Urine Therapy: How to Do It

Very briefly, here are two main ways that are suggested to do urine therapy. This is in no way a complete discussion of how to use the therapy, but simply an introduction.

1) Use your own urine in a homeopathic fashion.

First, collect midstream urine in a clean cup or container. This should be a clean catch, meaning the genital area (important for women in particular) has been cleaned beforehand. To 1/6 ounce of distilled water in a sterile bottle, add one drop of fresh urine. Cap and shake 50 times. Take one drop of this mix and add to another 1/6 ounce of distilled water and shake 50 times. Take one drop of this mix and add to 1/6 oz. of 80 to 90 proof vodka which acts as a preservative.

Place three drops under the tongue hourly until there is obvious improvement or temporary exacerbation of symptoms. As improvement progresses, lengthen the interval between treatments. After 3 days, suspend treatment to avoid pushing the immune system. Treatment is resumed if progress remains static or relapse occurs.

2) Begin with oral drops then increase dosage as needed.

Use fresh urine drops direct. For some cases, sub-lingual drops work well.
(Should always use fresh urine immediately upon collection. You should not boil or dilute the urine in any way. You must use it in its natural form)

Start by taking 1-5 drops of morning urine on the first day. On the second day, take 5-10 drops in the morning. On the third day, take 5-10 drops in the morning, and the same amount in the evening before you go to bed.

Once you feel accustomed to the therapy, gradually increase the amount as needed for obtaining results for your condition. As you use the therapy, you will learn to adjust the amount you need by observing your reactions to the therapy. It may be that you'll work up to actually drinking an ounce or two at a time.

Chain-smoking whisky drinker marks 100th birthday

A lifelong chain-smoker has celebrated reaching his 100th birthday - despite puffing his way through nearly 300,000 fags.

Hard-living Arthur Langran has smoked at least 10 cigarettes a day since the age of 20.

The father-of-two also religiously drinks a dram of Macallan single malt Scotch whiskey every evening before getting into bed.

Arthur, of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, in Britain celebrated his 100th birthday drinking pints of ale with his family and friends at his local pub - The George - in Hintlesham, Suffolk, which is run by his youngest son John, 57 on Sept 8.

He said: "I always say the secret is doing things you’re not told to do."

"I have been smoking since I was 20 and I still enjoy it, and a pipe. I have a whiskey every night."

"I also like reading the papers and doing crosswords with the help of my son John."

Arthur’s eldest son Peter, 62, revealed that doctors have told his father to keep smoking.

He added: "Dad has smoked roll-ups since he was 20-years-old and more recently used a pipe."

"These days he rolls himself five or six a day but used to smoke more and has his pipe once in the morning and once in the afternoon."

"He has a small single malt whiskey every night. He’s been doing that ever since he was elderly."

"He’s had a tough old life. He was an orphan, had a terrible time living and working in Canada and was blown up by a grenade in the war."

"The doctor has said its not worth getting him to give up the cigarettes. He’s still in good health despite the smoking and still mobile and gets up stairs whenever he wants."

Arthur was born an orphan and sent to Canada by National Children Homes when he was just 14 years old to work as a farmhand.

He returned to Britain in 1940 when he was 30-years-old so he could join the Army and fight Hitler and the Nazis in the Second World War.

It was also the same year that he smoked his first cigarette, shortly after signing up with the Suffolk Regiment.

He was married to Ivy who sadly died in 2000.

26 Pinoys in Egypt homebound

abs-cbnNEWS.com
Posted at 02/03/2011 12:18 PM | Updated as of 02/03/2011 12:18 PM

MANILA, Philippines â€" Twenty-six Filipinos are homebound on Saturday after they expressed their intentions to be repatriated following the ongoing political crisis in Egypt.

According to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) spokesman Ed Malaya, the Filipinos will depart Cairo International Airport on Saturday, February 5, for the Philippines.

“They will comprise the first batch in the voluntary repatriation being conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Cairo and the DFA in view of the on-going crisis in Egypt,” Malaya said in a text message to abs-cbnNEWS.com on Thursday.

Malaya said the Philippine government is focused on ensuring the safety and security of Filipinos, and will repatriate those who would like to come home.

