Poems and Poets / To The Thawing Wind
August 20, 2009, 08:55:45 AM
by Robert Frost

Come with rain. O loud Southwester!
Bring the singer, bring the nester;
Give the buried flower a dream;
make the settled snowbank steam;
Find the brown beneath the white;
But whate'er you do tonight,
bath my window, make it flow,
Melt it as the ice will go;
Melt the glass and leave the sticks
Like a hermit's crucifix;
Burst into my narrow stall;
Swing the picture on the wall;
Run the rattling pages o'er;
Scatter poems on the floor;
Turn the poet out of door.

Poems and Poets / The Road Not Taken
August 20, 2009, 08:54:20 AM
by Robert Frost,

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and Iâ€"
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Its good to know that healing has already begun in this process.

Thanks for your strong interest, Priscilla.

Same as how we, Filipinos, don't want westerners to generalize Filipina women and Filipino men, we should also share that idea when regarding other peoples.

Yea, the traditional ones definately.

But you have to know that Indians are a multicultural pot. Different ethnicities, languages, races, languages, religions all under one nation: Mother India.

You have the Assamese and Nagas of North eastern India that are more akin to Burmese, Chinese and other Mongoloids, then you have the Bangalarum of West Bengal who are more of a mixture of Dravedic and Mongol. Then if you go north of India, there are the Punjabs and the Kashmiri, who are more Caucasian in phenotype; more akin to the Indo-Aryan beauty of Persia. Then if you go to the southern tip of India, of Malayalaam and Tamil Nadu, there are the dark skinned Dravedic peoples, the original Indians. Or if you want to go central plains of Uttar Predesh, a more mixed bunch.

Indians vary in appearance, language and looks. A nation of over 1.1 billion people.

The nation boasts having Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, Jews, etc all under one nation. --> Hindustan or otherwise known as India.

The more modern Indians ; more liberal and open to new trends are the Christian Indians. Even the Muslim Indians.

The more conservative and religious are the Hindu Indians. Especially the ones that are more in line with their Caste System.

Here in the United States of America, the Desis (slang for Indians) are more modernized, open minded. They keep their culture but have assimilated into the Western Society that is America.

So, not all Indians 'don't shave'.

Its impossible to generalize a people that numbers over 1.1 billion.

mao lagi, ang mga pinoy kai conservative man gud ta; especially atong taste. Gusto ra podo ta ug Pinoy food.

Everytime we go out as a family, my parents only go to Chinese or Japanese Restaurants or sometimes Italian pero mao ra jud na. Dili sila mo try out sa gawas --if they do very rare ra jud.

My sister did tell me that just recently they went to an Indian restaurant close to our town. My siblings loved the food, and my parents liked it as well. Pero this is probably the rare instances of them trying anything outside the norm, hahaha!

Mo ingoon pa ahong daddy , "Ngano gusto man mo mo kaon sa gawas, mahal man ug mo kaon sa gawas. Mo luto na lang ta sa balay, mas lami pa ug dili mahal."

hahahaha!

---

On a serious note tho, the owners need to invest in advertisement techniques. Hope this restaurant stays afloat.

Yes Indians are called "Bombay" by Filipinos. It's either because of Mumbai, formerly called Bombay - the capital of the Indian State of Maharashtra or just because they are spicy like onions (commonly called here in Pinas as bombay)

Oh man, Mari, of all the flowers of India, I must admit the Punjabi girls are the most sublime and aromatic.

Mari, you're a fan of Curry food eh?

Any curry-dishes is exotic to the taste; even the Malaysian/Indonesia Goreng Karee is pretty exquisite.

Its a mix between Adobo and Care Care, though with more curry and more peppers.

Filipino dishes are more akin to Spanish/Latin dishes, imho.

Ours is a Europeanized version of the Asian dishes. lol.

Ma suko kai innocent gud atong Amigo. To circulate lies and use it as fodder for laughter of the wicked hearts of many is, in my opinion, beneath any character.

Beautiful message, Buwad.

My eyes bled tears in reading about the life and death of Simon Peter "Cephas" (The Rock).

When he was about to be crucified, he requested he be crucified upside down, as The Blessed Peter voiced out, "I am not worth to die in the same manner as THE LORD. Let me be crucified upside down."

And so the Romans crucified him according to his request.

Peter suffered a longer death...

God Bless Saint Peter.

Tubag Bohol will forever remain a virtual forum of respected, credible PROFESSIONALS not hoodlums and irresponsible demogagoues.

I pray and trust that it will remain as it has always been.

Michael and others,

Ang lesson ani is this:

DO NOT EVER TRUST ANYONE.

