The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating Tuesday's incident at Pinewood Studios in which a Bond 25 crew member sustained minor injuries.

A test explosion on Tuesday afternoon appears to have been rather more powerful than planned, with panels blown off the exterior of the 007 Stage. The crew members was apparently injured by falling debris.

In the UK it is usual for an incident of this type to attract the attention of the HSE. The knock on effect is that the 007 Stage cannot currently be used and, according to some reports, a night shoot planned for last night was postponed due to equipment being sealed in the soundstage until the HSE has authorised its removal.

While some outlets have reported filming has ground to a halt, the second unit has been filming in Norway. It is not known what impact this will have on the production.

Musk said Tuesday that it would be possible to create a functioning version of the vehicle though it would be difficult to do so. "Maybe we'll make one a show car at some point, that would be fun," he said. "I think the market for this would be small — small, but enthusiastic," he added.
#541
"I thought that was like the coolest thing I have seen in a movie," Musk said, adding that he also owns this car. He reportedly bought the Lotus for around $997,000 at an auction in London in 2013.

"It was amazing as a little kid in South Africa to watch James Bond in 'The Spy Who Loved Me' drive his Lotus Esprit off a pier, press a button and have it transform into a submarine underwater," he said in a statement in 2013.

"I was disappointed to learn that it can't actually transform. What I'm going to do is upgrade it with a Tesla electric powertrain and try to make it transform for real."
#542
A submarine car isn't totally out of the question for Tesla, Elon Musk says.

In response to a question about whether the company would ever look to develop an aquatic car during the company's annual shareholder's meeting on Tuesday, Musk chuckled and said: "Funny you should mention that...we do have a design for a submarine car like the one from 'The Spy Who Loved Me.'"

Musk was referring to the 1976 Lotus Esprit, which turned into an amphibious car and was driven on land and underwater in the 1977 James Bond film.
#543
Elon Musk told a group of shareholders on Tuesday that Tesla has the design for a
submarine car that is similar to the Lotus Esprit featured in James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me."

While it would be difficult to create an aquatic car, it's technically possible, Musk said.

Musk owns the 1976 Lotus Esprit which was featured in the 1977 movie, which starred Roger Moore.

Kevin Durant may never be the player he was after rupturing his Achilles and it was "a disaster" to allow him to play just 32 days after suffering a calf injury, according to a specialist.

Warriors star Durant confirmed on Instagram on Wednesday he had undergone successful surgery, having torn his Achilles in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Raptors earlier this week.

Elsewhere the production was put into 'total lockdown' and a crew member was injured after the incident at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire.

The explosion took part of the roof off and five wall panels of the huge complex and it was said to be 'utter chaos' in the moments after the blast.

It is unclear if filming for the as yet untitled movie is being suspended after the incident, and if so, for how long.

The official Twitter account for the 007 franchise confirmed the blasts, with a post that said: 'During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 today at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 Stage.

'There were no injuries on set, however one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury.'

He has reportedly received treatment from the same surgeon who treated Tottenham Hotspur and England star Harry Kane in New York City, but is thought to be 'furious' that he injured himself after months of gruelling preparation for the role.

Craig's operation will be followed by two weeks of rehabilitation, causing further delays to filming the movie, which is set for a 3 April cinematic release.

The official Twitter account for Bond 25 released a statement concerning Craig's injuries, posting: 'Daniel Craig will be undergoing minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica.

'Production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery. The film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020'.

The curse of Bond 25: String of bad luck that has hit filming
The recent Pinewood Studios blast is the latest mishap in a string of bad luck for the 25th film chronicling 007's adventures.

The first blow came when director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire) quit in August last year.

He argued with Daniel Craig over creative differences over casting for the lead villain.

Since then writing trouble has abounded as the screenplay is constantly re-written by director Cary Joji Fukunaga, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Craig himself.

In April, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson said at the film's launch that the blockbuster still doesn't have title.

And with less than a year until the release date, its leading man required surgery last month on his ankle after the star slipped while running.

The 51-year-old was filming on location in Jamaica at the time.

"You've got to be aware of them at all times," Raptors guard Kyle Lowry said. "It ain't just down the stretch. It's all game."

None of this would be possible if the Warriors weren't experts at creating screens and using ball movement to find them. Green and Iguodala are solid at this, whipping the ball around the perimeter until it finds the designated shooter, often wide open.

