To note btw,
I was late one time to my english poetics class in college, (b/c of a snow storm), and was late to her class for 5 minutes. When I entered the class, she made it such a big deal that I was late. Which is ironic b/c in previous days, women would come late to her class and she would not make a big deal about it; oh the hypocrisy!
{Also note that i was one of 4 guys in a class of 25}.
She did something that i will never forget, as i came to class, she said to me, "Oh so the man comes to class, look at this, the typical male comes late, as always!"
I found it quite demeaning since I never came late to her class before this, and what was ironic is that i was not the only one late, 2 other female students came in late with me, but she targetted me. Hypocritical feminist!
Everything that came out of her mouth was always a bashing of men, in any literary piece. She even bashed on Percy Bysshe Shelley, a personal favorite.
I once remarked to her in class, "Did a man hurt you that much, Prof. H?)
Everything that came out of her mouth was a bash against men, even when the subject matter didn't even concern or regard men, she made it loop around that it was male-associated.
I took her class only for English credit requirements. Yikes!
