Aguy!

I wish I attended a Philippine college. No one really wears skirts over here in the 'states.
#46402
Okay, I'm going to admit it.

There is a student in my molecular lab, she's a blonde, and a junior. Tall, long legged and when she asks me questions, she puffs her cheeks and her green eyes stare at me.

I have to control my shaking legs. Such a beautiful woman. Like a viking goddess.

:P
#46403
Yes, exactly my point.

Ah, I am so weak when it comes to that. LOL

Mao ba, Kiams?

Was it ever an option for girls to wear pants? Or skirts ra jud?

Question and Answer / Re: Introvert or Extrovert?
April 08, 2008, 05:27:01 AM
I'm a natural introvert.

Pero I will go out with friends.
#46406
Hmmm,

Come to think of it, the worst is when a woman licks her lips. Because I loose my train of thought if I see that.

:)
#46407
One subject that I didn't like in high school was: Family Planning Class.

The teacher made the men cook food, and the women in the class washed dishes.

Hahaha, my chocolate cake was burnt to a crisp. So my 'wife' in the class complained how I was a lousy husband-cook.

Hurt my feelings. :(

Haha, very bad very bad :P

I'm very bossy when it comes to working with others. I have very little patience for people who are slow at work, specially when I know I can complete a task by myself. And when it comes to concepts, I get irritated if my partners continue to ask the same questions over and over again. Inadequacy is a pet peeve of mine.

Bible Study / Re: Bible Study: Tubag Bohol Version
April 07, 2008, 03:38:57 PM
There is a particular psalm in the Book of Psalms that I truly love to read. It is Psalm 27; in times of need and whenever I find myself painfully in need of His presence, I always read it. The message in the psalm straightens my quivering hands, solidifies my back, and answers the questions that resound in my head. Whenever I find myself despairing or feeling bad due to an argument, I read this excerpt. It is so very comforting, and tells us to put our Trust in God.  :)

Psalm 27: Trust in God

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom do I fear?
The Lord is my life's refuge;
of whom am I afraid?
When evildoers come at me
to devour my flesh.
These my enemies and foes themselves stumble and fall.
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart does not fear;
Though war be waged against me,
even then do I trust.

One thing I ask of the Lord;
this I seek:
To dwell in the Lord's house
all the days of my life,
To gaze on the Lord's beauty,
to visit his temple.

For God will hide me in his shelter
in time of trouble,
Will conceal me in the cover of his tent;
and set me high upon a rock.
Even now my head is heald high
above my enemies on every side!
I will offer in his tent
sacrifices with the shouts of joy;
I will sing and chant praise to the Lord.

Hear my voice, Lord, when I call;
have mercy on me and answer me.
"Come" says my heart, "seek God's face."
your face, Lord, do I seek!

Do not Hide your face from me;
do not repel your servant in anger.
You are my help; do not cast me off;
do not foresake me, God, My Savior!
Even if my father, and mother foresake me,
the Lord will take me in.

Lord, show me your way;
lead me on a level path
because of my enemies.
Do not abandon me to the will of foes;
malicious and lying witnesses have arisen against me.
But I believe I shall enjoy the Lord's goodness
in the land of the living.

Wait for the Lord, take courage;
be stouthearted, wait for the Lord!

In fact, I'm rather worried that I'm graduating because I won't be able to look after her next year.

There are professors like that in college, 'te.

They abuse their tenure-ship. I know professors in the Biology department who had sexual relations with students in years past. I heard this not from students, but from assistant-professors and other Teacher's Assistants.

#46464
'te they say that the actions of people define them. I have even greater and deeper respect for you knowing what happened to you and that you chose your family over your exam. You are able to sacrifice what others cannot, 'te. You know that is very rare now-a-days. Your actions speak for you, 'te.

I offer you my endearing salute.

OT: The professor I had in philosophy 134 is the type that down-talks his students, 'te. The particular lecture we had was about American society and conservancy vs liberalism. He was attacking the pillars of conservatism such as family life, religious life, traditional morality etc. He attacked these pillars and called christianity as a "religious fantastical lie" to say the least. Very degrading. I was unable to sit myself and my soul forced me to stand up and argue with him in defense of conservative ideals.

If he expected me to crawl and beg to be a recluse, then dare say I disappointed him.  I was raised by a family and came from a region of the Philippines that did not just sit down but rose up to the occasion.

I agree with you, 'te. Most left handed folks that I know are extremely smart. It makes average students like myself humbled by their superior intelligence. My friend John Ross is left-handed and is a senior Physics major. When I took Theoretical Physics 1 and 2 with him 2 summers ago, i couldn't help but notice how fast he wrote his answers. And everytime, his answers were always correct. Whenever we were in physics lab working on quantum magnetism and ferromagnetic chain questions, he would always be the one to help me whenever I was stuck on base magnetics transduction. In our exams, I would be happy to even get a grade of 93 or higher, but whenever he had exams he would get either 100 or high 90s.

He is proceeding to a 5 year Ph.D program in Quantum Physics in Carnegie Mellon University.

A truly brilliant man. Helpful, and brilliant. I dare say so.

#46471
Pardon me if I offend anyone in here, but I may be what others call a traditionalist or conservative because I do not find things like this attractive.

What ever happened to original beauty of a woman? Woman is naturally beautiful. There is no need for make up, fake nails, eye liners, piercings, lip gloss etc.

Just be yourself. What God created is already perfect in the eyes of many, many men. Including myself.

#46472
I would suck up my pride and do what was necessary to pass the subject and graduate. What defines our character is not our triumphs and successes, but our failures. And our ability to rise from the failures in our lives. That is what it means to be a fighter, a leader, and a human being.

There is a particular saying that I have engraved in my desk as a reminder to me of life's challenges and our means to rise above the said challenges.
"Where are your scars?
Was there nothing worth fighting for?

Ever had that feeling cold-yet warm, Ms. Orchids? When we dipped our toes in the sand, our immediate reaction was digging deep due to the cold, yet at the same time it was warm due to the heat of the sun. It was so beautiful seeing the packed ice formed around the beach of the lake and being able to stand on it and enjoy the warmth of spring at the same time.

It was emotional for us, you know. Under the smiles and laughs, we all knew that we would be parting for our individual medical schools and law schools after graduation.

Some of us men cried after the day's end. I myself was not immune to the act. :)

This is extremely gross, I cannot understand why some people indulge in such an act. It is self destructive.

I can't help but notice her central lumbar and notice the red formations on her epidermal tissue as it is riddled with rings. It is the sign of infection and histamine activity in response of pathogenic activity around the opened epidermal layer--as a result of the piercing.

Self destructive.

Very romantic no? We were there in Presque Isle from 3pm all the way till 7 pm. The beach was so serene and quiet. I've never walked barefoot on sand and ice before, but I assure you its an exquisite feeling. Different but tantalizingly cool. haha

It was cold, but hot. You could actually see steam rising from the sand due to the cool temperature of the lake water and the heat trapped in the sand from solar rays.

I'm naturally a strong student in the hard sciences with almost perfect understanding in biology, chemistry, physics.
In mathematics, I'm pretty strong (a strong grip of theoretical calculus, linear algebra, statistics etc).

However, the subject that I find myself needing to 'study' in order to achieve an acceptable grade has always been: English

I took english in my sophomore year in college and the first paper I turned in was riddled with comments and corrections by Professor Helworth. I can strongly remember her saying, "I'm guessing your a Biology major?"

LoL

God Bless all the English and Literature majors out there!
You are truly gifted with the ability to write, and illustrate words.

I bow to you,