Guard your secrets to yourself, especially important information.
As for me, I only trust a select few, mostly family and close friends.

The lesson ani, is that there are others who are wolves in sheeps clothing.
The will come close to you, act nice to you, for the benefit of getting close to you, but will backstab you and betray you at the MOMENT they have the chance to do so.

Betrayers. Liars. Discord initiators.

Beware of individuals like that. May the LORD GOD REBUKE them.

I will make this known that anyone who ever initiates such actions that hurt or personally degrades anyone will be BANNED from this site.

I will not tolerate this.

Suko ko ani. Suko ko of the deception of others.

#36425
I cannot stand the fact that some of these individuals play it so 'smoothley' and act like we don't know who they are.

It enrages me to think that this one person spread this about and told other people.

Ngano mo chissmiss man jud ka ana?
Wa ba ka buot?
Dili baja ka tiguwang?
Di baja ka adult?

Aha man imung responsibilidad?
Wa na jud ka yamo ug credibilidad.

Wa jud ko yamo respect para nimo na.

I have forgiven you.
But I will NEVER trust you again.

Wa na jud na.
It is gone.

Di jud ko maka kalimut ani.

Bastos pood kang tawhana.

Great message Brown.

It breaks my heart because the ones who are responsible for this are ones who I hold dear to my own heart.

For a whole  year I did not know that this disgusting rumor spread; the same time I was writing them letters, exchanging salutations, and all the while, they were circulating rumors about our brother Michael Ligalig.

Who has sone no ill or no err at all.

Michael, we support you. I support you.

Most of all we PRAY for you and all the loved ones that were hurt by these people who were meticulous in spreading rumors around. Fodder for the disgusting.

They laughed and rallied to the pains of the few, disgusting individuals with a black heart.

May the Lord God Rebuke them.

-----

GALATIANS 6:7-8,

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

Whatever a man sows, he/she will reap.

Remember that.

For God is the Avenger. He WILL Repay.

ROMANS 12: 19,

I'm barely new so I'm not aware  about the
     so-called gossip thread.
That's a shame whoever did it, besides if I read
something fishy I just make a left turn,
likay sa gubot, and it's  wrong to gossip.

The tongue is a little member  of the body
    and boasteth great things,
it  set the fire on hell, sharp as a two edged
     sword.
Listen, to be a murderer, does not really mean that
you use a weapon to kill somebody, but just wiggle
the  (two-edged sword) tongue to do the murder
     of one's reputation.

Repent and get saved, or burn in hell forever.

Amen!

Glorify Him!

The Lord Jesus Christ told us "Don't worry what comes into your mouth and into the body, instead worry about what comes out of your mouth."

Lies, hate, anguish, malcontent, and all that is evil can come out of the mouth; lies and gossip that are untrue.

I hate Gossip.

Kanang tawo that partakes of gossip and spreads it has nothing better to do with his or her life.
#36428
I am happy that you let this out and reveal your pains na, Mike.

I too am ashamed and saddened to know that some of these individuals have the audacity and the disgusting ill-will to be nice even to me but be responsible of these bogus lies and spreading rumors.

It is so hard to forgive them for what they have done; all of these individuals who partook of such a gossip.

I will forgive them for what they did, but I will not forget.

I have already cancelled my friendship with many of them.

Individuals like these, are best not to be friends with.

For their duplicity and their two-faced nature is not even worth our time.

May God forgive them for what they have done.

Michael Ligalig, my beloved igsoon.

Dili ka ka expect sa locals nga mosulod ani nga restaurant for the food bisan pa  nga affordable kay most have not been exposed to foreign cuisines with the exemption of those who have been out of the country and tried all sorts of food og kadto sad mga chili lovers. I noticed pinoy food are not hot at all unlike the neighboring asian countries nga anywhere you go, food will always be spicy and its up to you to tell them not to make them hot. Kay kung ako wala pa ko mostay in Thailand for sometime, i wouldnt have the chance to experience and appreciate spice. It has changed my outlook food wise. Me and Steve are trying to bring our friends and advertise the Indian Curry House para pud sad the business will last kay nindot baya sad ning naa tay kasuroyan sa atong mga bisita nga something different. In fairness the food there are really good and affordable also. The last time we ate there, there were 5 of us and we ordered a lot plus pila pa to ka bottles of beer for the boys, we end up paying 1200 pesos only.

