An Italian artist missing for nearly two weeks while on a tour to promote peace has been found dead in Turkey, her Web site and Turkish media outlets reported Saturday.

Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, known as Pippa Bacca, was hitchhiking with a friend from Milan, Italy to Jerusalem dressed in wedding dresses as part of what they called "Brides on Tour."

She went missing March 31 while traveling through Turkey. The Italian and Turkish governments, along with Interpol, had been involved in the search for her, the Italian Foreign Ministry said.

Turkish station NTV and di Marineo's Web site said her body was found Friday night near the village of Gebze, on the eastern edges of Istanbul. The station said an autopsy was still under way and that di Marineo's body would be returned to Italy.

NTV said police had a suspect in the case who burned di Marineo's ID papers and had inserted his own SIM card into di Marineo's mobile phone.

Di Marineo's Web site said the suspect led police to the body, which was buried in a Forrest under a few centimeters of earth.

The Web site for di Marineo's project said it was her "dream" to hitchhike across the war-torn areas of the Balkans and Mediterranean dressed as a bride to promote peace.

"That's the only dress we'll carry along -- with all stains accumulated during the journey," she wrote.

The two planned to visit artists, craftsmen, museums, and youth clubs along the way.

French troops are holding six pirates after the 30-member crew of a luxury yacht hijacked a week ago off Somalia's coast were released, officials said Friday.
The French armed forces resolved the hostage-taking without incident, Sarkozy said in a statement that gave no details.

At a later news conference, the French military said it had captured six of the pirates who had left the ship and returned to the mainland.

The original group of pirates was believe to number between 12 and 16 people.

Sarkozy thanked the French army and other state officials who helped negotiate the release, and said he would again receive members of the hostages' families later Friday.

Pirates seized the 288-foot, three-masted yacht last Friday. No passengers were on board.

French authorities made contact with the pirates on Sunday and sent an elite intervention group to Djibouti, which borders Somalia, to reinforce negotiations, the French Foreign Ministry said.

Authorities also monitored the yacht's movements with a small Navy warship and reconnaissance aircraft, the ministry said.
The white yacht, named "Ponant," sails on luxury cruises around the Mediterranean, Red Sea, and Arabian Sea, according to its Web site. The vessel has 32 cabins and four decks, plus lounges, a bar, and a restaurant.

The Ponant -- which translates as "West" in French nautical usage -- is owned by the Marseille, France-based Compagnie des Iles du Ponant.

Twenty-two of the crew are French, Sarkozy's office said. Six were from the Philippines, AP reported.

World Daily News / New Prime Minister of Spain Rises
April 13, 2008, 02:18:13 AM

Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero was sworn in Saturday for a second term and announced a new Cabinet that includes many ministers from his last government. More than half are women.

Lawmakers had approved his reappointment as government leader on Friday, formally handing him the challenges of a slumping economy and resurgent Basque militants. He also will have to govern without an absolute majority in parliament.

Although Zapatero opted for continuity, he also created an Equality Ministry, headed by a woman, Bibiana Aido, 31. At his inaugural news conference, Zapatero said she is the youngest minister Spain has had.

He also created a new Science and Innovation Ministry, headed by renowned Basque molecular biologist Cristina Garmendia,

Nine of the ministers are women, and eight are men; when the prime minister is included, the Cabinet is equally divided by gender.

"I feel very proud that there are more women ministers than men," said Zapatero.

He reappointed Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega as deputy prime minister, a mainstay of his previous government.

Pedro Solbes continues to head finance, Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba remains interior minister, Miguel Angel Moratinos will remain head of foreign policy, and Mariano Fernandez Bermejo remains in charge of Justice.

For the first time, Spain's Defense Ministry will be led by a woman, Carme Chacon.

Zapatero, whose Socialists won a general election on March 9 but fell short of an absolute majority, did not get enough support in parliament to be voted in as prime minister in a first vote this week, forcing a second-round ballot in which the threshold for approval was lower.

At a ceremony Saturday before King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, Zapatero took his oath of office with his hand on an open copy of Spain's constitution.

In this once staunchly Roman Catholic country it is now possible for a government leader to choose between swearing an oath on the Bible or on the constitution, a symbol of how much has changed since the Fascist dictatorship of Gen. Francisco Franco, who ruled from 1939 to 1975.