"You got to guard them, got to find them in transition," Raptors coach Nick Nurse said. "We've got to come up with a solution for that. They're excellent at pushing off to create space. Their screens are long and wide. So you've got to work doubly, triply hard sometimes. There's a lot of stuff going on and we need to do better."

Oracle Arena will be alive for another day before it dies. The crowd will be a mixture of nostalgic and desperate and sympathetic toward Durant. And this atmosphere will play in the favor of a team that hasn't been able to solve the Raptors at home.

Eventually, though, the ball is tossed and atmosphere can't decide a game, certainly not a championship. That comes down to Kawhi Leonard and Toronto's deep shooting and its defense and its ability to stay composed in the moment of truth.

For the Warriors? Easy. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Splash Brothers, better make it rain. If not, this dynasty is a wash.
#558
This whittles down to a pair of shooters who'll be constantly run off screens and thrown the ball and asked to be volume shooters and efficient shooters. And clutch shooters, if the game comes down to that.

And just because Curry and Thompson have done all of the above for much of their career, there's no guarantee they'll do that over the next game, or two.

"I think they rely on their experience," Livingston said. "They've been doing it for a while. There's no pressure being down, what, six points, two minutes left? At that point they've got 25, 30 points, so they take the shot. You trust them. They know they're getting the ball. That's just how we play, how they play."

It has become instinctive at this point for Curry and Thompson, given their knowledge of each other, their high level of comfortability and the trust they share.

"We just kind of go out there and play," said Thompson. "We're very in tune with each other being that we've played with each other for years. So when we hit the open man -- Steph doesn't stop moving. Same for me. So it just comes down to having the chemistry we do with the team and just playing that ball movement type of basketball. I know Steph has been doing it for 10 years with this organization, and me eight. So we know what it's like to take those, and we can live with the make or miss. It's just what it comes down to."

Curry and Thompson shot 27 threes in Game 5, which was a problem for Toronto. That means a majority of those shots came in rhythm and some uncontested; otherwise, there wouldn't be as many attempts.

#559
Curry and Thompson have been teammates eight seasons and enjoy prominent mention among the best backcourts ever. Their chemistry together is perhaps unmatched. Their shooting range is historic. Their shared history — 11 combined All-Star teams and three titles — is rich. And the task facing them is monstrous.

Toronto is a solid defensive team, especially around the perimeter, where Curry and Thompson thrive. The Raptors will surely shadow each player around the floor and willingly leave certain reluctant shooters, such as Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, wide open as if encouraging them to shoot. There's a reason for this strategy: Green and Iguodala have been awful from the outside in this series (a combined 9-of-35 from deep, with a majority of those shots uncontested) and haven't done anything to deserve Toronto's respect.

So, the Raptors will give them none, until and unless they prove worthy of it.

When Green and Iguodala shoot, the result is usually a miss, or a forced pass to another teammate, or a rash decision to attack the basket for a layup that is either successful or becomes an offensive foul or turnover. Essentially, there's more bad than good.

Elsewhere: DeMarcus Cousins has had three decent quarters in the entire series and otherwise is overcome by poor decisions, fouls and turnovers. Livingston isn't a deep threat, and so he can't stretch the floor. Kevon Looney is playing through pain. Quinn Cook goes hot and cold. And no one else is on the floor long enough to help.
#560
"Obviously, everyone feels horrible about what happened," Kerr said. "Kevin checked all the boxes and he was cleared by everyone involved. Now, would we go back and do it all over again? Damn right. But that's easy to say after the results ... our feeling was the worst thing that could happen was a re-injury of the calf. So the Achilles came as a complete shock."

Durant hasn't spoken to the media since the injury, and in his limited social media reaction both before and after surgery, he didn't point fingers. His mother, Wanda Durant, also dodged the issue of blame when she went on Good Morning America to discuss her son; her anger instead was directed at critics who initially questioned his injury and fans who cheered his re-injury.

Durant has shown support for his teammates almost immediately after he left the team. The relationship between Durant and the front office, on the other hand, remains murky, though not for long; it'll be revealed in a few weeks at the latest, when Durant reaches free agency and determines his future.

