Nice bitaw.  Actually, Tita Lee already know my Dad before pa but she didn't know he was my father until she saw in one of the posts here.  And when she saw Daddy at ICM one afternoon, she approached Dad.  Nakurat kuno si Daddy ingon ni Tita Lee.  Then Tita Lee visited our home the day before the fiesta celebration in Manga and it turned out, she actually know most of my family in Taloto and Dad knew too Tita Lee's husband kay si Daddy diay tig ayo sa sakyanan sa Uncle sa bana ni Tita Lee kay mekaniko man si Daddy.  Small world!  We are actually related ni Tita Lee by affinity. If not for Tubag Bohol, di siguro mi mag ila.   

Tita Lee aka simplylee approached Daddy at ICM because she saw Dad's picture posted here.  Karon, ilhan na kaayo nila sa amoa ang Tubag Bohol.

Last weekend, we went to the Pinoy Seafood City and I got butong (young coconut).  I was so surprised it was already 1.29 a piece when not so long ago it was .99 a piece.  Yesterday, I went their again and to my big surprise the butong was already 1.49!

During the sermon today at the church, our priest talk lengthily about Tim Russert.  Beautiful things has been said to her in all tv shows that talk about his death and I thought, well, he suddenly became a nice man because he is now dead.  Apparently I was wrong.  nice things were said about him because he was really a nice person.  Our priest said he was devout Catholic and he said more.  There has been a lot of people who died and our priest never talked as much as he did about Tim Russert today. 

There's a welcome thread for her but she hasn't been back yet.

I think it's also work related.  Imagine having to work 20 hours a day and maybe his brain was still working when he was asleep!  He died doing what he loved to do.

I remember back then, I used to work with a man who was so workaholic.  He didn't leave the office until about 2 a.m. and at 7 a.m. he was back to the office.  During weekends, he took his two kids to be with him in his office while he works.  Then he took a vacation.  He watched the Russian circus or circus something at the Limketkai with his two kids and wife.  He had a terrible headache during the show.  When they went home, he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.  He had Brain aneurysm.  Two weeks later, he died.  He was in his early 40s.

Gem, you know I love you too, and Joe and Kyle.  Sayang lang wa nimo nadawat akong text messages when I got your card and more.  I was so teary eyed when I read Joe's letter kay I really appreciated that he took time to write to me.  And Kyle.  My God, you raised a very beautiful son but I am not surprised because he is your producto.  Nalingaw ko sa iyang gi apil na award.  I will keep all the copies of his report card and award.  Someday when he is big already, I will show these to him para di nya ko malimtan.

I remember when my younger brothers and sisters were still babies, my Mom supplemented her milk with Alpine.  Kaluoy sa Ginoo, di man mga buringog except for the boys na "genetically" bugoy na!

Yeah, that 96-year old doctor is pretty amazing!  He has three nurses to assist him in his job but I really can't help but doubt if he is still "up to code".

Dong, my Uncle's bp as of yesterday's text by my aunt was 240/120.  That's so high, isn't it? Right now, the plan is for my Uncle's wife to accompany my Uncle to travel to Bohol on Sunday.  They live, by the way, in Oroquita, a remote place in the Northwestern Mindanao. My Mom and her brothers inherited their mother being hypertensive.  Mano Omay, that's my Uncle, is the younger brother of our late Manoy Pael and my Mom.  He must be 55.
