the talents being displayed.

Often in today's world we get bogged down with all the negatives in life that we forget to praise the good things in life.

See what happens when everyone wants to pay more to what are the bad things?

#909
I do not want to confuse anyone regarding the last statement. The man who is coordinating the Pageant it is his wife who has passed away.
Mario Uy and his wife just flew back to Bohol after a breif trip in going to United States.

May I give my full condolences to Mario Uy, deputy Mayor of Tagbilaran and his family at such a horrific time of death.

Mario Uy, is also owner of the beautiful Marivella resorts.

He also former past president of the province for restaurants and resort owners association

Today I was able to attend the SP session of the City hall regarding several ordinances.

One of the topics had to do with why were the SP councilors deducted p100.00 in they're paychecks with out proper knowledge of it happening?

The money is to help support the pageant as it is a city government project under the previous mayor's rules that also allows the city mayor to deduct the wages automatically.

During other news today I am sad to regret the passing away of this years Miss Tagbilaran pageant coordinator and sponsor of the event Mario Uy's wife has passed away due to an aneurysm .

The ideal of the pageant being held at the Dao Market which is stinking to high heavens at present should be put in it's perspective.

Leo my darling, the girls did fine people here need to work on being positive and hoping for the best for other's try to encourage and not discourage.

you and emerson are my darlings!

It was taken off the list because they say it was being ilegally advertized.
how are people suppose to know about voting if they are not informed about voting chances to begin with?

I do not feel it was ilegal as it was not paid for advertizing now if paid advertizing that is different but to inform about voting for it is okay why not we have a right to choice what we like and if people want to campaign for things it is also their right again.

I think it was a sad thing to be removed from the list.

the gighest premium of gas here in Bohol cost 52 for litre. Rice top price is 38.00 for kilo.

the price increase is just not here but everywhere all over the world i think it is pretty much safe to say that we are in a recession these days.
#915
yes grazie they still sell the yummy fried up peanuts cooked in oiland galic with salt, or the candied coated ones which are my favorite.

Temura is the hot item on a stick now to eat.

When will you be coming back to Bohol?

Hope to meet you soon girl! :)

seems like we average 5-6 homicides her a month latley in tagbilaran alone.

I am sorry I have not been activley following this case up, as I have been really busy being asigned in two newspapers and starting to get the ball rolling for my step daughters adoption.

I want to really badly talk with persons who know more about the cases latest info.

I hate to say this but a couple of media members lamented their feelings regarding the issue of the two young women victims to me and said they would not write abut such a topic in fear of being shot down no a days.

They further went on to say that they had heard chiks that these girls were active in having sex already, but even so it still does not make it right.

Why are people so full of cruel things to say here I am starting to be more strict with people here as I am just getting frusterated as heck about the lack of kindness and feelings towards people anymore.

Are people that mannerless and that unthoughtfull as persons as this sure seems to be a habit in this culture latley more than it has ever been?
#918

I actually like the crackling kisses, for me they are yummy remind me of peanut butter cookies shaped into a kiss.

One year ago SP member gave me the challenge to come up with research regarding this double barrier reef and its illegal fishing problems and what not including it vast over population per square hecter along the coastal towns that border around the barrier.

Cty administrators representing Lapu Lapu city refussed to sign the MOA in an interveiw with this witer they said detalis are not accurate and that 11 other towns should also be included and that no municipal owns rights to any coastal body of water.

It was also rumored not all governors had fully decided to sign the MOA bf most persons had to leave and go back home to theyre repectfull provinces.

The appointment writers science workshop went very well for me of course.

Our days started early around 530 am and our time was kept busy but well worh it as we were sponsored in rt business class in Philippne Airlines and accomodations in a five star hotel in Manila.

We spent two nights at the Diamond hotel along Roxas blvd.
meals and all provided.

Our workshop consisited of around 6 different speakers in one day and we talked about all types of diseases that are curable, and what are they're symptoms.

Pnuemococcal disease is fatal if there is no action taken for vaccinating oneself on time.

I will see if I can paste up the write up that I wrote and submitted for the Bantay Balita Newspaper.

Kit was on the 19th floor and I was on the 22nd floor and their were 27 floors total.

the next day we marched down parts of ROxas BLVD in support of having better health and medical for children National wide in Philippies.

We were truley taken well care of.

Actually during the first day of screening ang finish sa deadline one day women were being drug randomley from the conference room of Mayor Dan Lim.

So this caused some women to be entered one day after the deadline entry.

Last Sunday eight of the most influential media judged part of the pagaent for darling of the press and bikini swimwear.

