GEC...who is Lisa Macuja?

Ms. vickyliga welcome to TB.  Nice to know you as co-Inabangnons.  I am just much worried about your reports in connection with the present high crimes in our hometown.  I hope our young/good looking Mayor Jumamoy will pay more attention to this case.  He must have to restrained the police officials to be vigilant enough for a peaceful Inabanga town.

Pasagdi nalang na.  I was much interested in Corella for farming purposes..had even emailed to Ms. simplylee for some inquiries and to get some  more informations from those other offered lots for sale. But from her side, there was no specific updates and was just surprised to this news of disappointments.    Anyway, Bohol is a big round flat bisan adto ta magpok-ong ug mag-guna  sa Chocolate hills basta we will be united into one.  I think Mr. Junayag will find a way and he might exert more efforts to realize our plans come what may.

Bayat, nakapanimaho man god nga may mga interesado nga taga gawas nga gustong mosilingan ug "not like ours"...mao ni.  Kahibalo baya ka sa Pilipinas nga number 1 pa gjod ang kasina nay hisgutan. Basin barato iyang "villa for sale".. Bayat adto na lang palit aron dili na hago magpagama nga way mo-atiman-  Bitaw....tinoud na ni gjod nga gipalit ug lain?
Maayo unta to ug gi-unhan lang nato ug bayad bisan ug 20% from that whole amount and a deed of sale was executed being notarized before a notary public....di na unta ma-ilog.  Unsaon man si Sir Junayag wala pa didto ug ang atong  TB survey delegates (Ms. Edelweiss and co).

Nakahuna-huna baya kog lawom Bambs tungod ning panghitabo. Nakit-an man jud nako ang paningkamot ni Sheilla nga mulampos sa panginabuhi through business and court battles (she faced a string of cases both in Tokyo and Manila related to her businesses and properties and won most of them).

Tinuod jud diay that there are more important things to store in life than worldly riches...

Mao ni gi-ingon nga "live life without if and buts as it would be your last"....we are only guests and in a blink of an eye...we must have to go.  I related  this story to Markus (your friendship with  the late Ms. Shiela), your  shocked, and sadness  and he added: "you see, money will not raise you up from drowning". It  will happen anywhere, anytime.  I remembered, during my school vacation, I  used to work as a salesgirl in Tagbilaran market selling dry goods, (kalaray nga tindahan ug mga manggad). Nang Feling from Baclayon was an older lady, the saleswoman of the business store of her younger sister near beside my stand.  We had talked, good laughs and  about noon...she had told me: Ms. Annie i will shortly take a nap and would you wake me up if customers will come along?  And that's it... i strongly shaked her body but she didn't wake up anymore. It was only a matter of 10 minutes after our short chat. Sad. Many of my friends died.... at the age of 23- Ms. Yolanda Cabido, ex Miss UB Personality. Was with her at Tagb. Cathedral attending Holy Mary Mass (Wed. and she got collapsed Friday) (cancer), 24- Anton, workmate - an immigrant from Russia, greet me b4 i left from work (Friday and got his crashed sunny Sunday (motorcycle accident), 27 - Heidi, my best Fitness and Disco colleague, went with her for a dinner, agreed for a weekend outings (postponed our date for a niece b-day party where her last attended party (car accident), 48- Olivia, got a phonecall b4 i left for a 4 week rehabilitation, agreed to be together for home vacation  6 mos after), she died here and she is burried in Cebu had visited her grave a day b4 our last EB (heart attacked), 54- Siriporn a Thai lady, our hiking and vacation comrade(celebral hemorrhage) and Nang Feling (cardiac arrest) and many others... ...Mr. Death will never knock at our doors and ask how old we are!

Wala man tay mahimo kay wala may deed of sale or any document nga atong gi gunitan.

Just for the sake of respect bisan ug walay kasulatan ug bisan wala makasulat sa law.

Ang gi himo sa China Bank, mao ni gi ingon nga "gi solot".

So, unless a representative of China Bank will formally explain thier side on this forum and ask for apology, we have also a power to express our dis-gusto to what they did and I am sure this is enough to affect their Chinese owned business.

Like me, I have the power to convince all my relatives and friends and even on this forum to withdraw thier accounts in China Bank and transfer thier money to Boholano owned Banks like FCB. FCB is owned by the family of Richard Uy and I personally knew him.

