Bible Study / Re: Is Jesus The Only Way To Heaven?
November 14, 2009, 02:18:44 PM
A friend who is a practicing Hindu once asked me about the teachings of Christianity,
asking what will happen to those (incuding Hindus) who do not believe in Christ, will they be saved?

I gave him the truthful answer.
I gave him a verse from The Holy Scripture of the Holy Bible:

A Verse from John 8:24
And Jesus Said to them who would not believe, "I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."

---
A man who does not live and believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior,
will not be accepted by the Father.
For the Father sent Christ to be the very WAY to GOD.
If You Reject the WAY, You Reject Salvation,
and are thereby destined to the ETERNAL PYRE THAT IS HELL!

There is no salvation in any other deity.
No salvation in Muhammad or Allah, or Vishnu or Krisha or any other.

There is no salvation in anyone else , BUT JESUS CHRIST WHO IS LORD.

Repent Now and be SAVED!

November 14, 2009, 02:12:27 PM
This food (chicken gizzards and liver and chicken thighs) is what my Dad used to cook when we first arrived to USA in 1991. I always remember my dad buying it and cooking it for us kai it was affordable sa una, when we were still struggling in the 'states. Maka remember ko of the hard times, and it humbles me.

Pero lami man!

Even if it is gizzards, dad always cooked it and made it taste good. hahahahaha!

so whenever i eat gizzards, i think of my DAD.

HOW TO OVERCOME JEALOUSY

The key to biblically overcoming jealousy is to discern the roots of your jealousy and then battle them with the truth of God's Word. Put into practice the challenge in Romans 12:1-2: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will."
#34507
Guys!

Jealousy is initiated by 3 Things:
1. Personal Insecurity
2. Fear
3. Deception
----

Personal insecurity can breed a host of jealous strife. Often times, we base our security on the opinion, affirmation, and acceptance of other people. When we feel rejected or unloved we become dangerously insecure leading us to perceive the strengths of other people as threats to our own well being.

To biblically battle the impediment of insecurity we must turn to God through His Word to tell us once again of His unfailing love and acceptance. Completing this task will take active engagement in the battle through research, reflection, and prayer. Start by looking up all the verses in the Bible related to God's love and acceptance. Here are some passages to get you started:

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me (Psalm 13:5-6).
Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love (Psalm 48:9).
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul (Psalm 143: 8 ).
For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own (1 Samuel 12:22).
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me (Psalm 27:10).
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9).

----

Fear can be another instigator of jealousy. A life of fear is just as devastating to relationships as insecurity. Controlling through fear will not help you maintain the relationships or positions you desire. There is nothing we can hang on to that is worth what we are giving up. This cryptic statement refers to the peace we can know through Jesus Christ when we give Him free reign over our lives. In the end, jealousy does not keep, it pushes away!

To overcome fear you need to first recognize what you fear, confess before God, and then transform your thoughts through God's Word. Here are some verses to ponder:
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18).
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father" (Romans 8:15).
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1).
To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy (Jude 24).

---------

Deception can also play a role in cultivating jealousy in your heart. You may perceive a threat that in reality does not exist. Your perception of life is distorted due to lies you believe about others and yourself. The following Scriptures can help you battle the lies.

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32). Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long (Psalm 25:4-5).
Do not snatch the word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws (Psalm 119:43).
I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob's descendants, "Seek me in vain." I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right (Isaiah 45:19).
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come (John16:13).

Another favorite class in medical school:

Medical Journal Club.

The style of the class is a student, selected, presents on a journal he or she finds interesting. Powerpoint presentation, and is then subject to questions among his/her fellow medical colleagues and by the academic staff.
It homes in one's clinical skill, and knowledge on specific research fields affecting medicine today.

I presented on the topic of 'Schizophrenia' and what was supposed to be a 20 minute presentation turned into a 2 hour presentation with debate questions.

The auditorium's response was interesting. Pre-Psychiatry students arguing amongst the Surgical Students, etc. etc.

Interesting points of view from amongst the varied medical specialists and student-specialists.

