Poems and Poets / I'm Sorry I Was Distant
April 26, 2009, 11:05:57 AM
To my beloved(s),

With utmost sincerity of mine heart
ye tho doest this heart sinneth and errerth many a time,
I did not nor was it in my intent to evade you.

I was studying for these past 2 weeks and when i study,
I have the tendency to stick to myself,
to focus on the course review and
sometimes, many will translate this as 'ignoring'
but, it is not.

It was not intentional.
Please forgive me if I seemed that way.
As you know, when it comes to studies and reviewing,
I am very selfish in that regard.

Forgive me for my repertoire.

If you cannot accept this apology, then I have no other recourse but to continue on.
I cannot afford to deal with dramatics.
I have no patience for such.

Respectfully,
A. Lorenzo Lucino Jr.

Lyrics

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

(Repeat two more times)

Holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy,
I want to see you

(Repeat five more times)

Mo ingoon ahong mahal na mahal Ginikans,

"Kami inyung mama ug papa mo trabaho kami duha kalingaw para sa among bata. Pa sakrifasyo kami para ma exposed kamo, among gigugmang anak, sa opportunidad. All we ask in return is for your undivided respect, and nothing but the best in your studies and work. Is that too much to ask for, Anak nako?"

It should be the responsiblity of the child/children to keep the house clean, so as to allow their beloved parents time to rest and peace at home from their busy work schedule.

Even if the Spaniard's eyes can capture attention, even if the German's blonde hair can sizzle a man's attention, even if an Irish woman's red hair and freckles can garnish exotic intrigue, these all pale in comparison to the Filipina.

Ang Pilipina's beautiful soft skin, tan and brown skin that invites attention. Her jet black hair that is so dominant, silky and fair, her almond shaped eyes that are so soft that it invites any man (irrelevant of race, ethnicity, religion, creed or color) to partake of her.

Just my list of beautiful Filipinas:

Marian Rivera

Roxanne Guinoo

I want to also cover the tactical precision of Empereur Napoleon du Bonaparte,

One reason I adore Napoleon's tactical ingenuity is because of his adoption and application of the theories of Jacques Antoine Hippolyte, Comte de Guibert. Which greatly facilitated and strengthened the French military capacity, namely the restoration of the conscriptory after the restoration of the monarchy.

In all of Napoleon's military battles, he won every single one. Except for the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.

When Wellington was asked who was the greatest general of all time, he opined, "In ages past, in the now and in ages future, Napoleon."

I lift up my eyes to the hills -- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
- Psalm 121:1-2

Internalization:

Since God could speak into existence the universe, and since God knows our names and the number of the hairs on our head ... surely we know that we can go to him for our help. Let's lift up our eyes and our hearts to El Shaddai, Lord God of the Mountains, and know the Almighty sees our needs, hears our requests, and cares about our hearts.

Our purpose is to glorify the Lord.
For all good works are product from His Mouth.
Man cannot live by bread alone, but by the Words that cometh from the mouth of God.

Our purpose is to accept the Lord's Will.
And seek HIS righteousness
And Abide by HIS Salvation

Bible Study / The Tribulations: An Internalization

It is with grave and dissapointment for me to think of the graces we all have been given by the Lord our God, all these notions of murders, suicides, genocides, hatred amongst one another, terrorism, as well as willingful use of starvation, theft, abuses of men and women, the vast instances o adulteries, destruction of homes, families, marriages.

It is evident to me that we, as a people, have truly strayed away frm the teachings of the Lord and in his primary will. Which was given to us as a people, written by the Hand of God Himself in the delivery of the Commandments to Moses.

Let us sit and read in contrite reflection f the message that Our Lord in Heaven gave to the Prophet Moses. To which is to be honored for time everlasting, until the ending of the Earth. Until the day of Judgment.

The Mouth Of The LORD our God PROCLAIMS:

2 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 You shall have no other gods before me.

4 You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

6 but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

8 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,

10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.

11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

13 You shall not murder.

14 You shall not commit adultery.

15 You shall not steal.

16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house.  You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

(Exodus 20:2-17)

As I said earlier, the importance of cavalry auxiliary is undebatable. In this scenario, I am playing as the SPQR Romans and my opponent is playing as the Carthaginians.

In this particular scenario, both of us wanted to see the capability of a Roman artillery force against an opponent with full heavy cavalry squadrons.

Before we started this game, I knew that there would be little chance that I would be able to route the enemy's cavalry shock force, I merely wanted to see how long I was able to hold them back (or not, as was the case). Even with Roman Triirii, Roman spearmen behind my ballistas, the oncoming full charge of Carthage's heavy cavalry was decisively swift.