Let us promote and patronize Boholano owned businesses like FCB (First Consolidated Bank).

Sir Macky, basin giduganggan ug usa ka ZERO ang 30 Pesos.....that is what i think.

I really dont like the idea of buying the whole thing, its not nga dili ko gusto nga mangaon mo but please start now my dear friends. Lechon is not the most important thing just to be together, palit nalang mo ug kinilo para walay usik. Peeps, think of something healthy like grilled (sinugba) fish ba kaha with kinilaw or with sinugbang baboy and let everyone prepare or help para naa jud mo insaktong bonding.
Ato kuno nang hinay-hinayan ug fade ang lechon being the center of any gatherings... You all know guys its not good for your health. Im not really against it but lets start now. Kita man gud kaha ang mo educate sa atong mga katawhan, i think this is the perfect time, right?

This is just a suggestion guys ha? dont take it too personal. Kay if only happen nga akoy mo EB someday wala jud mo'y lechon makita  nga nag ubo sa lamesa...

Thanks Bayat. Yes, this is a reasonable  and healthy reminder but as if "LECHON" is Pinoys best friend whenever there is a gathering. I could just remembered my last B-day held there in Tagb., hired a  cook, from that   16 variant  foods ... prepared the whole 80 kgs pig, 10 kgs. cow meat, 10 chickens, 30 kgs.  fresh ordered seafoods including crabs, shrimps, squids and etc. BUT my brothers are insisting to have an extra lelchon saying: Tiya, every guests might said after the party...sus! pagkabibo sa b.day party, pagkalami sa pagkaon PERO WAY LECHON! Yes....I did order a big one..and you know what?.. short after we open the table for Kaonan...didto tanan kalaray sa LECHON ..."in a blink of an eye" the naked LECHON leftover is the head, feet and tail in which my Markus was must fascinated how the guests attacked the poor dead pig. I had observed and therefore I conclude that "LECHON" is a Pilipino symbol of prosperity. So, dear TB friends "enjoy the party and eat alive"  :D

The first time in my life, had eaten "panit sa lechon" when Glen served that in my plate (TB EB 2007). Lami man but that fatty taste needs more alcoholic assistance and tastes more the better.  I like to eat more vegetables and seafoods.

Hi Jun,

This is also my suggestions to open a loan facility from Bank since everyone of us are busy and collection would be impossible, since some of us are stationed abroad. I trust that the good heart of Jun Ayag would put this project into a reality.

Also my sincere thanks to Simplylee and Gelyan who have done the physical efforts to make this possible.

Hence, payment of land would be bulk from bank and since the payment would be swift/instant, we could immediately acquire the land title with the indorsement of Mike to seek for Atty. Alicoy Lim's legal services. Accordingly the next step is to subdivide the land to ourselves. With this, I suggest Jun that you give me the lot number, so I could print the map from the DENR (free of charge). Having the shape of the land, we can then plan roughly the shape of each share. I recommend that Jun will give the map to Yu Surveying beside HNU downtown. I know them personally as his daughter is my classmate since elementary years until college and ever since, thier office is still standing. To me, they are the Ramasola of Surveying.

The above is necessary since most of us are only coming for a short vacation and this is the fastest way. Nobody would want to spend thier vacation just for this land and there are lots of activities you have in mind to fully enjoy your vacation.

Luckily, this good thing came just in the right moment for the Grand EB.

Since Jun is the organizer of the Grand EB and being a banker himself, I recommend that Jun Ayag would be our representative on behalf of Tubag Bohol people.

Further, there are more interested members who inquired. Simplylee informed that there are still vacant lots as follows:
There are a total of 4 sets of Lots available as follows:
1. 40,000sqm@P30/sqm (presently dubbed as 'A' Lot)
2. 40,000sqm@P30/sqm ('B' Lot)
3.  9,000sqm@P30/sqm (Lumine finds interest on this as noticed)
4. 13,000sqm@P50/sqm

Please voice out any suggestions you have in mind. Your suggestion counts and is important for the success of this project.
Sir Macky, just for further informations...unsa man ning 9,000 sq.meter (30 Pesos p.sq mtr)..located adjustcent to the 40,000 sqm.?  is the owner?  who is posted in the photos of corella lot? thanks!

kani ang kalsada!

