we are planning to conduct a seminar on anti money laundering laws and its implementing rules and regulations in bohol this march 2010 pero wala pa mi venue. please help!

this seminar will be conducted as part of our government's drive to fight money laundering and terrorism financing.

Nong orencio bantol is a very good man.  He is a good friend of my father although we did not support him in his mayoralty bids.

My father made it clear that our family cannot leave the LIM family and he understood us though he was still hoping until election day that we would defect in his camp.  We did not. But the good thing is that they remain friends.

you might as well look into the infrastructure projects that have been in placed since the time of Dr. Conching, not just in the downtown area but also in the far flung barrios in the hinterlands.

on the allegation that conching is "mata pobre," it is usually because their family is ultra rich. even in valencia, people have this impression. but based on experience, dili baya. MATAHA lang jud ka kay dato man jud. and i think MATAHA is different from mata pobre.

cause even the most advance hospital in tagbilaran city is not the modern hospital we have in mind. liquid boholano families will rather seek treatment in cebu or in manila than in bohol.

Compared to the Dr. Conching branch of the Lim family, Dr. Guido's less visible in the church here in Valencia.

It is the family of Dr. Conching who is very generous to the church.  their donations may now be in the millions.

your lola's best friend is a different branch of the Lim family, dong. they don't support the family of Conching during elections. they are bitter rivals in business and politics though your lola's best friend's family no longer runs for office. they actively support whoever is in the other side of the political fence.

The latter one is impossible and impractical. Impossible since the two hospitals are owned by business and political rivals. Impractical because it would eliminate competition.

bugsay is right. both are tertiary hospitals accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Commission.

The hospital of Dr. Conching is known as Leona O. Lim Memorial Hospital in honor of their mother.  It boasts of daily visits of specialists of renowned practitioners from Cebu City.  Other members of Dr.Conching's family also work in the hospital, e.g., Drs. Bebe, Pauline and Ramos.

The other one (Dr. Lims' Clinic and Hospital) is owned by Dr. Conching's distant relative, Dr. Guido Lim. Dr. Guido's wife, Grace, is also a doctor by profession.  Dra. Grace is the patient-drawer of the hospital. Other members of the family also work in the hospital, e.g., Dr. Plinio, Dra. Grace's daughter in law, etc.

There is also a clinic owned by Dra. Edith Lim, a pediatrician. Her clinic is also popular in neighboring towns.  A long queue is usually seen outside their house which also serves as her clinic. Dra. Edith is a sister in law of Dr. Guido.