Because his party failed to win an absolute majority, Zapatero will have to broker deals in parliament.

Among Zapatero's potential partners are two mainstream Catalan and Basque nationalist parties, each with its own political agenda.

Spain's economy, once the envy of Europe, having posted more than a decade of sustained growth, is cooling due mainly to a stall in the once-booming real estate sector and construction industry.

Can you help me find me one, Ate Ging?

There are so many Filipinas in California. Here in the east coast, I can't help but get depressed whenever I find out that there is a Filipina, but already taken by a white guy.

Argg!

Hahahaha, what a nice topping to his victory.

Brownman, homosexual activity was very rampant in Spanish culture. It was repressed during the religious epoch. Many of the conquistadores that conquored Latin America and the Philippines did not see women for years on end. Many eloped with their fellow men.

This subculture grew underground during the colonial era of the Spanish Empire. Hence, there is such a wide-array of homosexual activity throughout the Spanish World. This includes the Philippines, which was a colony for half a millenia.

I was curious about the Wadje family. So, I run a search about this family in India. I found that this family name still exists and flourishing in India. Not only that, they are brilliant and known internationally in the field or science and technology.

Here are some of them:
1. S.S. Wadje : Co-author of "New fragmentation pathways in the electron impact mass spectrometry of derivatized pyrano-1,3-diphenylprop-2-enones"
2. Rajendra Wadje : Lead Consultant at Headstrong
3. Mr. Sandip Wadje, Asst. Director - Software Technology Parks (Leading Software developer for Aviation and Aerospace).

They evolved into scientist, programmers, economist, etc.

Since one of our members here Grazie Zamora Pitoy and Joey Tabacco are probably descendants of the Wadje clan from Mangga, this explains where they have inherited their brilliance.

Macks, you give me a chill that you even think I am one of the decendants of the Wadje!  First, I got so flat nose! hahahaha  Bitaw, Macks.  The Zamora in our family is my great grandparents.  And yes, there are lots of brilliant Zamoras like Nerio Zamora and now the young NerZam aka Butchie but I am nowhere close.  But thank you for considering me as one!  Friends jud diay ta Macks! hehehehe

Ate Ging,

I think there is nothing to be ashamed and embarassed about the cute nose of a Filipina.

Natural beauty, me-thinks.

1. Death of Artemio Cruz, written by Carlos Fuentes

2. When the lieutenant colonel and the priest said goodbye at the portals of the church, Paez folded his hands over his stomach and watched his visitor walk away. The clear blue morning sharpened and seemed to draw closer the lines of the two volcanoes: the couple consisting of the sleeping woman and her solitary guardian. He squinted: he couldnt stand that bright light. He gave thanks as he observed the black clouds that would soon moisten the valley and extinguish the sun, as they did every afternoon with a punctual gray storm. He turned his back on the valley and returned to the shade of the convent.

3. This is the beginning of the internal tension of Don Artemio Cruz, and his eventual clash with Spanish loyalists in early 19th century Nueva Espana. This is the part where Artemio decides to follow the Acapulco ships into the distant shores of 'Filipinas Orientales .

I love how the book portrays the innocence of the Filipino, and accurate interpretation of Spanish officials, religious men and soldiers. You see the bad, the good, the neutral. One can immediately recognizes Don Artemio's sympathic view for the Filipino nativo, who is a Spanish Creole of present day Mexico, as he links the sufferings of the Filipino indios with the indios of Neuva Espana.

But he points out that there is a clear distinction between the two Indios. The Filipino is fierce, and does not submit so easily. That and the fact that Don Artemio falls for a native Filipina for a brief time.

There is this romantic tension between Artemio and the Filipina, almost a symbolic connection of Spain and Philippines. Artemio, wants the Filipina, just as Spain wants the Philippines. But in the end, the Filipina breaks away from the passions of Don Artemio.

The book, somehow, foreshadows historical discourse.