Thanks for posting and your efforts surveying that offered lot Ms. simplylee and Ms. Gelyan.  It looks very inviting the green nature.   Is there water and electricity connection in this remote area? How much we must have to pay for the right of way?  By the way, which barrio is that lot located?  As observed there are rice paddy in that area and some big coconuts and more wild bushes....i like it too. Was that a lake being taken in the Photo? Sorry but must have to inquire...can't help! tnxs

Bug-at tuod kining akong itlog
Apan wala ko himuang babag sa akong pagtindog
Ania ako karon nanglimbasog
Aron ikahipatik kining balak nga gikan sa dughan
kong nagpangurog

Ang dako ko bang itlog ang hinungdan?
Nga sa mga kababayen-an man ako gina-ayran
Angayan bang basulon ko ang kahitas-an
Tungod sa iyang pagbutang ning dakong itlog
taliwala sa akong bugan

Si kinsa paman ang akong kadangpan
Ni kasumbungan ba ning problemang daw walay katapusan
Hangtud anus-a ang akong pagbangutan
Tungod sa kabug-at ning itlog kong gipapilit
sa akong bugan

Hahay-hahay pangagho ning lalaking kabus
Nga gipahamtangan ning bug-at nga mga pag-antus
Ambot kaha kon unsa-on ko sa pagputos
Kining dakong itlog nga maoy hinungdan sa
hilabihan kong mga pag-atus

Siya ang kauban ko kanunay
Usahay itugway ko sa balay.
Kay naay impotanting bulohaton
Nga iya gayud nga humanon.
Nindot ug maanyag siya
Adlaw ug gabii akong gikasesorya.
Sa panahon nga adunay problema
Among solbarong duha.
Usahay manungay siya kanako.
Kay dili makasabot sa akong sugo.
Hinayhinay akong alam-alaman.
Sa akong pagmahal akong halokan.
Siya ang akong pinakamahal nga kabaw
Nga anaa kanunay sa akong kiliran

simplylee, i think we must have also to buy the right of way otherwise....we will get problem in the future and prices increases too fast especially if there is no solution to reach that second lot (probably a road will be the next project). Just an ex.: someone  bought a portion of lot  which is adjascent to that ground I had acquired, he didn't care to pay that said right of way for sale, now someone owns it and want to sale it 4x times as high as it was offered him 4 yrs ago. he has a big problem coz he thought he will get it free. who is the owner of that said right of way?

Dear Asianfairy,

Nice to hear you are back home safe and sound.  Welcome to Europe!  I feel sorry to tell you that Sweden soccer team lost against the Russian for that fight for semi-final. Last night, the Germany team successfully got the power against the favourite Portuguese. So, you could just imagine what a party in Basel, Switzerland to those winning concerned.

Well, Europe Soccer Championship -this is just secondary....first, I heartily congratulate you for the opening of your business "Villa Tarcela" in Valencia.  I keep always my fingers cross for a continuous success of your newly open establishment.  Be assure that the EB TB Grand group leaded by Mr. Junayag would probably drop there to taste your specialty "PUTO MAYA"- Aya's darling with fresh TUBA.  Ms. Edelweiss will be the first lady who will get the chance to enjoy those "Mestizo waiters" as you recommended.  Anyway, I will be happy to have the chance for the second time around then. I will take my time to visit  Villa Tarcela as soon as we will be there for holidays again.

You had/have enjoyed your short acquaintance with Mari, and Paul as what I did too.  Paul is considered as the luckiest guy in TB to be always centered of those beautiful ladies for model poses either for a coke and for a 3 pcs. of potatoe frites.  I love those shots from the two of you!

Again, welcome back home and enjoy the busy/happy days just devoted for your Family. Stay healthy and as what you are.  Before I forget, PM to Sir Benelynne about the new policy in connection with that 3 mysteries of our Holy Rosary.....it helps and you will be having a good laugh.  He makes you happy! Bayat, sigi pa gani ug agik-ik sa ila, ako gihagbong ko ni Sir. Pabalik-balikon gjod ko niya ug rosaryo.

yours truly with much love,
Bambi

The rain makes the setting more romantic. Thanks for sharing.
It was also  raining too hard in Basel, Switzerland when the German soccer team showed their championship power against the Portuguese favourite team.  At least, we got it and strong enough for the coming semi-final fight.

