We also had a story here in California where a man was handcuffed for "disrespecting to a police officer who happens to be a dog.  The man was walking near a police station and the dog kept barking at this man who shouted  at the  dog "shut up"! Hello Jun,

I sent the three boxes of books and magazines on July 20.  I sent it through our house in Manga because I put it in one big box which also contain a few items for my family.  The three boxes for your School is properly labeled as for Holy Infant Academy, Anda. Mag ask ra ko'g help nimo unsaon pag forward sa Anda or di kaha ako na lang ipa sakay sa bus.  Pamasahian na lang nko ang box para matarong jud.  LBC told me na mo abot na to sa Manga in 30 to 45 days pohon.  Nalipay lang ko nabuhat na nko akong gi commit. 

By the way, I have a manifest of the books and magazines I sent.  I can post it here.

That wasn't the hottest this year!  Adto na week, nag abot mi'g 110 plus!  We had to deal not just the heat but also the poor air quality.  In our area, extremely unhealthy due to the more than 300 hundred fire all over California.  Unsa na lang kaha ang duol sa sunog!  Thanks God na contain na ang mga sunog and I hope wala nay sunog pang lain!

I apologize, Sis A, if no one has acknowledged yet your donation and confirmed if it was delivered at all.  It was thoughtless of me not to ask about it too as I was just so excited about how the party went and where the pictures are.  Anyway, I sent a text message to Lumine already but I guess I won't get a reply until morning comes in the Phils.  I will call early in the morning there so I can answer your question. This was the painting that won for her the grand prize from the Mayor of Tsukuba City in a city-wide competition for junior high school students here in Japan. Didn't know about this until I received the notice. She titled this "Rhythmn in Stick", probably in reference to her second love which is drums (and music). The reason I encourage her to pursue this when she is a little settled with her academics is that she told me she knows how to pencil-sketch but is not confident in watercolor. I really appreciate the help I could get from you by referring this mentor.

When I have a cake to decorate, I do it at late night.  Most of the time I start at 11 p.m. when all's quiet already in the neighborhood.  I usually goes to bed at 3 or 4.  Regular days, I sleep past midnight like 1 or 2.

I don't think this has something to do with education or the lack of it.  My mother is only Grade 3 but I am proud to say she   has deeper understanding and compassion to the victims in this crime.
