From the Bohol Chronicle:

Hundreds of tricycle operators jammed City Hall yesterday afternoon to voice their objection to the proposed increase in franchise fees to be collected by the government. City Kagawad Nerio Zamora III presided the public hearing while other lawmakers, Kagawads Lucio Balbin, Edgar Bompat and Kit Oppus were also present to listen to the reactions of the tricycle operators.

I think thousands of passangers who ride tricycle and have been putting up with increased personal fares and discrimination of destination towards passangers need to also march in the streets and protest about unfare persaonla fares increases? Walay Klaro jyud!

I agree with you, Precious! I experienced having to walk from UB to my grandparent's home near Bohol Ice Plant because the tricycle drivers prefer closer destinations.