I was one of the eight chosen.  I and Vida Tirol from PGMA were the only muses to represent the media the rest were the mens of course.

The girls are beautifull and seem taas with height this year.
I intereiwed them and was the last one to ask the questions to each candidate unless one of the guys did not take up two questions?

Each contestant was given 3 minutes to be asked and answer the questions imposed for them.
certain contestants did not give that intelligent of answers neither did some of the media ask questions that were constructive.

It seems as if after I asked my question the media man siting beside me would repeat my question to the next girl and so on so every girl I had asked a question too I had to keep challenging myself to come up with new questions.

some of my questions included; Do you think a swimsuit competition is necessary for this type of pagaent?

Since it is crisis now what would you like to put your winning prize money towards family, schooling, future family or investment?

The other guys basic not so hard thought out questions went like this; "What course are you studying?"

After taking our meals I was asked to shoot a video scene announcing darling of the press winner but told to keep it silent.

The video will be played on stage wth me announcing the winner of that said event.

I would like to see more politer things sain in here and if you can say both to just balance out your comments because nobody digs "Crab Mentality".

Another Contest is coming up for Miss Paglao and I will be judging that contest on May second after Tagbilaran fiesta.

I wish all the contestants the best in luck for me you were all pretty cute from what I seen of you!
#924
Thanks sweety for the information. It will give me something to talk with Kit about in a few hours when its time to to go on board the plane. I made two business cards for both newspapers that I write in and maybe i will try to post them for you to see.

Your comment is truly valued and that is the constructive comments I like to see! For that i will give you an aplause!

he he he! could I add cornmealflour to the list they do not have it here, but back in the states we make corn bread out of it and eat it with chili beans. :)

Thank You Again!

Invitations were sent to two local media outlets and two of the best advocate writers in Bohol Media were chosen by their respected outlets where they write at.

The two members of media chosen to attend a summit about child survival to be held in Manila for three days all exspenses paid will converge with other members from other Asian countries to discuss and tackle the subject of a disease that is killing many children before they even reach to their first grade age.

The disease is known as Pnuemococcal.

Both media persons were chosen because of their exsperience in childrens themes when it comes to informing the public wether it be in their perspected advocacey groups, or in radio and print media.

The two chosen and endorsed members of the bohol media association were Senior Writer Kit Bagaipo who writes for the Bohol Chronicle and dYRD AM news station.
The second chosen is Priscilla Richards who writes with "The Bohol Standard"/and also English Editor for the English section of the "JAPHIL Bantay Balita"

Kit informed this writer colleauge and friend of his that he can use the information he obtains during this Asian Summit held in Manila and apply it to his work as a government worker in the Cogon barangay hall where he is the Barangay captains secretary.

Richards will be able to use it in her other activities such as women and childrens topics when giving guest speeches to other LGU and NGO groups.

The Asian Writing Summit will begin tommorow Am and last untill Friday PM.
Venue to be held at Diamond Hotel along the Manila Bay.

This is just one of many things media will do to take a step further all the time to help educate and inform the public on what are the latest things to discuss and be informed about.

The bottle is beautifull.

It sounds sweet and yummy.

What I like about buying spirits in Philippines is that there is not all kinds of whammy here and there taxxes imposed on it like back home in the states.
We pay more money for the taxxes then we do for the product.

Love Talk / Re: For MEN Only
April 08, 2008, 01:50:16 PM
It reminds me of a relationship where I was pateint and cared  but he had many excuses why are time was limited to so many times we could see one another.

Then he asked me to start buying vitamins and energy boosters for our nightly get togethers and suddenly the cell phone has become mingaw the messages of love had come to a stop and then he told me he had found  an uyab from Canada who was younger. Okay what ever so I did not know that I was sharing and to me that is a male pig to do that sort of thing to women.
yes I can totally relate I am not into sharing my man with another woman at the same time. Yucks!

Inspiration & Hope / Re: A kiss is?
April 08, 2008, 01:30:12 PM
Um? it titilates the skin?

I would not describe it in that sense but similair to it.

Now it first off was not specifeid in the begining as what type of kiss? (Example;frenchkiss... with tongue vs plain kiss?)

the kiss to me depends on the person, the type of kiss, and if the timing is right.

I kiss means I care about you, and your one of the specail people in my life!

Aske me what a french kiss is and I would give you a whole new meaning of deeper words. :)

Love Talk / Re: For MEN Only
April 08, 2008, 01:20:13 PM
Lorenzo????

Your not in this canoes of life alone you know.