Whenever I have a cook-out with my friends, or attend a pot-luck event, I usually bring the favored Chicken Adobo, and since my colleagues are mostly South Asians (Indian or Pakistani-Americans, their tongues usually are used to hot foods). To ammend this, I've added curry to my dishes, its actually made it taste better. Adding a bit of curry (yellow curry) to menudo or pang care care actually works; even as much as adding a little bit of sprite or 7-up to it (ive learned this vis-a-vis my father, lol).

I agree with you tho, Mari. Filipino Food, naturally, is very sweet or sour, or salty. With the herbs and favorite spice of black beens or bay leaves; our dishes are more opined towards Spanish cuisines. Its a mixture of Chinese and Spanish ; with the Spanish presence in our marinades undeniably present.

I must admit tho, the Chicken adobo is a favorite for some of my Indian and Paki brothers and sisters. They love it. And I, have become used to eating extremely spicey foods, though having antacids and milk and yogurt on the side works too. lol!

Sri Lankan food, however, is too spicey for my tongue.

I trust you must love eating tum yung gong?

hehe

I will not deny that Indian cuisin has changed my cooking style.

Since starting med, and since my friends are Indian/Pakistanis over here, (majority of US med students are South Asian, white, and a pocket of us Fil-Ams), Ive even added curry to my adobo chicken.

A friend of mine, Sidrah, taught me how to cook Chicken Biryani (and I use halal chicken) lol! Ever since the spice introductions, ive added curry (just a dash) to my chicken adobo. It adds a little 'umpffft' to the flavor.

The bay leaves makes the taste come out tho. Definately. :)

Catalina,

I will answer your question here.
Lupus or otherwise known as SLE (systemic lupus ereythematosus) isn't a viral or bacterial disease that can be transmitted via aerosol.

It is an immunological defecit. Its a hypersensitivity disease; Type III Hypersensitivity. It is a result of your body being unable to recognize self antigens; as a result, the body's human immune system (innate and adaptive) will target and attack the self antigens; it can lead to systemic damage.

There is no cure to this; as it is a genetic disease; a result of the antigen presenting cell's inability to recognize the 'self' antigen.

What we can do; is suppress the immune system to hinder the damage and prevent further systemic prolapse.

The adverse effect, of course, is bacterial and viral infection as a result of drug-induced immuno suppression.

Father, I cannot help but smile in approval and chuckle in confirmation of your message.
"No to Politicians"

The problem with politicians is that they let their own glory and achievements get to them. To their head. It is a syndrome that I like to call the "god syndrome."

When a man of power (a Sovereign Lord, Monarch, Emperor, President, Prime Minister, Judge etc) gets too powerful and too comfortable in his or her pulpit, he or she forgets the everday necessities of the masses, of the people whom he or she serves.
Let us analyze the actions of Monarchical figures such as Louis XVI of France, the last Absolute Monarch of the Capet-Dynasty of the French Empire. The man believed that his authority was divine-inspired and that it was his right to oppress the people and htat his hand was a fatherly hand. It was a concept quite parallel and akin to that of the concept of Filial Piety (Confucian-based) of Pax Sinica. The notion that everything was ordered and structured. As the Grass bows before the wind, so should the Emperor bow before the Will of God, and the ministers and government and civil servants bow before the Emperor, and the people bow before to the civil servants. This then transcends to the microscopic formula of the family: the mother bows before the father, and the children bow before the parents. etc etc.

Though there are similarities between Filial Piety and Absolute Monarchy, the latter was far more oppressive, that there was no outlet for the 'governed'.

This notion of 'god syndrome' comes to those who are in power. Man, in his deliberate pride of life, wishes to glorify himself through his accomplishments, its an innate fact. Let us analyze the pyramids of Egypt---it was constructed by Slaves under the Egyptian whip to produce monuments for the Glory of Pharaoh. Why did they do this? Because Pharaoh was God. Was he really? of course he was not, he was a man, but in their religion, he was God. Pharaoh and his kin glorified themselves through monuments, and through altar worship of their divine presence in the temples because they believed that they were divine. Why? Because they had power! Political power. Not only political, but to cement their lordship over society, they were not only political figures, but religious figures. As a result, ---> obeiscance and worship by the ruled masses.

The same can be seen even in the ideal republic; The Roman Empire.
Where Senators would vie for power to become Emperor.
And because the Emperors were so in love with their political regime, their political mailstrum, their laws, their edicts, their popularity, they therefore declared themselves divine. Can you believe it? lol!

So when they were dead, they were worshiped as gods, deities in their pagan religion.
Blasphemy!

Politicians will always be politicians. It is in their nature to glorify themselves. Does not matter what age, what epoch, it is within their nature as humans, and humans with political and economic power (even religious) to have such a mandate.

This is why, I will never consider any politician a hero.