He earlier said the DFA sees no need for a mandatory evacuation of the more than 6,500 Filipinos based in Egypt. Nevertheless, the DFA has offered to move to safer areas or bring home those who feel that their lives are at risk in Egypt.

Malaya said that the DFA is looking at 2 scenarios of voluntary evacuation: repatriate Filipinos by air or transport them to the Israeli or Jordanian borders.

DAVAO CITY, Oct. 18 (PNA) -â€" Does urine posses any medicinal value?

Some believe so, basing upon alleged olden Chinese practice.

As a matter of fact, there was a group of Davaoenos in the l990s who recycled their urine for rejuvenation and cure of their various abdominal ailments.

Rudy de Leon, a businessman friend of the Davao Press, was one of the group that included a few Filipino-Chinese or Tsinoys.

Rudy would say everytime he met this writer that he felt good after sometime drinking his own urine.

A sort of urine therapy upon waking up in the morning.

Later, I never heard about Rudy.

I would like to conclude that their group must have dissipated along the way.

European Union EU / Lalaki Ang Model Sa "Mona Lisa"?
February 03, 2011, 11:58:05 AM
A New Theory for "Mona Lisa"
by Mike Krumboltz

For centuries, people have been speculating about who modeled for Leonardo Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa." Was it Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a Florentine merchant? Was it Isabella of Aragon? Was it the artist himself, as some experts believe? Or was it, as new research suggests, none of the above?

An Italian art historian, Silvano Vinceti, believes the model for the "Mona Lisa" was a man named Gian Giacomo Caprotti, better known as Salai, a male apprentice (and possible lover) of da Vinci.

At a press conference in Rome on Wednesday, Vinceti explained his theory. "Salai was a favorite model for Leonardo," Vinceti said. "Leonardo certainly inserted characteristics of Salai in the last version of the 'Mona Lisa.'" Vinceti pointed out the similarities between the noses and mouths as examples.

Following the press conference, Web searches on "da vinci salai" and "gian giacomo caprotti" both soared.

Earlier this year, Vinceti remarked that he discovered some objects in the eyes of the "Mona Lisa." He says he has found the letter "S" in the woman's left eye, the letter "L" in her right eye, and the number "72" under the bridge in the background. The images are not visible to the naked eye. Scientific equipment was used.

Vinceti doesn't necessarily believe that Salai was the only inspiration for the world's most famous painting. At the press conference, the historian said, "the 'Mona Lisa' must be read at various levels, not just as a portrait." In other words, according to Vinceti, there were likely multiple inspirations for the painting.

Not everyone agrees with Vinceti's opinions. In an interview with the AP, Marani, an art professor at Milan's Politecnico University, called Vinceti's theory "groundless." He further remarked, "The work ('Mona Lisa') began as the portrait of Lisa Gherardini, but over the years in Leonardo's hands it slowly turned into something else: an idealized portrait, not a specific one."

This isn't the first time an art expert has linked Salai to one of da Vinci's works. Vinceti believes other works, including "St. John the Baptist," were also based on Salai. Others have floated the "Mona Lisa" theory as well.

History / Headhunting
February 03, 2011, 12:09:00 AM
Headhunting is the practice of taking a person's head after killing them. Headhunting was practised in historic times in parts of China, India, Nigeria, Nuristan, Myanmar, Borneo, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Micronesia, Melanesia, New Zealand, and the Amazon Basin, as well as among certain tribes of the Celts and Scythians of ancient Europe. In fact, it occurred in Europe until the early 20th century in the Balkan Peninsula and to the end of the Middle Ages in Ireland and the Scottish marches. More recently, it has been practised in World War II and the Vietnam War.

As a practice, headhunting has been the subject of intense discussion within the anthropological community as to its possible social roles, functions, and motivations. Themes that arise in anthropological writings about headhunting include mortification of the rival, ritual violence, cosmological balance, the display of manhood, cannibalism, and prestige. Contemporary scholars generally agree that its primary function was ceremonial and that it was part of the process of structuring, reinforcing, and defending hierarchical relationships between communities and individuals. Some experts theorize that the practice stemmed from the belief that the head contained "soul matter" or life force, which could be harnessed through its capture.