First off she told you she wants to see other persons while dating you or her significant other.

So it should not have come to you as imoral. She was honest from the start.

It was not as if you found out in a shock "GOT YOU!" sense.

Men have been known to think different then women since the begining.

I think (My opinion only) that women are emtionaly more sensitive and can handle trauma better then men as well as pain.

I always thought during my entire school year that the boys who liked me kept a safe distance from me, and the boys who I did not want around me liked me?

Now as I am old adult here I realized that the guys who I thought were dogs are the ones who eventually caught up in their late 20's to early thirties.
They are the one who ended up pretty darn sweet and attractive.

The Sikat gawpa girl in school with the rich parents would end up looking older in her twenties due to being spoiled way too much and and having her involvement in sneaking around on her parents while she actively was into drugs and alcohol.

In my relationships when I reached into my 20's when I decided to date finaily I was up front and always showed my true colors as a nice lady with classy manners and not into drama or being over artie.

Even today I consider myself and so do my friends to be a good natured person.

I base persons on indivisualality not for race in many instances but the two races are not created equal and there has been many evidences shown on that.

I have to agree with grandma (Late) she always told me....."It's a "MANS" world Prissy!" Oh boy I hate that name "Prissy".

#939
I agree when it is closer to home it affects everyone in the entire environment.

My step sister use to manage the original famous amous cookies in sacremento does the place still stand up?

Macky your alright with me keep up the great and fun sense of humor!

We could use more of it in the world these days versuse that stuff that farts from persons lips that are just way to pinched up to know how to enjoy life.

My other worst thing I do not like is people who feel they must correct and critisize and put down others. I should of added it to my top ten but I was trying to keep it funny!
#942
Okay fine lets set the scenario, your mother has just been gunned down in Bohol.

The killer is at large, and has been served papers for court appearance, in the mean time your family is weeping and mourning.

Who cares the one who kills your mom cold blooded is still out having his rights even though your mom is DEAD!

I am sure if it happened to your family or close to home with your relatives you guys would not be happy and would want action right away as if in now!

What kind of human rights did this person serve your mom and you all think he should keep his rights?

I am also christian and I beleive on the theory eye for an eye beyond reasonable doubt!

I am learning things rather slowly as in why the owner of the dYRD and the Chronicle likes to keep things bad that happen to tourist white washed because he also owns a travel agency here in Tagbilaran.

Other then being the provincail Chairman on tourism. It makes even more sense now.

Whats going on?

Lets keep people honestly informed and warned and educated when it comes to accurate and balanced information of events going on whether they are good or bad.

many good foreigners want to adopt children and babies from here from mothers who simply can not afford to give the child born a good future.
The DSWD often makes it hard to have a child given the chance to have a greener pastures and you can find them dickering with the time and the system to grant filing towards adoption.
Insteasd they would rather have the homeless children out on the streets living out of garbage bags now as they do at present.
Or they would prefer that the child sell balut and make money for the family working late hours and I am talking 2nd graders and up.
One boy begs at a restuarant near the peir he says..."please give me coins for bread in a tired and raspy voice...covered in soiled out of date clothes...................I think some DSWD's need to pull their heads out from the cracks of there ahem....and grab a gear and help protect these kids as this is what the custom is all about here.

In case you do not know media attention is going in the wrong direction with cover ups and white washing of issues.

Media needs to get back to the people and investigate the present gangs running at loose who are notorious in commiting crimes.

After leaving a socail event at metro tonight and walking to Duncan Donuts via CPG Ave to Agora the streets or filled with garbage, drug dealers, and prostitutes hanging out with their clients after doing the deed.

the blotter at the city police station is filled with much petty crimes and bigger bad boy crimes.

The point of the matter is this place use to never have crime and now latley in the past few years you can not say that statement anymore.

Its a total let down to Bohol natives who have rusted and felt secure to live here all their lives and now some are living in fear because of the rampant increase in crimes.

Its a shock to many here as they think before that crime would nver come to Bohol, and the sad thing is they were wrong.