I just walked down the street to the coffee shop
had to take a break
I'd been by her side for eighteen hours straight
I saw a flower growing in the middle of the sidewalk
pushing up through the concrete
like it was planted right there for me to see
the flashin' lights, the honkin' horns
all seemed to fade away
in the shadow of that hospital at 5:08
I saw God today

Chorus:
I've been to church
I've read the book
I know He's here, but I don't look
near as often as I should
Yeah, I know I should
His fingerprints are everywhere
I'd just slow down to stop and stare
opened my eyes and man I swear
I saw God today

I saw a couple walking by they were holding hands
Man, she had that glow
yeah I couldn't help but notice she was starting to show
it stood there for a minute takin' the sky
lost in that sunset
a splash of amber melted in the shades of red

Chorus

I got my face pressed up against the nursery glass
She's sleeping like a rock
My name on her wrist wearing tiny pink socks
She's got my nose, she's got her mama's eyes
My brand new baby girl
She's a miracle
I saw God today

I just had a question about one particular excerpt in the bible that always puzzles me.
Why did Ramses II, Pharaoh of Egypt, charge towards the Hebrews when Moses set the plagues to Egypt? Why did Ramses charge when he, with his troops, witnessed the opening of the Red Sea as well as the creation of the Tornado of Fire?

Why did he do this?

Please, someone explain to me.

To my dad, yes, I amen-amen all the time. We don't 'hug' often. I only 'amen' mom whenever we go to church. I hug my mom alot :)

There are Pinoy families here that are like this, strikt and instill in their kids a cultural understanding of our Filipino roots. Then there are Filipino parents that want their kids to assimilate completely and not not teach their kids Tagalog or Bisaya.

Pero you know, even if they do that or not, when the kids go to college, they eventually want to know more, learn more of our culture.

I know that when I was in high school I really wasn't interested in Filipino culture as I was busy with schedules. But when I came to college, I wanted to know more about it. The same scenario speaks for other Fil-Am college kids. I think it is only natural that a person wants to know more about his or her culture. And when we do learn about it, we are amazed to how beautifully rich that culture is.

Alot of Americans love Filipino culture, Kiams.

We have a Filipino Awareness program here in college, and sometimes we bring in dances, songs, etc. Alot of American students like to know about Filipino culture, dances, martial arts. And it makes me smile how they refer to our culture as "so cool" or "beautiful", "exotic", "asian".

Jesus Christ was not a muslim, nor was he a christian.

Christ Jesus was a Jew.

There are specific references to this, namely,
Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham (Matt. 1:1)
-It is important to note that David was a selected King of the Jews, and Abraham was the one who was selected by teh Father; and was given an covenant with him. Abraham is the father of the Jewish people.

In addition, Yeshua was born King of the Jews (Matt. 2:2). The King of the Jews must Himself be Jewish (Deut. 17:15). His aunt Elizabeth was Jewish (a descendant of Aaron, Moses' brother) and His uncle Zacharia was a Jewish priest (Luke 1:5, 36). Yeshua was circumcised according to Jewish law (Luke 2:21, Lev. 12:2-3), and redeemed according to Jewish law (Luke 2:22-23, Num. 18:15). His mother atoned according to Jewish law (Luke 2:24, Lev. 12:6-8). He is called The Consolation of Israel (Luke 2:25) and The Glory of Thy People Israel (Luke 2:32). Jesus was born a Jew.

Quote from: salvation is free on April 11, 2008, 11:10:44 AM
By Rudan Alberto Matig-a

Wadje is no longer a popular name in Bohol. All of the people, or if not the majority don’t know or ignore the meaning of Wadje. I believe the place got its name from the families of Indians living in Wadje before, who populated the barrios of Manga, Taloto and Ubujan. The Penaflors, the Zamoras, the Matuods and the Tabacos who lived in Taloto, Manga and Ubujan probably came from Wadje before Tagbilaran became a full fledge municipality. The decision to change the name of Wadje to Nuestra Senora de la Paz is like burning a bridge that connects us to the past.

The brisk construction of churches and watch towers in Bohol were done in the 18th century when Moro slave raids were also rampant. My Lola Iya Awing told me a story that whenever the people of Panglao sighted a Moro vinta they will start a fire to signal the watch tower in Punta Cruz that the Moros are coming. I found out later that there are many watch towers in Bohol strategically located that fire signal in Punta Cruz can also be seen clearly in Cebu.