His horses ran down my infantry like grass, as was colloquially said by an English commander in the Battle of Hastings.

The moral of the story and tactical maxim: Protect your flanks, and never go into battle without proper auxiliary attachments.

A lesson hard learned.  :)

"My sheep recognize my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish." - John 10:27-28 NLT

Hearing His voice

As our Good Shepherd, Jesus promises that we can hear and know His voice. This does not, however, have to be some mysterious, mystical process. In fact, you may be surprised to learn that God speaks to you quite often. I would venture to say He has spoken to you lately and may be speaking to you right now in some way.

God speaks to us through His Word. God will never lead us contrary to His written Word. It is our litmus test, our bedrock, our absolute.

God speaks to us through circumstances. Those circumstances can include failure. Jonah certainly heard God through his mistake. God may even speak to us through tragedy or hardship. C. S. Lewis wrote that, "God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains. It is His megaphone to arouse a deaf world."

God speaks to us through His peace. When we live in God's will, we enjoy His peace. Do you need God to make a crucial call in your life? Then listen for His peace.

And once we have heard God's voice, what should we do? We must follow. Jesus calls, we respond. He whispers, we move. We followâ€"and then we keep on listening.

Adapted from Breakfast with Jesus by Greg Laurie (Tyndale House) pp 243-45

We are given the answer in I John 2:6,
"He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked."

We are told by Christ Jesus to follow the law that the prophets mandated by the Will of the Most High. Many people simply forget the Old Testament, or the laws of God that the prophets of the Old Testament reiterated. Many people make the grave mistake of thinking that it is unecessary to follow those rules and evade those laws, but Christ Jesus HIMself denies that he came to destroy the law. Rather he came to fulfill it.

Remember,

Think not that I come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you , Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

-Mathew 5:17-19.

Sure, Manay, thats good that the quak doctors fixed you up :)

Again, the arm is not the neurological system. The reason why I am forwarding the recommendation from Dr. Frank Cooper, who is a NYU-trained neurosurgoen and professor Surgical neuronatomy, is because Mel will be going to Manila.

Where she will have access to MRI or CT scan machines.

:)

Great analysis, Vito.

'Ayaw' or 'Ajaw'

'Niya' or 'Nija'

'Siya' or 'Sija'

Interested lang ko, what part of Bohol sound like they are singing when they talk?
Id love to hear them jud.
#38927
Manay, I can understand if people go to quak doctors for neck pains, foot pains, arm pains, even spiritual pains (at the discretion of the patient, of course).

Ive heard such things before, doing prayers and rubbing etc etc.

Sure, it might even help in the vasodilation of muscles, etc. But when it comes to something neurologically related, directly, as in the case of the spinal cord, there is no excuse or replacement for proper medical treatment.

My conscience cannot and will not allow me to let that stand. In cases of patients that have such symptoms, it usually is indicative of either some kind of lesion or mass growth in the pain sensors in the associated hypothalamus, or some kind of inflammation of afferent sensory receptors in her posterolateral region.

We don't know. We can only infer and make a proper diagnosis after results of MRI and CT scan, which will allow the physician to give her a proper and hopefully positive prognosis.

Bran Lorenzo
#38928
Germany has a socialized medical system, Manay. That is why you wait 3 months. In the United States, you can have a CT or MRI within hours after request from a family practicioner and or neurologist.

The same in the Philippines, which does not have a socialized medicine.

Again, herbal medicine will not cure or alleviate something that is neuroanatomically linked. Rubbing the back etc will not help, her, as she had already mechanical chiropractics utilized on her, on the contrary, continuing to do so would even as so much as bruise and further damage lesions in the spinothalamic and spinocerebellar pathways, which can cause contralateral as well as ipsilateral hemiparesis.

That is paralysis (same side or opposite sided, or bilateral globalized).

In dealing with neurologic or spino-neurologic conditions, which she is experiencing, it is prudent to have proper medical treatment.

I think it is safe to place trust on the recommendation of a Neurosurgeon over a quak doctor.

Lorenzo
#38929
There is no treatment for any disease aside from hard medicine.
In instances of quak doctors and the lot, those are all psychological.

Considering she is suffering a chronic pain, it is suggestive of global neuritis as the symptoms dictates it. Recurrent rubbing pain in said appendages indicates that there is some kind of pathology in the neuroanatomical structure, which only through MRI and CT scan can elucidate. Either it be a lesion, brusing, etc.

It is very unwise to forgo proper medical treatment for herbal homeopathic.

Again, I asked in your behalf, Mel. Good luck.