Editor hits attempts to ‘muzzle the press’                        Fred Amora

AN editor of a local weekly English newspaper lamented on the recent attempts to “muzzle the press” from further exposing raging issues of corruption in government.
Fred Amora, associate editor of another local newspaper here in Bohol, through an email message, sent a challenge to his colleagues in the Bohol Tri-Media Association, Inc. if, “they will surrender to those who seek to destroy us and the very democratic principles which give us the freedom to speak and write freely?”
For exposing the alleged illegal money-making activities inside the Bohol Poverty Reduction Management Office, Amora claims he is now maliciously accused of extortion and blackmail, among others.
Amora submitted to BTMA Wednesday his answer to the accusations filed b
rey dalay: by Antonietto “Boy” Pernia, chief of BPRMO who sent a letter to BTMA President Peter Dejaresco complaining about Amora’s alleged ethical conduct.
Amora said that copies of the complaint were distributed for publication without his side, and worst of all picturing him as an extortionist?
Two Commission on Audit Observations (COA-AOM) No. 2007-014 and AOM No. 2008-005 dated Dec. 18, 2007 and Feb. 18, 2008 respectively, declared “ILLEGAL” such deductions of coop funds amounting to P344,000 made by BPRMO.
COA lambasted the 10% deductions saying, “The poverty reduction office (BPRMO) is there to help and assist the cooperatives and not to manipulate the transactions to his own benefit.” (COA-AOM No. 2007-014, Sec (2), paragraph 2)
Amora said that he asked for a copy of BPRMO Chief’s officia
rey dalay: official explanation and comment of the issues as ordered by COA, clearly telling him that he needs that copy since his work in the print industry (newspaper) requires documentary references when writing a news story, particularly issues of serious concerns.”
“Waiting for a copy of his written explanation for almost three (3) weeks before its publication was “more than fair enough” â€" and that is because I value his name and our friendship,” Amora said.
“The publication, in fact, also opened an opportunity for Pernia to clear his name as the COA report was circulating in whispers inside Capitol, all pointing to him as responsible being chief of said office,” Amora added.
“The issue that Mr. Pernia should deal with and hopefully he could convincingly explain is why he kept such 10% deduct
rey dalay: deductions “un-official” and away from the knowledge of the Governor and even from provincial auditors?” Amora asked.
He added that “with coops now complaining there is no amount of media cover-up or muzzling of the press that can prevent the truth to come out.”
Amora also said that after the story came out in print, he called and put Pernia LIVE ON AIR for him to explain his side of the story at the DyRD 9-10 in the morning PULSO radio program where Amora briefly sat as co-anchor of Batchoy Alba.
The STANDARD also published an interview with Pernia about his reported trip to Canada; that he is not like the fugitive Joc-joc Bolante and he’s “not taking flight to evade the issues of BPRMO.”
“But after board member Josephine Socorro Jumamoy, SP chair on cooperatives called for an inves
rey dalay: investigation to the report which also prompted the creation of a Special Probe Team upon orders of the Governor, Mr. Pernia took a different view and “sadly” aimed his guns on me.”
“With his confidence and statements of innocence, I now wonder why he seemed so confused; even launching an all-out smear campaign against me,” Amora lamented.
“Anybody can even go further to check court records if I was ever charged of LIBEL, a crime that some media colleagues mistakenly consider a smart badge to wear,” Amora stressed.
“I was not even afforded a copy of said complaint for me to know what I am accused of and explain my side. I have a wife, children and a name to protect too. Does he value honor and family? --0

I am personaly fed up with all the media slamming and the ingy ongy oohay  eshay shesay thats going back and forth with the media outlets.
Most media outlets are gaining up on my associate editor, I know more news will be coming out on this issue, I was made aware by another cheif editor that got in touch with me via Im on my yahoo meessanger this Am and told me that Fred wants to have his side of the story told.
I also asked a copy of the write up from fred sent to the Bantay Balita newspaper.
I will be posting it after this write up.
The cheif editor is oblidging to freds request and we will put it on the front page of bantay Balita.

The wrong thing fred has done is to ask his long time mentor Boy guinguing of the sunday post for his answer on freds requested letter reply.

OMG i think many of us just want this settled right away.

In an earlier conversation with Bohol Chronicles Ric Obedencio and Media man of Vice Gov. Herrera of Bohol at a conversation with me after bowling tonight with other media members he told me that last weds, a three team panel of BTMA members was made up of Lorito Palapos, Batchoy Alba, and Carlito Responte as the probe team over the hearing of Fred Amora and Boy Pernia.

According to BGlante Fred has basically been caught with his fingersin the cookie jar.

Freds write up says that he has a name to protect and a family to love so many in media have told to me that they are so fed up with his ethics in media but on the other hand the ones saying that are still complimenting him as a good news writer.

Another day in the Bohol Media.

I also would like to see things get settled.

actualy looking at it from my Queen Size point of view it is not that many x's but it does look like it is flame retardent materials.
In the states some lables have flame retardent chemicles and cloths by law to avoid people from getting burned to death or so bad.