Rizal, was not a politician. NEVER!
Rizal was a PHYSICIAN-SURGEON.
He was a DOCTOR. His profession bequethed that he save lives, not take lives.
He was also a prolific writer, an essayist, a poet, an architect, a man of GOD,
a romatic, a handsome man, and most of all----A MARTYR.

Untainted by the dirty of politics.
But his blood---which was spilled for this nation...bled and gave birth to a REPUBLIC.

RIZAL ES PRIMO!
The First and Only Hero of the Republic.

Yours In Christ,
A. Lorenzo Salvo Lucino

May they come to know his all-surpassing love.
May that love transform every element

A husband should never, ever, ever, lay his hands on his wife, nor abuse her mentally or physically.

Same for the wife.

Talk it out. Its okay to fight once and a while, as to fight is human, but one should remind each other in your mind that you are man and wife. Married under God. The Root of your children. The foundation of your house.

The foundation should be firm, and in firmament.

Ask Christ for strength. Strength to weather the storms of life, in marriage, in parenthood, in anything that life has to throw at you.

:)

Blessings and Peace.
In Jesus' Name.

It was 3 or 4 AM in the morning, and since no one was around, Korosh plugged his surround sound speakers to his laptop and played this song. lol!

So we listened to this tune, and for a little while, that moment in time, i felt as if i was away from studies, and felt 'in love' again. :)

This song, was my prom song.

Poems and Poets / Just Another Day
August 16, 2009, 07:46:09 AM
Suwat ni: Albrando Lucino Jr.

Tomorrow is just another day.
or is it?

Has it ever come across your mind that everyday is a blessing?
A blessing, for sure.

Each and everyday is a day of joy and glory,
each child born in a day,
each life cured by disease,
each graduation,
each marriage,
each anniversary,
each wedding proposal,
each eucharistic ministry,
each mass,
each spiritual awakening,
A blessing, for sure.

Each day a wife wakes up to her husband's caress,
each day a husband is embraced by his wife,
each day a son wakes up to his mother's call,
each day a father comes home to his family,
each day a daughter reads to her baby brother,
each laugh,
each cry,
each waking moment,
A blessing, for sure.

So make use of your day,
the past,
for the present,
for the days to come,
and always, always,
always, always
thank the ONE who gave you each day,
The Lord On High.
For
Each day is
A blessing, for sure.

I really, really, really love this Worship Song!

Enjoy, brods and sis.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbGgA2lIDjc

A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Chorus 2x
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out

Corazon Aquino, God bless her heart, lived to a full and long age of 76. Bore children and lived to see grandchildren.

Men like Rizal, who is the HERO, lived a short life. He was executed by a firing squad, not surrounded by family and loved ones. A platoon of Spanish soldiers with their Spanish Mauzers aimed and shot him, piercing the body of Dr. Rizal with over 20 bullets, striking and breaking his spinal cord, rupturing his visceral pleuras, his lungs, heart, stomach etc. And bled to death. His life faded into non-existance while he heard the roars of "Viva'y Espana, Viva, Viva! Muerto a los tradores!" (Long Live Spain, Live, Live, Death to Traitors).

He experienced hate, shame, envy, and death! For his LOVE of his COUNTRY! Even before his COUNTRY EVEN EXISTED!

He was a man before his time. Undeniable.

He bore the true burden, he bore hatred by the peninsulares (political families that wanted him dead; they hated what he stood for; and the Spanish Colonial Government).

Rizal, in his profuse, stubborn moderate-toned speech would write in poems to express his distaste, his approval or disapproval.

Never involved in politics, but voiced concern through literature and intellectual discourse.

He is, in my eyes, THE National Hero of the Philippines.

The Father of the Republic.
Why even after his death, the KKK used his name to legitimize their actions.

So, there can be no comparison.
None.

ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON AT ALL.
#36453
All presidents should always look to Rizal.

Ask themselves, "Are my actions a fulfillment of the dreams of Sr. Rizal? What would Dr. Rizal do in my case?"

You cannot even compare Aquino to Rizal.
Aquino was born into a political family. She is a peninsulare.
The family that she is part of, is the very subject of criticism that Rizal wrote about in his writings, the families that kept and oppressed the people.
Aquino's family owns land estates---promising to redistribute land, but that promise came to no avail.

No comparison.

She was put into the pulpit by people's power, not by democratic election.
Remember that.

Rizal, was the firs and only. He wrote and spoke when NO ONE dared to speak against Spain. Under penalty of death, he returned to Philippines.

And his death led to the birth of the Republic.