Respectfully,
Bran Lorenzo

Bible Study / Re: Internalizing the Proverbs
April 25, 2009, 02:17:26 PM
A reading of Proverbs Chapter 3 verses 25 to 34.

This is entitled, "Attitude Toward Fellow Men"

Be not afraid of sudden terror,
of the ruin of the wicked when it comes;
For the Lord will e your confidence,
and will keep your foot form the snare.

Refuse no one the good on which he has a claim
when it is your power to do it for him.
Say not to your neighbor, "Go and come again, tomorrow I will give,"
when you can give at once.

Plot no evil against your neighbor,
agians thim who lives at peace with you.
Quarrel not with a man without cause,
with one who has done you no harm.

Envy not the lawless man
and choose none of his ways;
To the LORD the perverse man is an
Abomination,
but with the upright is his friendship.

The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked,
but the dwelling of the just he blesses;
when he is dealing with the arrogant,
he is stern,
but to the humble he shows kindness.

The words in this particular excerpt in scripture speaks truth, particularly when it concerns people who are antagonistic to you, count not their actions, but instead of paying their transgressions with transgression, let their actions end with them.

For the Lord tells us that he will repay those who are wicked to you, so let us remember that prayer is the best hope. Pray for those who talk ill about us, pray for their souls, and their own peace of mind, because they need it.

Be kind to them, and understanding and stern in view. For the Lord will bless you and your homes, at the sake of the wicked.

Be humble, and He will show you loving kindness.

A feeling of a kind of liberation where one feels so light, no more cares, no worries. But unfortunetely, it seems it wasn't my time because no matter how hard I tried to reach this being that was surrounded by a beautiful light I could not reach him until he turned around and gently, yet vividly said to me, "Go back, it is not yet your time...". I woke up four days later already in a private room feeling very thirsty. I guess, I miss that wonderful feeling... but unfortunately, I don't know if there's something else better for me or am I just being punished for my sinfulness by letting me live the HELL that is on EARTH...

By the way BAI Datu Dagohoy, maka-piang gyud ning ininglisan nimo... Mas lami pa og imong gi ing-ani. "Why Are People Usually Afraid of Death?" or "Why are people afraid of dying?" or "Why does the idea of death scare people?" The are other ways of composing it. Okey na unta to ang arrangement sa first 3 words pero natikay-ang ko pag abot sa "Afraid To die". Okey ra buwagon pero og sumpayon ang duha ...tongewngewngewngew... lorrl ;D ;D ;D

Interesting analysis, ZecurB.

Interesting jud. :)

Quote from: benelynne on April 25, 2009, 09:48:49 AM
Suicide from bullying among elementary and junior high school kids became almost like epidemic in Japan a few years ago, which really got me worried as well because kids usually target those who look different.

I thought there would be none of this in the Philippines, but I was wrong. I think our mass education system even in private schools just cannot deal with individual concerns such as bullying. My son, who is more interested in soccer than in girls at the moment, has also complained about being teased , "b***t" on top of his inadequacy in English and Filipino, being a returnee.

This year, I decided to put my two teenagers through a special program of individualized instruction with acceleration. From my experience in Japan, parents cannot take lightly the children's report of bullying

This is unfortunate to hear that such things happen in Japan as well, Mr. Benne.

My younger brothers were target of bullying as well in their younger years, it was one of the reasons why my parents enrolled them into Tae Kwon Do. Suffice to say, that both of them are able to carry themselves and hold their own ground, in case of an incident.

In the 7th grade, a school bully tried harassing my younger brother, Don Rico, but before the bully could even touch Don, he had already leveled him to the ground with a mere round house kick. The bully never messed with Don again.

Its also important for parents to address bullying situations, and confront the teachers of this endemic. Sometimes, ruthless behavior is too much for some of our youth. The parents should also take responsibility in checking up on the kids, and not just leave them alone.

This suicide was preventable. Such a waste of life and possible potential.

Mel,

I talked to my surgical neuroanatomy professor, he is also a licensed Neurosurgeon btw, and asked him about your condition.

Recommendation kono nija is that you see a Neurologist, and ask to get an MRI or CT Scan, both if possible.

Thinking about it in retrospect, its amazing how medicine has progressed in the last 3-4 decades. In my childhood of my grandfather, there was no such thing as hospital-based circumcision. My lolo's father circumcised him. my great lolo had my lolo ciano take some kind of balibas and chew it, then was told to look away. My lolo was circumcised with a sharp sundang, after the cut, he took the balibas out of his mouth and placed it on the wound.

Then went to the dagat to swim it off.