I had the presentation recorded, when i have time ill upload it in my youtube page. and link it here. nice review tho.

Another favorite class sa medicine!

~Surgical Anatomy Lab

Why?
Full access to the human bodies, and practicing on our surgical skills; homing our skills; perfecting it.
When we were opening a specimen's thoracic wall, we literally used pliars to crack open the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ribs then worked our way down to the 12th rib. For the sternum and the xiphoid process we used a surgical angular saw to severe it from the manubrium, thereby exposing the arch of the aorta and variable structures!

AMAZING KAAYO !

There was one lab partner who helped me perfect my surgical incision; her name is Sidra.
Beautiful and intelligent physician-in-training. We both practiced healthy competition, and healthy camaraderie. he he he

Just from the style of her incision, I can tell she will be Surgeon someday. Firm and steady.

All because I told her, "I just want to  be friends, this won't work out."

The sun sets today,
The beauty of God's Divinity is seen in the beauty of the changing colors,
of the setting sun.

And where does it go?
Where does it reclaim?
It passes yet again around this world,
What is dark and night in one side,
is day and light in the other.

If I were to leave you today,
you should never have to cry, nor beset with longing,
for my darling of darlings,
I am not away.

For your night will be my day.
And my day will be your night.
The very sun you see, is the same sun that I see.
The very stars you witness in the dark of night,
I, too, shall see it in amazement.

The air that you breath, filling your life's blood with sustenance,
is the very same air that I breath.
Connected, you and I.
Connected.

My sweat darling,
know that there is not one moment of each passing day that I do not think,
and caress you in my thoughts and in my words.
As you blush in adoration when I smile at you,
know that I beam in delight knowing you are there near me,
knowing that you are thinking of me, and needing my affection.

I just want to be good for you.
You and no other.

My darling,
my heart is yours.
You and no other.

Love you my sweet,
Bran

One of my favorite History classes in college was with Prof. Notar, she was then in her early 40s and I was still a college freshman (19 y.o). It was my first history class in college, "Chinese Civilization". I was attracted to her, completely, a hug crush.

I would do everything in my power to impress her, especially when it came to papers and performance in class. I aced the class with an ending mark of 96, but I must admit that my reason for my competitive nature was mostly to try to impress her. I debated and debunked other studies regarding Qing dynastical cycle difference with the preceeding Ming and Tang, etc. But my interest was to see Prof. Notar's reaction(s). lol.

Truth be told.

---

I would have frequent lunch dates with her in her office,
or ask if I could do my homework and work in her office during office hours.
She agreed.

Beautiful woman. Voluptuous and well defined woman.
She brewed the best coffee, tho.

I can still remember the smell of her coffee. Pure black. No cream. one teaspoon of sugar.

Nice.

Hello there Woman,
Sweetheart,

Soup was great yesterday.
Tho I was annoyed how you didn't hug me enough.
You studied next to me, and placed your head on my lap,
but didn't hug me.

And only when I went to leave to go home did you bother to
hug me and not let go.
ha ha, i am becoming very needy, i have noticed.

I have not even left the campus, and i am already missing you.
Give my regards to your mother and father.

See you later today.

I want to taste your kisses.

November 13, 2009, 12:25:56 PM
The baptism into Christ is both liberational. It liberates us from the sin of the world, when we are baptized or confirmed into Christian Faith, we severe ourselves from the sin of this world. We, willingly, choose to accept salvation in Jesus Christ who Is Lord. We willingly accept, through our own free will, that we want to be saved. That tho the temptation of sin abounds, that the powers of evil continue to tempt, we have put our feet on the neck of satan, May GOD REBUKE him!

Baptism and awareness of baptismal rite is a reaffirmation of our Salvation.

Severance from sin and union in Christ message of Eternal Salvation.

Brother Gwargz and Brother Brown,
You guys are most welcome.

I thought this quote by St. John of the Cross was quite enlightening and piercing.
It speaks truth of the message in 1 Corinthians 6:19, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?”