When the population of Tagbilaran grew in the first quarter of the 19th century the Spaniards and the mestizos transferred residences and built their stone houses in sitio Ubos because, during those times there was a way of life between the Spaniards/Mestizos and the native Tagbilaranons that were not compatible to each other. The natives lived a primitive way of life. The natives ate snakes, scorpions and locusts. They gathered larvae of beetles from dead coconut trees, honey from sweet ants [tam-is tam-is] and honey from honey bees for food. They hunted deers, wild pigs, wild chickens, wild cats, lizards like hao and ibid also for food. This way of life did not go well with the Spaniards and that unknowingly among the people a racial divide was created in Tagbilaran.

This racial divide from all indications did not happen only in Bohol but it happened all over the Philippines. It was not felt by all the people even until the second half of the 20th century. The discrimination that happened but we did not feel it is like this; in the 1960’s when you apply as a salesman with Coca-Cola, San Miguel or La Tondena, you cannot be accepted if you are not a Mestizo. If you fill up an application form for employment it is hard for you to be accepted if you are a Muslim or an Iglesia ni Cristo because you are asked what religion do you belong. The application form also says; “Come if you have a pleasing personality”. If you are ugly or “maot ug nawong” porbidang pataya di ka madawat sa trabaho.

Daghang salamat!

R.A. Matig-a

Very interesting read.

I enjoyed reading about the Hispanization of the Philippines on a local level, particularly my native Bohol.

Mr. Matig-a,

The intricacies of Hispanization isn't only limited to the Philippines. You should read the early reports of what happened in Latin America during the 17th-18th centuries.

Spain completely hispanicized that region, erasing most of the region's amer-indian cultural solidity.

The Philippines experienced only partial hispanization and was limited due to the shear distance of the islands. Additionally, the massive Spanish migration to the new world (latin and south america) was due to the incentives of riches in gold, ivory, spices, and fertile land for the growth of encomiendas (large farming estates).

The only reason why Spanish migration to the Philippines was limited was due to the percieved lack of resources in the islands. On the contrary, the Philippines was the destination and target of Hispanic Catholic Evangelization of the early 18th to late 19th centuries. The inquisition that took place in Spain in the 16th century was transferred to Nueva Espana and later arrived in the Philippines in the 18th century to combat the rampant paganistic superstition of the Malay natives.

Filipinas was a hive for christian activity, and after that foundation was acquired, hispanic migration manifested as a result of the Filipina-Hispana trade otherwise known as the "Acapulco Trade"

'Cuz they be all up in my business
Like a Wendy interview
But this is private
Between you and I

Touch my body
Put me on the floor
Wrestle me around
Play with me some more
Touch my body
Throw me on the bed
I just wanna make you feel
Like you never did.
Touch my body
Let me wrap my thighs
All around your waist
Just a little taste
Touch my body
Know you like my curves
Come on and give me what I deserve
And touch my body.

Boy you can put me on you
Like a brand new white tee
I'll hug your body tighter
Than my favorite jeans
I want you to caress me
Like a tropical breeze
And float away with you
In the Caribbean Sea

If there's a camera up in here
Then it's gonna leave with me
When I do (I do)
If there's a camera up in here

Then I'd best not catch this flick
On YouTube (YouTube)
'Cuz if you run your mouth and brag
About this secret rendezvous
I will hunt you down
'Cuz they be all up in my business
Like a Wendy interview
But this is private
Between you and I

Touch my body
Put me on the floor
Wrestle me around
Play with me some more
Touch my body
Throw me on the bed

Like you never did.
Touch my body
Let me wrap my thighs
All around your waist
Just a little taste
Touch my body
Know you like my curves
Come on and give me what I deserve
And touch my body.

I'm a treat you like a teddy bear
You won't wanna go nowhere
In the life of luxury
Baby just turn to me
You won't want for nothing boy(Nooo)
I will give you plenty joy

Touch my body
Put me on the floor (throw me on the floor) Wrestle me around
Play with me some more
Touch my body
Throw me on the bed
I just wanna make you feel Like you never did.
Touch my body

Let me wrap my thighs (let me wrap my thighs, around your waist for just a little taste)
All around your waist
Just a little taste
Touch my body

Know you like my curves (I know you like it)
Come on and give me what I deserve (Give me what I deserve babe)
And touch my body.

Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Oh yeah oh yeah (every little way you like to touch my body baby)
Touch my body (yeah Yeah ooh ooh baby... Oh Oh, ooh ooh baby)
Touch My Body (uh Uh ooh ooh ooh)

A photo, can say a thousand things
But it can't say the million things
I wanna say
A photo, can capture the way we were
But it can't capture the way we are
Cause you're far away

What it's like to know you
What it's like to touch you
Yeah

When you told me that you loved me
Were those just words?
You can't tell me you don't need me
And I know that hurts
Cause I'm looking at your picture
Cause it's all I got
Maybe one day, you and me will have
One more shot

Timing, lost minutes and moments
Yeah, I might be lonely, girl
But I'm not afraid
In a second, it all comes right back to me
No, nothing's forgotten now
Yeah, everything's saved

What it's like to touch you
What it's like to know you
Yeah

When you told me that you loved me
Were those just words?
You can't tell me you don't need me
And I know that hurts
Cause I'm looking at your picture
Cause it's all I've got
Maybe one day you and me will have
One more shot

You were my life
You were my faith
You gave me hope everyday

WHen you told me that you loved me
Were those just words
You can't tell me you don't need me
And I know that hurts
Cause I'm looking at your picture
Cause it's all I got
Maybe one day you and me will have
One more shot

8 years later
Time goes by fast
Got my memories
And they will last
I try to keep it simple
'cause I hate goodbyes
I try to keep it simple by
Telling myself that

I will remember you
And all of the things that we’ve gone through
There is so much I can say
The words get in the way
So were not together
I will remember you
I will remember… you

We’re a picture
In my mind
When I want to find you
I just close my eyes
You’ll never be that far from me
So don’t say goodbye 'cause
You’ll never be that far from me
I’m telling myself

I will remember you
And all of the things that we’ve gone through
There is so much I can say
The words get in the way
So were not together
I will remember you

You were there when I needed a friend
Thank you thank you
I never told you how much that meant
Gotta thank you thank you

I I will remember you
And all of the things that we’ve gone through
There is so much I can say
The words get in the way
So

I will remember you
And all of the things that we’ve gone through
There is so much I can say
The words get in the way
We’re not together
I will remember you
We’re not together
I will remember you

I will remember you

Hm,

I am attracted to the beauty of Mediterranean women. Spanish and Italian girls. Most of the girls that I've dated were part Spanish or part Italian. Not really into the excessive pale skin tone. The tan skin tone and the almond eyes are killers.

Gracious hips, and the legs. Ah yes,

The healthcare in the United States is almost stagnant, despite the rising population. This country, has over 305 million citizens yet is deficient in terms of nursing staff in its hospitals, the number of physicians-surgeons, and allied health workers.

As of right now, from my personal experiences in the hospital system and shadowing with surgeons, primary care physicians and talks with nursing staff, the country is in need of 116,000 RNS (registered nurses) to fill in the ranks of the aging nursing staff.

The amount of physicians available is also abhorrable. The United States also is in need of some 30,000-50,000 medical physicians. The rigidity of American medical schools is obvious as it is extremely hard to get into medical school here; that combined with the fact that the number of students graduated and trained are limited, as compared to the assymetrical rising population.

With these growth standards; in 20-30 years, this country will need about 75,000 physicians-surgeons to fill in the ranks.

Many will come from India, the Philippines, etc.

Diri sa ato wa pa jud hanaw mga tawo unsa ang Physical Therapy ug unsay trabaho sa Physical Therapist :(

Kasagaran nga PT's nabilin diri sa Pinas nga wa nakakitag employer sa US are into teaching jobs, call centers, med reps, working in massage parlors or Rehab volunteers (meaning no income).
Look at me, stuck in a four walled office!

Here in the 'states, there are not enough PTs, there is a lack of PTs, actually.

With the rising baby boomer generation and the aging American population, there is a considering need of Physical Therapists for nursing homes and hospital clinics.

It is said that within 10 years, the United States will be be in need of some 200,000 nurses and about 15-20,000 physical therapists.

As of now, the United States is importing physical therapists from abroad, namely:

India
Europe
the Philippines
Latin America

Though I love college and the experiences I had throughout the career, I cannot deny that I wish I was home at times. I was unable to see my little brothers aside from christmas vacation, spring break and summer time. I missed out in their  growing days. When I matriculated as a freshman in college, my little brother Don was 11, now he is turning 15. Andre was 5, now he is turning 9.