Simple, herbal.

The NaCl (salt) of the water has strong ph, that kills bacteria and allows the wound to heal fast.

sakit! did they use scalpel, 'te? or did they use a german cut?

The pediatrician that circumcised used a german style cut on me as a child. Even with the analgesic, I could still feel the pain. The worst was when he was sewing it.

Its better they put the child to sleep than let him experience the pain.

Lets begin another discussion, more so on the topic of repentance.

The following questions are multi-layered. But do think about it, and give your best answer. Provide scriptural reference, as well as provide your own personal interpretation, if you want to.

1. What does repentance require?

2. What four sins (transgressions) was Isaiah talking about ?

3. Who do you think this person was that Daniel saw in the vision ?

4. How does David's attitude compare to the attitude of God's people in Isaiah's day?

5. What are four benefits of repentance?

6. Do you have a repentant heart? Do you want one?

My cousin who took up nursing, toa sila i assign sa public hospitals.. grabe jud daw ila hands on experience.. with patients from different walks of life..  u know..

so i won't wonder nganu chicken nalang kaayu sa states :)

completo gud ug mga gamit..

The medical schools and nursing schools in the Philippines are second to none.
My mom graduated from CIM nursing and the kinds of things they were exposed to, the nursing students in the 'states aren't even exposed to.

Some nursing students/ nurses in the Phils are even doing surgery, and or delivering babies by themselves.

My mom served as a municipal Public Nurse in Valencia for 2 years and she was sent to the barangays to deliver children, sometimes galing, there were no doctors to deliver, the nurse had to deliver, minor surgery etc.

That is why when the Filipino nurse comes to the 'states, she or he outperforms the American-trained nurse. Because they were already exposed to cases that we dont have in the 'states.

Cases like Kwashiorkor, Cushing's Disease, Addison's Disease, Elephantitis, Malaria, Dengue etc (all these kinds of diseases don't exist in the 'states or canada).

That is the thing we are still planning 'te, mostly man ni medical check ups, history taking, wound care. We are also collaborating with a local dental school and they are providing basic oral check up. We are now going to have spring break, so we are tryin to bring some supplies back for the health fare.

The school is providing basic equipment: stets, bmi machines, tents, drinks, but we are asked to bring back gloves, coats, bandages, ethanol, iodine, masks, candy, fruits, lolly pops, drinks (for the people who will be waiting).

I think they are trying to plan something child-oriented for the kids that will come with parents. But that is to be planned still. Our health fair will start June-July time line.

Instead of going back home for spring break, I'm taking summer classes to learn phlebotomy and EKG class.

In Retrospect

Today is 4:14 PM, the 24th of April, the year of our Lord 2009.

Before I say anything or utter anything, let me make it known that the Lord God is truly great, and that all good things, good news, and abounding love comes from His Hands. That all glories, honors, and praises belongs to Him, and to Him Alone.

I just want to let it out! I am relieved!

Today we finished our last final examinations, for Medical Biochemistry and Surgical Neuroanatomy. As of 2PM this afternoon I am finished with 1st year Medicine.

Looking at the time I first arrived and moved to campus in early August, to the beginning of class in August till now, I have never been so stressed or time constrained in my life. College Undergraduate does not even compare to the incredible stress and limited time we have and are put under in medical school, especially 1st year Medicine.

Medical Gross Anatomy, Medical Legal Ethics, Medical Embryology, and Histology in 1st semester.
2nd semester we had Surgical Neuroanatomy (the most hardest, yet the most interesting class ive ever taken, so far), Medical Biochemistry, Genetics and Development, and Physiology of Human Body. Finished.

I have such a strong, strong feeling of relief. I think Ive developed over 50 grey hairs just on this year alone, lol! Perhaps I should buy a hair dye soon, hahaha joke! :P

I could not have survived this, or accomplished this without the help of the LORD GOD.

He who strengthened me in the hours of the night, when I thought i could learn no more.

Hard work, and sacrifice, though painful, really works. It is definitely worth the effort.

Yes, I will admit that I am VERY nervous and scared for 2nd year. Just because the fact that we'll be taking more clinical-related courses, and it inches us forward to taking the USMLE Step 1, the step 1 of the Medical Boards. Am I expecting anything different? I expect to maintain the average and simple scores I have attained this semester, with the grace of ALMIGHTY GOD be it HIS will, and to continue my average pace.

What I've learned this year is the importance of study groups, medical review sessions, and the importance of sleep. Never again will I try to not sleep for 4 straight days. As its destructive. Even if 3-4 hours ra ang sleep, better 3-4 hours than nothing at all.