The deep meaning, brods, is that God lives in us when we allow Him to live in us and allow Him to work through us. Our good works, is not our own, but is the work of God through the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Eternal Father and The Son, Jesus Christ.

We are told, brothers, to shine for our good works so that all the house may see  it and Glorify Our Father who is in Heaven. For our works of faith is not our own, but sing GLORY EVERLASTING to the One and Eternal Living God.

Glorify Him!
His Name is Worthy of All Praise.
The Name above All Names~ JESUS.

One of life's 'interesting' experiences, Candi. :)

Overall, I did love the class, because it was debate-oriented. We sat in a circle and went around providing our, as she would put it, "academic opinion" on a particular literary piece.

Prof. H, was, in my opinion, a pretty attractive woman. Perhaps she had a bad history with men, who knows.

She was exceedingly nice to me in her office, but in class, was quite harsh. Bipolar man t'ong bajiha.

Quotable Quotes / Re: Those Who Debunk Traditional Values
November 12, 2009, 06:08:47 PM
A friend once said, (remarking about athiests' disgust towards Christians),
"Isn't it funny, Lorenzo, how some athiests attack Christian faith and the validity of GOD and claim that there is no GOD, but in their own quiet arrogance, believe that they are themselves, their own god and personal deity? How pitiful is the ignorance of man."

I agreed, in totality.

Bible Study / Baptism Means Derailment
November 12, 2009, 06:00:40 PM
The word baptism means derailment. Christ baptizes Peter on the rock when he tells him: “Because you confessed your love for me, your life is no longer your own. Before you said this, you fastened your belt and you walked wherever you liked. Now, others will put a belt around you and take you where you would rather not go.” To submit to love is to be baptized, that is, to let one’s life be forever interrupted. To not let one’s life be interrupted is to say no to love

Quotable Quotes / If It Were Not For The Cross
November 12, 2009, 05:36:43 PM
I could never myself believe in God, if it were not for the cross. The only God I believe in is the one Nietzsche ridiculed as “God on the Cross.” In the real world of pain, how could one worship a God who was immune to it? I have entered many Buddhist temples and stood respectfully before the statue of Buddha, his legs crossed, arms folded, eyes closed, the ghost of a smile playing round his mouth, a remote look on his face, detached from the agonies of the world. But each time after a while I have had to turn away. And in imagination I have turned instead to that lonely, twisted, tortured figure on the cross, nails through hands and feet, back lacerated, limbs wrenched, brow bleeding from thorn-pricks, mouth dry and intolerably thirsty, plunged in God-forsaken darkness. That is the God for me! He laid aside his immunity to pain. He entered our world of flesh and blood, tears and death. He suffered for us.

To note btw,

I was late one time to my english poetics class in college, (b/c of a snow storm), and was late to her class for 5 minutes. When I entered the class, she made it such a big deal that I was late. Which is ironic b/c in previous days, women would come late to her class and she would not make a big deal about it; oh the hypocrisy!
{Also note that i was one of 4 guys in a class of 25}.

She did something that i will never forget, as i came to class, she said to me, "Oh so the man comes to class, look at this, the typical male comes late, as always!"

I found it quite demeaning since I never came late to her class before this, and what was ironic is that i was not the only one late, 2 other female students came in late with me, but she targetted me. Hypocritical feminist!

Everything that came out of her mouth was always a bashing of men, in any literary piece. She even bashed on Percy Bysshe Shelley, a personal favorite.

I once remarked to her in class, "Did a man hurt you that much, Prof. H?)

Everything that came out of her mouth was a bash against men, even when the subject matter didn't even concern or regard men, she made it loop around that it was male-associated.

I took her class only for English credit requirements. Yikes!

You’ve got butterflies, good conversation, maybe even great sex, but sometimes it can be difficult to be sure if it’s love. How do you decipher whether the feeling in the pit of your stomach is the nervous quivering of anticipation or yesterday's lunch? Luckily, Lovingyou.com knows that “fools in love” are easy to spot. Here are some tell-tale signs that it just be might be love, love, love.

