Gikanayon ni Police Officer 1 Ramil Locostales, imbestigador sa Padada Traffic Operations Management, nahitabo ang insidente alas 6:20 sa hapon niadtong Lunes sa dihang nagmaneho si Jem Bontong Empleo, 38, minyo, nagpuyo sa 455 Tomas Claudio Street, Padada sa iyang Yamaha Crypton, dunay plate number MH 2401, kolor pula sa nahisgutang lugar.

Apan samtang gilatas sa biktima ang dan sa maong lugar, kalit lang matud pang dunay mitabok nga baka nga maoy hinungdan nga iya kining nabanggaan.

Tungod sa kakusog sa impak, nalagpot si Empleo gikan sa iyang gimanehong motor ngadto sa kalsada hinungdan nga nakahiagum siya og bun-og sa nagkadaiyang bahin sa lawas.

Gidala sa South Cotabato Provincial Hospital ang biktima nga nailhang si Renyan Tuan, nga taga Maan, T'boli, South Cotabato apan namatay gihapon.

Gisaysay sa amahan sa bata nga si Rene Tuan nga ang iyang anak gipaak og iro sa tuhod niadtong Pebrero 5 apan tungod kay gamay lang ang samad niini hinungdan nga wala na gitagad ug gihugasan lang gamit ang sabon.

Sulod sa usa ka bulan, wala matud pay nakitang simtomas sa bata tungod nag-eskuwela ug lagsik ang lawas niini.

Apan niadtong Dominggo, nakit-an na lang ang biktima nga nagbula ang baba ug mahadlok na og tubig ug kahayag.

Tungod niini, gitabangan ang pamilya madala ang bata ngadto sa balay tambalanan apan human makalabay ang usa ka oras, nakabsan siya sa kinabuhi.

Ang biktima nagbutyag sa mga gwardiya nga nagpakisayud kaniya nga sa wa pa mahitabo ang pagpanigbas, nagkalalis sila sa iyang asawa.

Giingon nga nasuko lamang ang asawa ngadto sa iyang bana kinsa dugay nakauli sa ilang balay.

Maria Elena Milagro “Helen” de Hoyos

Carl Tanzler or sometimes Count Carl von Cosel (February 8, 1877 â€" July 23, 1952) was a German-born radiologist at the United States Marine Hospital in Key West, Florida who developed a morbid obsession for a young Cuban-American tuberculosis patient, Elena Milagro “Helen” de Hoyos (July 31, 1909 â€" October 25, 1931), that carried on well after Hoyos died. In 1933, almost two years after her death, Tanzler removed Hoyos’ body from its tomb, and lived with the corpse at his home for seven years until its discovery by Hoyos’ relatives and authorities in 1940.



During his childhood in Germany, and later, while traveling briefly in Genoa, Italy, Tanzler claimed to have been visited by visions of a dead ancestor, Countess Anna Constantia von Cosel, who revealed the face of his true love, an exotic dark-haired woman, to him. On April 22, 1930, while working at the Marine Hospital in Key West, Tanzler met Maria Elena Milagro “Helen” de Hoyos (1909â€"1931), a local Cuban-American woman who had been brought to the hospital for an examination by her mother. Tanzler immediately recognized her as the beautiful dark-haired woman that had been revealed to him in his earlier “visions.” By all accounts, Hoyos was viewed as a local beauty in Key West.



On February 18, 1926, Hoyos married Luis Mesa (1908â€"?), the son of Caridad and Isaac Mesa. Luis left Hoyos shortly after Hoyos miscarried the couples’ child, and moved to Miami. Hoyos was legally married to Mesa at the time of her death. Hoyos was eventually diagnosed with tuberculosis, a typically fatal disease at the time, that eventually claimed the lives of almost her entire immediate family. Tanzler, with his self-professed medical “knowledge,” attempted to treat and cure Hoyos with a variety of medicines, as well as x-ray and electrical equipment, that were brought to the Hoyos’ home. Tanzler showered Hoyos with gifts of jewelry and clothing, and allegedly professed his love to her.

Despite Tanzler’s best efforts, Hoyos died of terminal tuberculosis at her parent’s home in Key West on October 25, 1931. Following Hoyos’ funeral, which Tanzler paid for, and with the permission of her family, Tanzler commissioned the construction of an above ground mausoleum in the Key West Cemetery that he visited almost every night.