----

Benigno Aquino is more comparable to Rizal.
Benigno Aquino and Rizal share that 'sacrificial' trait.

Academic
Conservative
Faithful
Easy to forgive (ma suko dali sa sala sa mga tao, pero mo forgive ko, dili lang ko ka forget)
#36455
Better to control one's emotions; lest the emotions control you.

The latter is dangerous.
#36456
I admire Aquino for her charisma, but do not consider her a national hero.

1. National Hero = Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

#36457
There should only be one national hero.

And his name is: Jose Potracio Rizal y Alonzo.

Whose writings and passions gave rise to Filipinoismo.

Whose death gave birth to a NATION.

----

Only 1 National Hero.

RIZAL!

No one else.

Priscilla,

The phenomenon of uber-dramatization by the liberal news media is not only a Philippine-case scenario, but a problem even here in the United States.

Focusing on negative aspects of the current health plan by the Obama Administration.

It only strains energy of the people; when in all reality, the health plan will benefit not only the citizens of the United States, but even the financial sectors and the medical pillars.

The unfortunate effect is when people believe completely the one-sided news media cover stories.

I am in no way being bipartisan. As both sides, democratic and republican are guilty of doing this.

just my view.

Lorenzo I agree 100% with you.

Considering the billions Americans have sweated to save this Philippines for their own country here are the initials STFU to all you whiners and grinders out there.

Did Americans cry when we shed people and monies in this country hell no we did not and they whine over this nonsense?

How greedy Filipnos are sounding out to be in this matter?

Those complaining and not looking into the back ground in the you scratch my back I will scratch your back synopsis go find a life.

Last night I had taken dinner with actor director and gubernatorial candidate Cesar Montano and his 7-8 staff members and my foreigner expats were with me and we all ordered what we wanted and did not expect Cesar to foot our bill for us we paid our own as it was the original plan when the dinner was planned two weeks in advance.

I have heard of Mayor's complaining when they get invited out they automatically assume that the one inviting you out is the one to pay the bill.

I see Vice governor Herrera out all the time also and he is always treating his 3 or more persons on his staff there is nothing wrong in how these persons show appreciation and give incentive to be treated out with the boss for doing over time or working extra hard on the job.

I just sat through a PNP training opening in where I had signed the media list for the press conference and watched the higher provincial officials being served snacks one foot away from our faces then they want us to do a nice job in covering them when they did not even bother to give us one bottle of water?

You do not feel so much like a valuable player when you do not get taken care of just like everyone else does. Most media will write well depending on the monies being paid.

I like good honest non biased media in where no monies are given for painting someone pretty when they really are not. So many media personalities become plastic in their political candidate subject that they jump at the chance to attack and bite if they think they have reasonable grounds to grind an opposing candidate on.

I have seen Chito fuente in the company of Vice Governor Herrera and his circle a couple of times already in the past few months in the public..........
There is nothing wrong with that as Chito is a good writer and should be treated kindly by Herrera.

Bottom line it is okay to treat people for doing jobs that have been well done. But when a writer has to be paid to write lies about a candidate that when I am ruffled up in my feathers.

God maybe I am off topic but anyways it all ties in as examples I hope.

Do we need to be paid to be honest? If the answer is "YES!" then this is not such a democratic country after all is it?

Maybe our friend De Bensi  (spelling?) can lend her cat's scratching post during the election coming up here in 2010. ha ha ha!!!

We cannot please everyone. Politics is Politics.

Her accomplishments precede her. That is undeniable. Naysayers will always be naysayers.

Under her administration, she firmented the AMERICAN-PHILIPPINE ALLIANCE.

Under her administration, billions of dollars have been sent to the Philippines by the United States of America, and the re-establishment of CARAT and Visiting Forces Agreement.

The eradication of the Muslim Separatists is underway, and the growth and modernization of the Philippine Armed Forces is undeniable.

Arroyo has increased the power and strength of the AFP more than any other presidents.

Since the days of MARCOS. When the Armed Forces of the Philippines was the Strongest Arm in the entire South East Asia.

LONG LIVE THE PHILIPPINE EAGLE!

The negativity of the peope and news media is unfathomable.

Their business is to pick and choose, and continually pick and pick and pick at the heads of state, making their business to fulfill their job almost an impossibility.

Yet at the same time, news media demand that the head of state do the best he/she can.

Hypocrites.

The demand the best, but at the same time, profit in publishing negative information, fueling the sabers and raddles of the oppositionary party, which have done NOTHING for the country.

I am sorry, but GMA, is a good woman. GOD BLESS HER.

Under her presidency, the Philippines has become a financial target and investment target. The nation's growth has surged to 4-5% to 6-7%.