You are best friends. You laugh with them more than anyone else. The feelings of anticipation, passion, and connection are mutual. You remember little things about each other like their favorite foods, the places they want to visit and why, their views on everything from politics to fashion, and what they love about their closest buddies, but is it enough? Take a look at these signs to be sure.

What he’ll do:

    * Put you on his “A” list (pay attention -- You'll know if you're not on it)
    * Introduce you to his family
    * Make plans for the future (near and far)
    * Do things outside of his “box” with you
    * Share his secrets and his dreams for the future with you
    * Worry about impressing your friends
    * Come right over when you ask him to
    * Try to do things that comfort you or relieve some of your stress (like surprise you with dinner on a night you are working, rub your feet, or ask about your day)
    * Appreciate and reciprocate your feelings and your actions like giving you a massage after he gets one from you, doing the dishes after dinner, or sending you a gift

What she’ll do:

    * Share her embarrassing moments and fantasies with you
    * Little things all throughout the day that let you know she’s thinking about you
    * Fantasize about her life with you, getting married, having kids, growing old, traveling the world, etc.
    * Tease you
    * Hang out with your mother or talk to her on the phone
    * Appreciate and reciprocate your feelings and your actions, like offering to pay for dinner, getting tickets to a game or event she knows you’ll love, or cooking for you
    * Ask questions about your life -- past, present, and future
    * Flirt with you

How you’ll feel:

    * Excited, yet relaxed
    * Vulnerable, yet strong
    * Comfortable enough to be yourself in front of them
    * Like you want to include them in everything (but you won't desert your usual crowd to be in a relationship with them)
    * You’ll miss them when they’re not around
    * You can’t wait to see them, talk to them, play with them, and kiss them
    * You’ll find yourself wanting to make plans to have them all to yourself
    * You’ll have urges to do romantic things (maybe on the verge of stalker-like things) that you never thought you’d never do

Signs that it’s not love:

    * They blow you off or cancel dates
    * Talking about commitment makes either of you uneasy or nervous
    * Either of you are seeing other people
    * Things are moving too quickly for one of you
    * You find your partner lacking when compared to other people
    * You watch a love scene in a movie or hear a love song and you feel a strong longing or desire for what you don’t have

      Tips before you commit:
    * Take the time to compare who you have with who you know deep down that you desire and deserve. Likewise, compare the
relationship you have with the one you know you really want.
    * Pay attention to how they treat their friends, family, business associates, and strangers. This is a good indication of how they will
treat you over time and a big insight into their overall character.
    * Ask yourself how well you know them and how well they know you.

One thing she does that I love:

1. When we're in the library, ill be sitting in my desk reading, and she'll sit right across me. LOL!
2. She throws notes at me, scribbling notes, usually hilarious
eg)  "Hello there mr. Hairy man. How are you? I am hungry. I am tired. I have so much to read. I missed you today. You ignored me, Lorenzo! Missed you. Miss me?"
hahahahahaha!

3. Or when i am studying hardcore, she'll tap my desk to get my attention. I will take off my headphones, turn my had to her and with a smile say, "Yes?"
--she'll start laughing.
--ma embarassed pood ko kai daghang tawo sa library. but ill start laughing too. LOL.

4. When im outside talking to colleagues, or when im looking at charts, she'll pass by and eye me. LOL.
I can see her with my peripherals.
--Or if im talking to another female colleague, she'll pass by and purposely walk by me and give a "Look", hahaha! ka cute! kai ma jealous ning bajiha! ka cute!

Then when i go up to her afterwards, mo ingoon, sija nako, "why did you ignore me, hmmm? too busy with that other woman?" lol!
Then i just give her a hug and then mo smile napood balik.
Ayayay...

Most of all,
i love it how she writes me letters, too.
I have never met a woman who was as passionate as me in writing letters.
Her letters are deep...pariho nako...
amazing how i met her here.
of all places, in medical school.
LOL!

Compared to the Dr. Conching branch of the Lim family, Dr. Guido's less visible in the church here in Valencia.