Ah, my little brothers. You have no idea how much your Kuya loves you. I wish I could tag them along with me. Ah,

A then-5 year old Andre, lol, i dont know where this was at.

A) What is Podiatry? A podiatrist?

Podiatry or podiatric medicine is a field of healthcare devoted to the study and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and the knee, leg and hip (collectively known as the lower extremity). The range of disorders podiatry can address largely depends on the scope of practice laid down in national, state, and/or provincial jurisdiction.

A podiatrist or foot doctor is a podiatric professional, a person devoted to the study and medical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower extremity. The term originated in the United States but has now become the accepted term in the English speaking world for all graduates of podiatric medical schools who have earned one of the following degrees: (D.P.M., D.P., B.Pod., Pod.B, or Pod.D.).

B) What is the scope of practice?

The differences in podiatric medical and surgical practice are determined by state law. Podiatrists are often defined as physicians in most States. Each state allows or limits the practice of podiatric medicine to the foot, ankle, and in many States, portions of the leg or related leg structures.

This may include surgery above the ankle and leg in 44 states. Most states require completion of a residency or a post-graduate training to practice. Most podiatric surgeons work in surgery centers or hospitals performing both medical and surgical treatments for patients. As in many other specialties, some podiatrists work in nursing homes and some perform house calls for patients. Podiatric patients range from newborns and infants to the geriatric.

Within the scope of practice, podiatrists are the experts at foot, ankle & related leg structures surgery. Some podiatrists have primarily surgical practices. Some specialists complete additional fellowship training in reconstruction of the foot, ankle and leg. Many podiatric surgeons specialize in minimally invasive percutaneous surgery. Most podiatrists utilize medical, orthopedic, biomechanical and surgical practices. Indeed, surgical podiatric principles rest on a base of orthopedic and kinesthetic knowledge.

C) How much do podiatrists make?

General Podiatrists make around $150,000 starting

Podiatric Surgeons make around $250,000-$300,000 starting.

A) What is Physical Therapy?

A health care profession concerned with prevention and management of movement disorders arising from conditions and diseases occurring throughout the lifespan. Physical therapy is performed by either a physical therapist (physiotherapist) or a physical therapist assistant (PTA) acting under the direction of a physical therapist. Despite this, various alternative health professions continue to employ the use of some physical therapeutic modalities in practice. A program of physical therapy will typically also involve a patient's caregivers.

B) How much do Physical Therapists make?

In the United States, after passing licensure, the median starting salary for PTs is around $65,000.
There is a wide range, many can make over $100,000.

The field is a growing one.

Two weeks ago, a friend cut it for me :)

Are you emotionally attached to someone?
#46182
I'm skeptical about ghosts, but I do get scared whenever I'm walking and all the lights turn off.

But there is an explanation for this tho. Its the Fight or Flight response of the body,
let me explain,

The prefrontal cortex of the brain is responsible for the interpretation of sensory information. There have been some signs that point to this area being responsible for a person learning fear responses. Presumably, all fear is based on sensory information gathered through experience. This would imply that, once a certain stimuli has been interpreted as an unwanted sensation, it causes the person to both subconsciously and actively avoid those sensations. While this does explain why people will avoid being caught in certain situations after having experienced them once before, this does not always equate to a person being afraid of said situation.

Fear and concepts of ghosts' etc could therefore be effects of overactivity of hormones and enzymes within the pre-fontal cortex that is effervesced during the fight or flight complex; the autonomous nervous system in full drive.

#46183
Another would have to be Ms. Centrone.

Ah, good times. :)

One incident is that when I was hanging out with my batch mates last weekend, some underclassmen asked us if we wanted to 'drink some beer' with them.

Yea. I immediately passed any interest. Instead, my friends and I went to the Woodcock damn 5 miles north of our college campus. We brought some supper snacks and a cask of amontillado dry wine.

Casual, and relaxed.

The British also only control regions that are Sunni occupied and have been already tamed.
The United States Armed Forces, all 150,000 of our men and women in Iraq, are responsible for offensive operations and defensive operations.

The problem in Iraq is that there is no visible enemy. Our troops are fighting ghosts and shadows.
Had there been any visible combat troops instead of guerilla warefare, they would have already been obliterated by aerial bombardment and ground invasion.

America is fighting an attrition war. That is the problem.