In the meantime, the fate of the Warriors hinges heavily on their ability to replace what Durant offered. And much of that burden falls on a backcourt that spooked the Raptors late in Game 5 and will be pressed to duplicate and triplicate that in the next two games, if the second one is necessary.
#561
So, a pattern has been established and a blueprint has been issued. Curry and Thompson must fight the double teams coming their way, and shoot with efficiency, and save enough energy for defense, and conserve enough wind to rescue the Warriors with big shots should the game be tight down the stretch ... and then do it all over again in a Game 7 if they're fortunate to get that far.

"They've done that since they've been here," Shaun Livingston said. "That's nothing to them."

These are tenuous times for the Warriors, who'll take a swirl of emotions into Game 6. Occupying a segment of their concentration is Durant, who underwent surgery Wednesday morning in New York for the Achilles he ruptured in Game 5. Durant is spoken about in somber terms within the organization, everyone realizing the sacrifice he made to return to action after a month off, and the risk he took with his body and by extension his future. The issue of basketball never comes up in conversation, meaning the Warriors are far more concerned with Durant's recovery than what they're missing with him off the floor.

There's also the controversial angle with Durant and what amount the Warriors were culpable, or not, regarding his injury. Two days after team president Bob Myers fought tears and accepted blame, coach Steve Kerr was the answer man Wednesday and tried to make sense of the entire ordeal.
#562

OAKLAND, Calif. — The official closing of Oracle Arena and the official haunting end to Kevin Durant's season normally would be enough to occupy anyone's deep thoughts in the Bay Area because both, in their own way, defined an era of Warriors basketball and became beloved.

Meanwhile, there's another game to be played in the NBA Finals, and another championship to be won.

And there's only one way to extend the former and accomplish the latter: Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson must be at their splashiest, or else.

The margin for error in this series for the Warriors is now as thin as their odds of capturing it. They're playing against a healthier team and a star who knows how to succeed in June. They've lost two straight at home to Toronto in the series and are 2-5 overall against the Raptors this season.

And aside from Curry and Thompson, who are averaging 57.4 points in The Finals, the Warriors are getting mixed results at best from a number of players who normally would be supportive, but aren't.

Rihanna at the Savage X Fenty lingerie show.
#565
In 2011, she chartered a yacht for $300,000 a week to take her around the French Riviera, and she's not afraid of an expensive night out. In 2013, she reportedly spent 8 grand in one night at a Miami strip club and on another night dropped $17,000 at a strip club in Houston with rapper Drake. Rihanna also enjoys dishes prepared by her personal chef, Debbie Solomon, and she reportedly spends $38,000 a week on her beauty regime, keeping a personal makeup artist, dermatologist, and lash technician on staff. So yeah, she enjoys living lavishly, but she also likes to give back.

In 2012, Rihanna established the Clara Lionel Foundation, named after her grandparents. The foundation aims to provide quality education and healthcare to children worldwide. She also hosts an annual Diamond Ball to benefit the foundation. Throughout the course of her career, Rihanna has become a highly influential global icon with her brands thriving and net worth growing. Who knows what she'll do next?
#566
In 2017, she partnered with LVMH to develop a cosmetic line called Fenty Beauty, which generated more than $550 million in its first year. It initially sold foundation shades but has since expanded to other products like lipstick, lip gloss, body glitter, and more. Rihanna holds an estimated 15% stake in the $3 billion company, and she teamed up with LVMH again in 2019 to launch Fenty, a new high-fashion house based in Paris. It's the first new fashion house LVMH has started since 1987, and Rihanna is not only the first woman of color to lead a major fashion house, she's also the youngest. Fenty debuted its spring line in May 2019, featuring strong shoulders and futuristic accessories starting at $400.

So with these deals and revenue streams pouring in, what does Rihanna do with all of her money? For one, Rihanna has proven to be quite the entrepreneur with smart investing. She reportedly put $34 million of her own money towards building Fenty with LVMH, and she also has a business eye in the real-estate market. She purchased a mansion in LA for $6.8 million and later listed it for $7.4 million. As for where she lives, she's currently in a seven-bedroom home in London where she pays rent for $20,363 a week, and when she travels, it's on private jets and yachts.
#567
Here's how Rihanna makes and spends her millions.