Right now, all the world is suffering financial burden, even the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

But the Philippines is spared. Its economy surges, its wealth is growing, the nation is growing!

Stop looking at the negatives, and appreciate the positives that has occured the last decade.

In the end, she, afterall, is a human, not a superhuman. She has done what was expected of her, doing what was provided for, scaling through the tricky and dangerous waters of Philippine Political Echelon.

She has survived coups, she was placed in power by political people's power, she has survived storms that have come across her, time and time again. She has seen the rise of 2 American presidents: Bush and Obama.

I salute this woman. She may be small, but she is intelligent, political, strong willed, and most of all: FIRM.

Who cares.

He was invited by Presidential Invitation.

Cordial reciprocation is mandated. Must we bother on the daily activities of heads of state? Where they eat, the bathrooms they occupy, the beds they sleep. The bedsheets that they use?

Perhaps GMA has Polo Ralph Lauren bed sheets that cost ~$300-$400, should we agape at that?

This has become quite petty, imho.

Maka katawa pood mi ang mga bata sa message sa among Father;

"Ang Lawas sa Amahan ug Lawas sa Inahan, may ang Foundation sa mga bata ug generation that comes after them."

It justifies a man to bear children. For out of one tree trunk ( a man and woman), comes forth entire branches, and fulfills God's Message to "Multiply".

Blessed is the sight of children and grandchildren to grandparents.

Ahong Lolo Ciano said to us (his apos)--when he came to live with us in the USA:
"Lipay ko kaayo na buhi pa ko nakakita ko sa ahong mga Apos diri sa America, naka kit apood ko sa ahong mga apo sa Pinas. Lipay na ko kaayo."

Children. It not only is a blessing for a marriage, but it is the Lasting imprint of a man and woman. His and her genetic mark. That tho we may die in this mortal toil, and our soul lifts to heaven after we perish, our body never truly dies.

For within our chromosome rests our genes. It is continued on to our children and grandchildren, great grandchildren etc etc. Which continues our progeny, our  line.
That truly, we never really truly die.

The 'original' recombinant may perish, as nature bequethes, but our Genes will never die. You live on in your children, grandchildren, your entire progeny.

Lord, I offer Unto You all my pleas, my requests, my aspirations, my goals in life, my sufferings, my longings, my passions, my sins, my all in all. Yours It is Yours.

In Daily evaluation,
I see the presence of God in the Sick,
In hearing the cries and lament of the sick, the dying,
I hear the groans of Christ being crucified in the Cross-
The bearing of Pain, which is the Sin of the World.

How can I forget the TOTAL Sacrifice of Christ Jesus?
Which is LIFE.

Today and this entire week has been a difficult week in studies, in reviews.
Constant mode na.
Salamat lang naay ko blog post to unleash and unload my stress.

Tho difficult ahong road, and filled with so many demands,
I can rest assured that my pains IS NOTHING compared to Christ's Crucifixion on the Cross, and His Death. And His GLORIOUS RESURRECTION.

Christ is Salvation.
Christ is THE WORD MADE FLESH.
Unto Salvation Is His Name.

So I justify myself.
Tho I am filled with stress,
Am justified in Christ Jesus.

Christ Justifies.
JESUS IS JUSTIFICATION.

Lyrics:

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."

I can see you twitching your nose.

As I sip my coffee, and write notes, a dat here, a dat there,
unbenownst to you; that I flicker my attention to your face.
Cute. You're a darling to gaze at.

Professionalism in manifest,
You're gorgeous in your white coat,

So I sip my cup of coffee.
Cheers to the beauty that sits in front of me. :)

God Loves You, Pare Bambi. As He loves me (an unworthy Sinner), but what counts jud is our Love for Him. Despite our sins and our abominable iniquities, we nonetheless have HOPE in HIM.

For Christ said he came to the world not to call the righteous, but came to this world for the sinners. He came to this world to save not condemn.

The one who will judge will be The Father who sent Christ Jesus Into The World.

If you zeal your life in Love of and for Christ Jesus, and do your best--in applying your faith into works that shines your light amongst men, you GLORIFY your FATHER in HEAVEN.

By Faith you are saved. By Faith we are saved, if we have faith in Jesus Christ Our Lord.

But we should also be kind, good, and loving brethren amongst our brothers and sisters. Even If it is hard to do so at times.

Mao na, what Jesus Christ tells us, about Love.

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
John 8:34

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Romans 12:9

Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Have You accepted Christ Jesus The Lord into your lives? Have you made HIM your Lord and Pesonal Savior?

You are still alive!
It is not too late!