In April, 1933, Tanzler removed Hoyos’ body from the mausoleum, carted it through the cemetery after dark on a toy wagon, and transported it to his home. He reportedly said that Elena’s spirit would come to him when he would sit by her grave and sing a Spanish song, he also says she would tell him to take her from the grave. Tanzler attached the corpse’s bones together with wire and coat hangers, and fitted the face with glass eyes. As the skin of the corpse decomposed, Tanzler replaced it with silk cloth soaked in wax and plaster of paris. As the hair fell out of the decomposing scalp, Tanzler fashioned a wig from Hoyos’ hair that had been collected by her mother and given to Tanzler not long after her burial in 1931. Tanzler filled the corpse’s abdominal and chest cavity with rags to keep the original form, dressed Hoyos’ remains in stockings, jewelry, and gloves, and kept the body in his bed. Tanzler also used copious amounts of perfume, disinfectants, and preserving agents, to mask the odor and forestall the effects of the corpse’s decomposition.

In October, 1940, Elena’s sister Florinda heard rumors of Tanzler sleeping with the disinterred body of her sister, and confronted Tanzler at his home, where Hoyos’ body was eventually discovered. Florinda notified the authorities, and Tanzler was arrested and detained. Tanzler was psychiatrically examined, and found mentally competent to stand trial on the charge of “wantonly and maliciously destroying a grave and removing a body without authorization.” After a preliminary hearing on October 9, 1940 at the Monroe County Courthouse in Key West, Tanzler was held to answer on the charge, but the case was eventually dropped and he was released, as the statute of limitations for the crime had expired.

Arguably the weirdest primate around (not counting humans, of course), the aye-aye has huge bat-like ears, crazy yellow eyes and, generally speaking, would not look out of place in a Gremlins remake. It actually inspired a Gremlin-like monster in the sci-fi series Primeval, where its proposed evolutionary descendant haunts an abandoned house. The aye aye is found in Madagascar and is greatly endangered due to habitat destruction; and the fact that people in that country are not very fond of the creature, for they consider it to be a bringer of disgrace.

An elderly man who appears to be in his mid to late seventies or eighties has been terrorizing banks in Southern California. Since August 28, 2009, the individual has committed 13 armed bank robberies. Currently, the FBI in California is asking for information leading to his arrest. The Geezer Bandit was featured on the television show Americas Most Wanted, in October of 2010. The man’s appearance is strange and, apparently, when entering the bank, he is not messing around. The Geezer Bandit is mobile and moves extremely well for his age. He has a strict agenda and flawless getaway when committing his crimes. The man enters the bank like a normal customer, approaches the teller with a leather case, and then draws a revolver from his bag.

The bandit then demands money by handing the teller a note. He does not speak. A witness gave information to Americas Most Wanted that one of his notes read, “Give me $50,000 or I will murder you.” In some of the Geezer Bandit’s early heists, he was reportedly seen wearing tubes connected to an oxygen cylinder. As you would expect from the Internet population, the man has gained a significant following of people who have started several Facebook pages showing support for him and his crime spree. News media outlets have reported that people are trying to capitalize on his fan base by marketing “Geezer Bandit” t-shirts, which show a printed picture from surveillance images of his robberies.

Even an apparent copycat of the criminal has made an appearance. However, the thief was not as careful in his getaway. The man ended up being arrested by the police. The officers later stated that they do not think he is the real Geezer Bandit. The FBI has claimed that they have information indicating that the criminal may not be an old man, just someone using a movie special effects mask, a master of disguise. He may not even be white, which makes the case tricky. The police interest in this theory increased in probability after a young Asian man was able to board a plane from Hong Kong to Canada wearing a mask of an elderly white male.

Sleep deprivation is rampant. A large proportion of the problem is due to the high paced lifestyle causing the lack of time to get the sleep we need. The other reason people are so sleep deprived is due to sleep disorders. Most people are unaware, as are most physicians. Sleep was not taught during their medical training.

Their beliefs were strengthened by the royal couple’s official visit to Vanuatu in 1974 when a few villagers had the opportunity to observe the prince from afar. Prince Philip was made aware of the religion and has exchanged gifts with its leaders and even visited them.