It is the family of Dr. Conching who is very generous to the church.  their donations may now be in the millions.

With that said, Calle, i don't think it matters how rich a man is or how rich a woman is.
So long as they are willing to give to God, and give to the poor, that is good!
To give, in general, is good.

Ako galing, bisan di ko datu, (pordoy man ko intawn, pordoy sa loans, he he he) mo hatag man ko,
moingon man to ahong mama ,"When you give to God, give to God with  your heart, and not with your mouth and expect others to be awed how much you give. Give so that God knows you give, even if it is very little, because he knows that times can be hard."

Mao ni ahong keep sa dughan nako!

Ang mga datu sa Valencia, it is good that they give to the church, more so, if they can also give to the poor and mga pobre walang kwarta didto sa basak, didto sa bukidnon area.

Bisan gamay ra gud, tagaan lang pood sila ug loans to college, or tagaan sila ug gamay nga medicine.
Kai didto sa bukid, there are people who are still suffering from Tuberculosis, dengue, and kwarshiorkor, marasmus (malnutrition!!!)

I want this to be solved.
Ampo ta ha!

Blessed Child Jesus, may the wealthy among us share their wealth.
And have compassion as you had compassion to the world..when you laid down your life for our salvation.

As for plans? Wow. Interesting.

She did say this to me, while I was cooking food in her apartment,
"You know, Lorenzo, you'll make a great daddy someday. You'd be so good to your kids. Whoever you marry, goodness! She'll be so lucky!"

ahaha i was acting like i wasnt affected. The entire time i was blushing red. :P

A Physician fixes the body,
A Physician should also physician his own heart and soul.

~

My dear, where were  you today?
Did you not know that your one and only looked for you today, you were not there to greet me after Systemic Pathology, nor were you there to sip my tea as you usually do. How could you make me wait and wonder where you were, then to realize that you took the day off to review material.

You should have told me, or messaged me prior, for I missed you today.

They said, "Dr. Lucino, what is your prognosis to the patient's acute pancolitis, what is your recommendation?"
I answered, "total resection, and refer."
But my mind was focused on you. ha, you must think it funny to have me, so affected?
No, it is not funny, if you think so, for i am, pathetically, totally, pathetically in Love..

Love.
I am in love with you.
Woman, my sweet, I love you.

There. I said it.

To my beloved Stacy,

This morning, my love, i was awakened by the coldness of my bed.
I searched for you, and you were not there.
How sordid!

My love, i thought you were with me last night,
then i came to realize that you were at your abode,
then i chuckled in delight, knowing my own intimate fantasies
have taken over.

Sweetheart,
I think of you day and night,
when I am studying, i think.

Even when I choose to ignore you in class and at work,
for I must alienate these feelings in the professional field,
still you take your effects on me.

Woman,
dearest woman, my most eloquent lullaby.

Let me drink of your most nectar,
Let me caress  your body,
Let my bed be warm to the touch,
Let passion take over,

For I cannot retain my feelings,
my most precious woman.

Think of me,
Yearn for me,
as I do for you.

Dear Blog,

My day has been quite multi-faceted today. Work has not changed, the requirements of the day have increased, due to the culmination of patient care. I had a meeting with Ericka and Renee and Dr. Ash on our research presentation, which is a publication material for hyperbaric medicine regarding air embolism. We have finally collected medical data from the local hospital that stems from 2000 to 2008. Basic concept that was addressed with be the use of ANOVA in the statistical aspect of the project; as well as the use of regression analysis etc.

I am also counting the days till we receive our white coat and end this semester of 2nd year medicine. Countdown is 38 days.

The Lord is Kind. The Lord is Good.

In astute observation, and in mind,

Quotable Quotes / Without Suffering
November 12, 2009, 04:03:34 AM

It’s like growing lotus flowers. You cannot grow lotus flowers on marble. You have to grow them on the mud. Without mud you cannot have lotus flowers. Without suffering, you have no way to learn how to be understanding and compassionate.