Repent and Secure Salvation.
Talk to your local Catholic Priest. :)

Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45 When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. 47 "As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. 49 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. 50 I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say."
John 12:44-50

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. 25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
John 5:24-27

Nindot inyong postings, I will to take time to go deeper in their meaning, it is not easy to digest them in one sitting, thanks friends1 ;D

I would like to remind and offer you and our Brethren in Christ to look into the writings of the Early Church Fathers; the men that were responsible in the compilation of the works of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (the foundationof new testament Bible). Read into the works and the notions of the Early Church Fathers, the debates on Christ's Divinity, and the Role of The Holy Spirit in the repudiation of heretical notions that came from excessive personal interpretation(s).

Enjoy and God Bless!

I want to provide more verses in The Holy Bible that reiterates Purgatorial Purification:

Isaiah 6:5-7
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Hebrews 12:22-23
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

---

So let us examine the thoughts and words of the Early Church Fathers regarding Purgatory. Let us examine the Foundation of the Early Church.

"And after the exhibition, Tryphaena again received her [Thecla]. For her daughter Falconilla had died, and said to her in a dream: 'Mother, you shall have this stranger Thecla in my place, in order that she may pray concerning me, and that I may be transferred to the place of the righteous.'" (Acts of Paul and Thecla, AD 160)

"The citizen of a prominent city, I erected this while I lived, that I might have a resting place for my body. Abercius is my name, a disciple of the chaste shepherd who feeds his sheep on the mountains and in the fields, who has great eyes surveying everywhere, who taught me the faithful writings of life. Standing by, I, Abercius, ordered this to be inscribed; truly I was in my seventy-second year. May everyone who is in accord with this and who understands it pray for Abercius." (Epitaph of Abercius, AD 190)

"[T]hat very night, this was shown to me in a vision: I saw Dinocrates going out from a gloomy place, where also there were several others, and he was parched and very thirsty, with a filthy countenance and pallid color, and the wound on his face which he had when he died. This Dinocrates had been my brother after the flesh, seven years of age, who died miserably with disease . . . For him I had made my prayer, and between him and me there was a large interval, so that neither of us could approach to the other. . . . and knew that my brother was in suffering. But I trusted that my prayer would bring help to his suffering; and I prayed for him every day until we passed over into the prison of the camp, for we were to fight in the camp-show. Then . . . I made my prayer for my brother day and night, groaning and weeping that he might be granted to me. Then, on the day on which we remained in fetters, this was shown to me. I saw that that place which I had formerly observed to be in gloom was now bright; and Dinocrates, with a clean body well clad, was finding refreshment. . . . [And] he went away from the water to play joyously, after the manner of children, and I awoke. Then I understood that he was translated from the place of punishment." (The Martyrdom of Perpetua and Felicity 2:3-4, AD 202)

"The strength of the truly believing remains unshaken; and with those who fear and love God with their whole heart, their integrity continues steady and strong. For to adulterers even a time of repentance is granted by us, and peace [i.e., reconciliation] is given. Yet virginity is not therefore deficient in the Church, nor does the glorious design of continence languish through the sins of others. The Church, crowned with so many virgins, flourishes; and chastity and modesty preserve the tenor of their glory. Nor is the vigor of continence broken down because repentance and pardon are facilitated to the adulterer. It is one thing to stand for pardon, another thing to attain to glory; it is one thing, when cast into prison, not to go out thence until one has paid the uttermost farthing; another thing at once to receive the wages of faith and courage. It is one thing, tortured by long suffering for sins, to be cleansed and long purged by fire; another to have purged all sins by suffering. It is one thing, in fine, to be in suspense till the sentence of God at the day of judgment; another to be at once crowned by the Lord." (Cyprian of Carthage, Letters 51[55]:20, AD 253)

"But also, when God will judge the just, it is likewise in fire that he will try them. At that time, they whose sins are uppermost, either because of their gravity or their number, will be drawn together by the fire and will be burned. Those, however, who have been imbued with full justice and maturity of virtue, will not feel that fire; for they have something of God in them which will repel and turn back the strength of the flame." (Lactantius, Divine Institutes 7:21:6, AD 307)

"Then we make mention also of those who have already fallen asleep: first, the patriarchs, prophets, apostles, and martyrs, that through their prayers and supplications God would receive our petition; next, we make mention also of the holy fathers and bishops who have already fallen asleep, and, to put it simply, of all among us who have already fallen asleep, for we believe that it will be of very great benefit to the souls of those for whom the petition is carried up, while this holy and most solemn sacrifice is laid out." (Cyril of Jerusalem, Catechetical Lectures 23:5:9, AD 350)