To God be the GLORY!

I am so excited for next semester. We received news that those of us who were accepted into AMSA (American Medical Students Association) will take part in the annual Medical Fair Mission, where open our campus to free medical check ups to underpriviledged people, and community.

Excited ko. They asked us to bring back BMI machines, gloves, vitamins, patches, BP machine, XRAY machine etc. etc.

Excited kaayo ko with my batch mates. Because the 2nd and 3rd years will take priority. Next semester, will begin our 2nd year of Medicine.

At the same time I can't help but feel nervous because we will not only be expected to make diagnosis, but prognosis as well and recommendation on drug therapy. the 4th years will supervise, and the medical instructors will come by from time to time to check up.

I'm taking a summer review course to teach about EKG training ug phlebotomy diagnostics, as we will be expected to perform blood analysis as well next sem.

I feel like a child in a toy store.

Look closely at this Buddhist temple in Khun Han, Thailand. Notice anything unusual? It's constructed of thousands of beer bottles. Buddhist monks used the discarded bottles to build the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple, also called the "Temple of a Million Bottles."

The green facade provides the temple an aesthetic character.

The green stream isn't due to the green tiling, the dark green water is due to eutrophication, a direct result of excessive nitrogen to phosphorus ratio. A result of uncontrolled nutrient loading.

Have you ever seen a full moon when the sky is clear?

I went with a group of collegiate christian soujourners before to Woodcock Dam before, we brought our bibles and just read psalm verses, each person take turn after turn. We brought our flashlights, and our carry on-light lamps.

Words cannot describe the beautiful feeling.

You could feel the Holy Spirit. :)

Our Heavenly Father is so great, that He is so resilient and faithful on us, though we make recompense and sins abound. His resiliency in His belief for us remains unchanged.

With hands wide open. All we have to do is merely call HIM, ask HIM, and the goodness of the LORD will surely rescue us. Comfort us when no living thing can do.

In times of trouble, it helps to read the beautiful verses of PSALM 139.
When I read it, whenever I am feeling down or lonely, I can feel the LORD's spirit around me :)

PSALM 139: 1-12

O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.

7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.

God Bless you all.
And never loose your faith.
When you think you're alone, all by yourself,
That is when The LORD is so close to you.
Just call on HIM, ask HIM to be with you,
And HE will guide you. Like a Loving Dad.

A friend of mine, God Bless Her, once was worried because of an argument she had with her other friend. She's a spiritual girl, God Bless her, and she worries much about karma and what not.

I told her straight to her face;

Instead of putting so much concern in karma and bad luck, put faith doubly in the righteousness and goodness of the LORD. For who made the voices of men, the deaf, the hearing and the BLIND! Who made the the hairs of your head? Did karma? Who made your face, your foot, your brain, your intelligent capacity? Did karma? spirits?
NO! God ONLY. "

I really do not like it when people put so much concern in notions of karma and gaba-an-gaba-an. etc.

There is no such thing. All of that is superstitions BS. Imho.
All these notions of spiritual mediums and divinations! If you believe in such BS, you will only be affected by it. And all of those are by the DEVIL! May the LORD GOD REBUKE him!!!

Please all remember scripture DENOUNCES divination, and superstition!
"For there is no omen against Jacob, Nor is there any divination against Israel; At the proper time it shall be said to Jacob And to Israel, what God has done!"
-Numbers 23:23

and!

Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Therefore, we see that the concept of reincarnation and karma is incompatible with what the Bible teaches about life, death, and the sowing and reaping of eternal life.

Dear brothers and sisters, please remember that Karma is a buddhist/hindu philosophy. If you believe in that, you believe in their spiritula deities/heathen gods.

THERE IS NO SALVATION IN THIS EARTH, aside from CHRIST JESUS!

:)

The LORD my GOD.

I merely ask for His guiding hand, and my ways are set before me.
Even if the task is great, I can feel His presence before me.

There is no superstition, no notion of karma or notion of grudge that can affect me because I do not believe in those trifles.

I only believe in THE LORD GOD.
In his mighty power, and in His glory.
For who can challenge the power and anointed hand of the Most High?

No one.

God First. God ONLY.

In the 1st century BC, Julius Caesar was captured by pirates. They refused to release him at first, as he was a mere trifling Roman.

Caesar said with blunt authority, "Release me. When I am free of this, I will crucify every single one of you."

Caesar was released, ultimately. And he did keep his promise. He had the pirates crucified. Every single one of them.

Tactical Lesson: Don't underestimate your enemy. As you'll never know his true potential. Be prudent in hearing, and vision.