Quotable Quotes / Those Who Debunk Traditional Values
November 12, 2009, 04:00:32 AM

A great many of those who ‘debunk’ traditional…values have in the background values of their own which they believe to be immune from the debunking process.”

Quotable Quotes / Your Children are not Your Children
November 12, 2009, 03:05:54 AM
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
Which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
And He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also
The bow that is stable.

Quotable Quotes / Part of A Whole
November 12, 2009, 12:26:41 AM
A human being is a part of the whole that we call the universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the restâ€"a kind of optical illusion of his consciousness. This illusion is a prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for only the few people nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living beings and all of nature.

Quotable Quotes / Difference Between Work and Recreation
November 11, 2009, 08:59:29 PM
"A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both."

Thank you...but inspite of my past, I still have time to laugh and expect good things in life.

And that is how it should be, Misty. It's healthy to keep a light and an open heart. Too serious a life will become a very boring, bland, tense life. Dili ta angay ana.

Sometimes, we need to laugh alot, drink some wine (or hard alcohol, etc), dance to love, bed with a lover, spend time with family, laugh with friends, and open our hearts to God's Loving Forgiveness.

Because without these, Misty, one looses the beauty in life.

Peace!

My Love,
My sweetest flower that blooms when I come to pass,

To my one and only Songbird.
I respect you. I Adore You.

There is not one day that I do not think of you.
Even tho I see you in the morning, still I miss you.
Even tho you hug me, still I miss you.

You are a fresh drink of cold spring water to my parched lips.
You are a cool breeze that caresses my face during the heat of summer day.
You are a soft eloquent lullaby that hums me to sleep in the dark of night.

Lorenzo.

As I said, to you before, woman of my past,

"To forgive is to be forgiven."

Water underneath the bridge. Forgive me for my hardened heart. It has been softened, now.
Praise be to Jesus.

In memoriam of my friend, Robert Matson (1985-2007)

You spoke of Voltaire, Locke, Robespierre, Monterrey,
Obvious in reiteration, literary persuasion, economics, linguistics, so you say,

The problems of society and the established oligarchy,
the news media, the plethora of racial set backs, the ignorance of the proletariat,
The greed of the green capitalists, the hypocrisy of the politicians,
Who promise the world, proclaim righteousness, but whose actions are~ Pharisaical.

Dreams of longevity, dreams of worldly pursuits, aspirations of conquest,
Dreams to meet up, dreams to portray, love to acquire, ladies to court,

Songs that have yet to be sung, songs that have been half written, a word in lyre,
Where are you know? Who shall complete this mandate?

Friends filled with love, family in testament to your life,
deprived of a persona.
Where are you know?

You left us as you came into the world.
Spontaneous.

You came to my life as a friend, the example of the typical "Left-Winged Liberal"
You know I used to call you that.
For sure, you used to call me "Conservative Neo-Con"
We laughed, we dined, we chatted, we discussed, we became friends.
We became Brothers
That in the process of life, the experience of new and old,
I shall never, never, meet another like you.
You who brought to me the understanding of the other side of the ball game,
you who brought to me the appreciation for the classics,
That, though you are gone, shall never leave me. ever.
Until life's last breath passes from my own body, it shall not leave me.
For you have changed your friends, forever.
In positive light, my dear Robert. In positive light.

Shall I go on with this?
Yes I shall.

Shall I remember our hundreds of discussions?
Sure, for the most part.

But what saddens me the most, my dear Robert Matson,
is that we put off so many of our conversations,
so many,
and trusted that time should allow us to complete them when alotted,
but the truth, my dear friend,
is that those conversations that were 'stacked' in the book shelf,
shall always remain, just that.
"Stacked"

It is preserved.
Left untouched.
Memory-ridden.

Until one day, my dear friend and brother,
that thou woudst honor me with continuation of our so many conversations,
in the land of Christ Jesus.
To where in his mansion, for sure, I know, you live now.
Reserve me a place in Christ's mansion, my friend.
Reserve me a place.

I do mourn you.
I do miss you.
More than you could ever know.

Yours,
Albrando "Al"