"The time which interposes between the death of a man and the final resurrection holds souls in hidden retreats, accordingly as each is deserving of rest or of hardship, in view of what it merited when it was living in the flesh. Nor can it be denied that the souls of the dead find relief through the piety of their friends and relatives who are still alive, when the Sacrifice of the Mediator [Mass] is offered for them, or when alms are given in the Church. But these things are of profit to those who, when they were alive, merited that they might afterward be able to be helped by these things. There is a certain manner of living, neither so good that there is no need of these helps after death, nor yet so wicked that these helps are of no avail after death." (ibid., 29:109)

Beatiful ning verse that assess this point;
Proverb 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all  your  heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

We Hope and Pray to God The Father, and Justify ourselves in Christ Jesus' Blood on the Cross, to hear ou supplications. To Ask for Mercy, Pardon, And Grace to continue in the toils. To humbly request Divine Consolation for the requirements in this vale of tears.
We ask that His Plan be Merciful towards us, by His Will.

We leave the KNOWING to GOD. And we keep the ASKING and PRAYING to ourselves.

:)

God's Word is Christ Jesus. The Word Made Flesh.

In Him we were created, For All Things were Created in Him.

What we do Hope For is in Salvation in Jesus Christ.
As there is no other Name in Heaven where we will be saved.

Everything else, that matters and affects the body and this mortal toil is dispensible and unimportant. In the end, the salvation of the eternal soul through Faith and Works is what counts.

We have free will, yes, of course. But free will to do good and justify our Faith through Works that define our faith.

To focus on and dwell on earthly fruits is straying form the MAIN GOAL.

I reiterate, the REDEMPTION and SALVATION of the Eternal Soul is what matters the most.

He gives us wisdom, he gives wisdom to the discerning, yes, of course.
That is provided to us in The Book of Psalm, but to know HIS Plan is impossible to be known.

That is why, in regards to prayer and supplication, we ask and pray to have HIS Grace to be showered unto our minds and hearts, most of all to comfort the soul.

To have the strength and courage to do what must be done for that day. The entire plan ins not made known to us until they day of Judgment.

It think it is wise for us to make difference between asking and seeking Wisdom, and from knowing God's Plan in our lives.

Wisdom he gives, to those who are discerning, and to those who seek her like silver.
But to know God's Divine Plan, is impossible. It is impossible.

The only Hope we, heirs of the sin of Adam and Eve, but justified and rectified in the Blood of Christ, which offers Salvation, is that to Hope for Salvation and Christ's Grace to rest upon our heads. Whatever the outcome and whatever the path that he leads us to.

You see, life in itself is a journey. A pilgrimage. We don't know the paths we will take, but we have a hope towards our destination.

There must be a clear differentiation between seeking wisdom, and asking for Grace (and recieving Grace), from knowing Providence' Divine Plan.

Only Providence knows His Divine Plan for each and everyone of us.

Again, Only GOD knows what HIS Plan is for us. It is for us to Trust In Him and seek refuge.
Jeremiah 29: 11,
For I alone know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.

This is why when we ask for something or plan for anything, it is best to say (in ending), "God Willing" or "If God Wills It."

For no one can know God's Plan.

He Wills what Will Be. By HIS GRACE and HIS GRACE ALONE, we can accomplish the very little we can in life.

:)

It is impossible for anyone, living or dead to ever know what God's plan is; we live in Faith in prayer and supplication to ask for HIS Grace. Not to know his plan. It is impossible to know HIS PLAN.

And the LORD GOD said, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."
(Isaiah 55:8-9)

---

I stand by what is reiterated in James. Faith alone without works is dead.
Anyone can say with his mouth that he believes in Christ, and yet at the same time work in unrighteousness, in perversity, in murder, and all that is forbidden and abominable to the Lord God.

It is therefore, antagatory to His Message to Us.

Salvation is through Faith and Good Works.

----

James 2: 17-->
17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.

James 2: 24,
24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

James 2:20-26,
20 You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is uselessa?  21 Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?  22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.  23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,”b and he was called God’s friend.  24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.
25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?  26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Faith without works is Dead.

This is why I say and have argued this in my debate with Protestant brothers that the Protestant Bible is flawed. Flawed since it has removed Old Testament Books.

Everything that the Catholic Church teaches; from Cathechesis to Prayer is Scriptural/ Bible Based.

This is where the defense of Catholic Doctrina comes in: TRUTH IN SCRIPTURAL AND CHURCH TRADITION.

Glory be to God In the Highest.
Honor, Glory, And Praise belongs to HIM.