Maybe some of you have never heard of it?

well i do not suppose your house is joined together with another house and its bodega windows are your kitchen windows.
This house hardly had the varments before but the brother had to kiss the house of his other brother and they do not monitor for rats.

I am so irrate about this matter not sure how much more longer i can stay in this house to tell you the truth?

Rats are everywhere even in the shelves at malls right where you get your punsit off the shelfs.
BQ has their pusit in basket style shelves so to control the population of rats like they had before.

Thats nothing, daily living here in the Philippines you see dead rats everywhere even live little bastards if you fast enough?
These guys have multiplied and are hard to get your hands on.

We lay down flat sheets of fly paer here in the philippines and catch them that way and let them squirm and die and squeak all night in the dark.
Best to roll up the rat and paper after he is patay bar b que him but eating is definently not reccomended because if you do not throw him out once dead he starts smelling rather sweet indeed! DAOT LAGI!

Do you know Jeanette Porol from Cangnangcaan? She is the best worker I have ever had in Bohol.

She is an HRM graduate and needs a job that fits her degree. If anyone can help her out she is a good christian/catholic and spends all her monies earned on her family helping them to survive.

okay the keg of beer sounded good to me at the time...lol! What would I do with a box of Cubano cigars?

I would give them away to the trash bin immediatley as i do not promote nasty tobacco products.

What would you do with a bottle of white dry wine?

#991
Its not fun feeling those pains but my mom told me up untill age 25 your insides are still growwing and developing as a women.
My best advice is to breath and take deep breaths do not worry too much or you will just add on to making yourself feel much worse then you feel now.
Alot of how we feel physically has to do with how we are emotionally.

Chin up!......and hope it is nothing to big and yet fast enough to correct!

I wish you speedy recovery!
#992
okay then whats the difference between a post and reaction?

I still do not consider two or three worded no more then six words a full statement or post? (A constructive one that is!)
#993
A keg of beer I am sure my best friend from high school would put the tap up to her lips and suck away like she did when we were younger and telling mom we are going to the movies but instead we took a planned detour to the forested area of the beach to party with buddies from all over the area hell yah at keggers everyone is your best friend.....bring on the free beer!

Those days were fun i was not of a drinker and I am still not one untill today...............I was usually the designated driver and the one to pick up the drunkards and get them home safely, out community is pretty tight knit and cool we do not have a motto of having persons sleeping out in the night drunk or poor or sick or homeless we have shelters for those with no place they can call home.

Here if some one gets drunk they are left for drunk! Thats so mean.

I will try to post what was said in later articles in a news story regarding Fred Amora regarding this BPRMO issue that has Boy Pernia hot on the tale of Fred Amora as the Bohol Chronicle has plaqued his name all over the newsprint.

In the past two others weeks the same editor again Fred Amora was being hinted about as being an exstortinist in this ordeal against Boy Pernia.

I will post them seperatley so you can get the full meal deal on whats really going on and being said and you allbe the judge yourselves of such matter.

Both persons invlolved on the two sides of the fence are friends of mine.

I hate to this this going on.............................If you read between the lines its as if I am being set up to have my editor angry with me.
Bottom line COA should be filed.
                                                            *****************
I spoke with my editor yesterday and he is not feeling well he reported that he has plenty of death threats on him due to this issue.
A personal text message sent to me yesterday from my associate editor (Fred Amora) at the Bohol Standard.

"Good! am happy for you! Me? Am so sad 2day. I feel am going 2 die now. Lots of death threats. if am dead pls do not send flowers.......".
#998
This was not the only geological story that came out in this weeks news.
It is to beleived near to the town of Sagbayan that there was a mama chocolate hill and a papa chocolate hill and they have given birth to seven dotr's.
#999
After reading the post and reading the replies from Boholanos I am sorry to regret that your country does not act so quickly when it comes to punishing persons for crime.
They must be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt for murder, manslaughter, and any other crimes.
In the mean time these alleged persons can run around exposed and possibly perform some villainous acts again?

I think the justice system here is wrong in many ways in how they handle persons who are alleged and persons who are culprit.

look at the American case the driver blanco is still out of prison and having tax paid representation from the city.

The two guys who allegedly raped the minors in a public school here are still out on their own freedom.

In America its called cuff them and stuff them them then and there.

Pretrial, of guilty or none guilty depending on severity of the crime or criminal repeat record it is up to the discretion of the judge to let them out on bail?

The system should be changed here.

It's not that easy here compared to what your witnessing in other countries in which you are all living in at the present time.
Many countries do not b*** crime it is handled accordingly and quickly.