Rihanna got her start as a musician. She was discovered by an American record producer at age 15 and shortly thereafter was signed on by Jay-Z. Since then, she has had 14 No. 1 songs, and in 2016, made an estimated $22.3 million from her music alone, not to mention her world tours like "Diamonds," which generated a total of $137 million in revenue. But these days, most of her wealth comes from partnerships, campaigns, and endorsement deals, like the million-dollar partnership deal she made with Puma in 2014. Puma brought Rihanna on as its creative director, and sales rose by a reported 16% in the first six months.

Turns out everything Rihanna touches seemingly turns to gold. In fact, her fans are 3.7 times more likely to purchase products from her than any other celebrity, according to a study published in 2016. And that fan-based loyalty is worth tens of millions of dollars when it comes to her cosmetic and clothing lines. Rihanna's most profitable partnership is with the luxury conglomerate LVMH.
#568
Rihanna now has a net worth of $600 million, making her the world's wealthiest female musician.

She's made millions from music but most of her money comes from brand partnerships and her Fenty Beauty brand.

Rihanna most recently launched Fenty, a luxury fashion house with LVMH.

Rihanna is officially the wealthiest female musician in the world. With a fortune of $600 million, she's richer than Madonna, Celine Dion, and even Beyoncé. According to her label, Roc Nation, she has sold more than 60 million albums and 215 million digital tracks, making her the second-best-selling digital artist of all time. But all that wealth didn't just come from her music.

Principal photography on the 25th addition to the iconic Bond franchise has been beset with problems ever since cameras started rolling on location in Norway and Jamaica.

The long awaited film, which will be released in 2020, had already suffered a series of setbacks long before filming commenced, with director Danny Boyle initially signing up before leaving the project over disagreements regarding the 'radical' direction of his script.

Craig is said to have tweaked his ankle ligaments after falling during filming for a high-octane scene for his fifth outing as the Secret Service Agent.

#574
Daniel Craig was spotted at New York's JFK airport on Sunday following his ankle surgery

Craig headed back to London wearing boot cast and a pair of crutches.

He is expected to need two weeks of recovery before resuming filming.

Other cast members are shooting BOnd 25 scenes at Pinewood Studios this week and next, including Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas.

This year's Finals series isn't over yet. Golden State has been here before. Toronto has not. But the end is in sight.

"It's not a good feeling right now, obviously, but like you said, we have been on both sides of it," Curry said. "And for us, it's an opportunity for us to just flip this whole series on its head. It sounds cliche, and for us that's literally the only way we're going to get back in this series, is give everything we got for 48 minutes, everybody that sets foot on that floor in Game 5.

"In our locker room, we're talking about believing. Everybody out there believes that we can get this done. We got to. We can draw on those experiences that we had back in the day and see what happens."

Players and coaches will always say the right things after a tough loss. It's what they've been taught to do. Still, Friday night had a different feeling to it. The typical swagger of these Warriors was gone. The five-year run seemed to finally be wearing them down.

Oracle Arena may have just witnessed its final performance. That crowd walked out knowing Golden State's dynasty is on its last legs.
#588
Kerr and the Warriors have taken a few haymakers from the Raptors, and they don't seem to have a counter. It's hard to blame them.

Without Durant, with Thompson and Looney hurt, with DeMarcus Cousins playing at half speed, the Warriors don't have what it takes to beat a hungry and talented Raptors team. Depth will always be sacrificed when you amass the level of talent that Golden State possesses. You just don't expect the injuries to happen all at once.

Most great teams reach this point, and it often arrives without warning.

The 1980s Celtics and Lakers were stopped by the "Bad Boys" Pistons, and those Pistons then fell to Michael Jordan's Bulls. The early 2000s Lakers couldn't handle a toxic mix of personalities, and the 2004 Pistons outworked them. The Heat's "Big Three" of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh wilted because they didn't have enough juice to run it back for the fourth time, and the 2014 Spurs blew right past them with Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, who is on his way to the award once again with the Raptors.
#589
The Warriors looked dead tired. Curry's 43-minute, 47-point performance in Game 3 took its toll. He scored 27 points Friday but shot just 9-of-22 from the field and 2-of-9 from beyond the arc, hitting front rim on multiple deep attempts and missing his usual burst to the rim on drives. The intensity and defensive prowess from Draymond Green was seen but mainly in the first half.

"Oh, Draymond played so hard out there tonight," Kerr said when asked to compare Green's play in the first half to the final 24 minutes. "The first half, the intensity was incredible. Just to see the athleticism and the defensive energy by both teams. It was amazing. Draymond is always at the center of all that. One of the best defender's I've ever seen. He's flying around and doing his thing and covering everybody.

"And so, Draymond always makes a huge impact on the game. And I thought he did again tonight, but again, it was a group effort. And we didn't have enough as a group to win the game."
#590
Without the services of Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney in Game 3, Golden State really didn't stand a chance. Even with a superhuman effort from Stephen Curry, the Warriors simply didn't have enough bodies to compete with the Raptors.

The returns of Thompson and Looney for Game 4 meant the Warriors would get back on track, right? No, their heroic returns - Thompson scored a team-high 28 points in 42 minutes, and Looney added 10 points and six rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench - couldn't erase the physical, mental and emotional fatigue caused by five consecutive trips to the NBA Finals.

"Klay was amazing," Steve Kerr said after Game 4. "With a tweaked hamstring to do what he did. Looney as well, coming in and playing 20 minutes given his injury status. So, both these guys - they're warriors. No pun intended. They just compete, compete, compete. And I'm really proud of both of them. Both played really well.

"But again, it just wasn't enough in terms of our teams' effort."
#591
OAKLAND, Calif. - Oracle Arena started to empty earlier than usual.

As a surprising number of Raptors fans stuck around to celebrate their team being one win away from the franchise's first championship, the Warriors faithful left the building with the knowledge that this could have been Golden State's final game in its home of 48 years. Considering the ramifications, it was telling.

The Warriors' Game 3 loss brought about defiance. Draymond Green talked about winning three games in a row as if it was business as usual. (He said there were "fun times ahead.") The thought of losing two consecutive playoff games at Oracle was laughable. After Friday night's 105-92 loss to the Raptors, though, laughter had no chance of entering the fray.

The postgame comments came as expected. Taking it "one game at a time" was mentioned more than once. But there was a somberness that was palpable, and as the Warriors head back to Toronto down 3-1, you can't help but think this dynasty is coming to an end.

Game 4 had all the makings of a Golden State victory. At home in a soon-to-be vacant arena, key players returning, a history of overcoming 2-1 deficits - it made too much sense. But even the greatest of champions can't overcome so many obstacles.

10. Cloud Computing

Cloud computing refers to any storage or software that exists online and you don't need to download and install in on your computer. Essentially, when you're using your email, for example, you're using software and storage space that exists only on the Internet, also called "the cloud", and not actually downloading each email to your computer or smartphone.

You can access the cloud storage through your browser or via an app. But your email isn't the only instance of cloud computing. Many services, such as iCloud by Apple or Google Drive, you guessed it, by Google let you store your files, photos, and other media on virtual storage space and use online software to share or change these files.

Cloud computing is very convenient, as it allows you to access your data from multiple devices at the same time without sending it to that specific device. Apart from that, cloud computing lets multiple people from different corners of the Earth work on the same project simultaneously, which definitely enables collaboration on a whole new level.

9. Authentication and Encryption

When you're entering your email or login name and password to access your account on a site, you're going through a process called authentication. Some sites and apps also offer fingerprint scanners and face authentication. This process is made easy for the users, you, that is, but behind the scenes, it's a complex process that is aimed to protect your data and personal information.

This protection system is called encryption, and what it does is scrambles your data following complex mathematical patterns so that it's protected from eavesdroppers. Businesses and social media sites alike use encryption, and it makes sure your personal information and banking information is kept private and safe.

8. Spam Emails and Email Filters

Spam is a term that means unwanted emails, basically trash. Spam is annoying and often dangerous, and there are 2 main types of spam emails:1. Advertising.2. Emails sent out by hackers aiming to steal your passwords and personal data.

Most email services today have a filtering system that, for lack of another word, filters out any important emails you're getting from spam and puts all of these potentially useless emails into a folder titled something like 'spam', 'trash', etc.

The main problem with this filter system is that it's imperfect, and some important emails may sometimes end up in the spam folder, and, what's more dangerous, emails from hackers may appear in your incoming emails instead of the spam folder.

That's why it's always important to be wary of the emails you receive, even if they arrive from your bank or a person you know. For example, your bank or government officials should never ask for your bank details or social security number via email. If an email looks suspicious, don't click on any links it contains: this may endanger your personal information or passwords.