I met Gloria Arroyo every week in my Macroeconomics 101 class at ADMU when she was still a professor. Naay gamay nga istorya nga nahinumduman ko niya, which was when I was absent twice and another lady was absent by happenstance both times. During our next class, she asked both of us, to our confusion, "How was your date?" Lain baya to akong ka-date adto...

I was on the same Tagbilaran-bound plane once when she was still a senator. I met her two times in Tokyo during her state visits. One time, during the acknowledgment part of her speech at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo, she called my name and mentioned I was her student. Wa pa gyud ko kadungog, gikuhit lang ko sa akong tupad. She acknowledges me here in this photo.

I also met her predecessors Fidel V. Ramos and Joseph Estrada in Tokyo. In this photo during Erap's visit to Tokyo, he still enjoyed a honeymoon with the media, who found his every faux pas very endearingly makamasa. When Loi Estrada suggested lowering the age limit for more entertainers to be able to come to Japan, eyebrows were raised but comments where made hush-hush. Five years later and when Erap was already under house arrest, entertainers were almost completely banned from Japan.

I've met Sen. Aquilino Pimentel on several occasions since he was still a mayor in CDO. I have interviewed Senators Manny Villar, Mar Roxas and Juan Flavier. I have talked with Franklin Drilon.

In the giddy days of Japan's bubble economy, movie stars were dime a dozen in Tokyo. Some of them have even performed at my place, which has a small open space. There was some fuss when Claudine Barretto's manager booked her at the same time at my place and at another at the far end of Japan. I was fuming mad because people were already expecting her. She apologized to me and made up for it by making a free appearance the next day, collecting only tips clipped in chopsticks from the audience. Despite the uproar that she caused because of her messed-up schedule, she more than made up for it by her sweetness and kindness.

I interviewed Kuh Ledesma when she was invited to Tokyo by NHK in a special Earth Day program. She engaged me in a heavy discussion about the US bases, which were then in the process of pulling out of the country. She had perhaps read my column in the paper given to her earlier, and presumed I was not interested in showbiz buzz.

Joyce Gimenez sat next to me, in total silence, at my cramped office as she waited for her number to be called outside. When my daughter came in, ice was broken. Although better known as pantasya ng bayan, she was very shy and almost lacking in confidence. I could sense the pressure on her from trying to live up to such a monicker, especially since there were many Filipina entertainers more voluptuous than her in the audience.

Maria Isabel Lopez used to engage in garments business with my wife Lynne. When an X-rated video which showed her, among others, spread like wildfire in Japan, (and confirmed by my own eyes when photoshop and digital makeover was still Hollywood domain) she went back to Manila.

Priscilla Almeda was the original sex siren of Philippine cinema. She was certainly a goddess to behold when she came here with Matt Ranillo some ten years ago. But when I last interviewed her about two years ago, she has settled for an obscure life and a domestic look. Check out this interview at http://www.philippinestoday.net/index.php?module=article&view=126.

Ariel Rivera, even in the heydey of his fame, struck me as someone not really self-absorbed. He is more impressive in person.

Sam Milby was mobbed when he and Piolo Pascual as well as the Pinoy Dream Academy winners came to Tokyo to launch ABS-CBN's IPTV service TFCko. But at the small victory party to which I was invited afterwards, I saw Sam at one point standing in one corner awkwardly waiting for someone to talk with. A very painfully  shy guy, he was only too happy to excuse himself after the obligatory kodakan and slipped unnoticed outside Roppongi's sleepless streets.

By the way, Tokyo used to be a favorite destination of movie stars who wanted to make quick bucks, especially when their stars were already waning back home. Among those who slipped in and out almost unnoticed were Michael V, Ruffa G before Ylmaz, Osang, Julio Diaz...

WOW!  You are more than as popular  rather than these persons being published. Sorry, I know few of them through media. Sir Benelynne,  you are the most famous person I first virtually meet  and I wish to encounter you personally with my promised Donfelder German wine which I'm drinking tonight in honor of the  Germany soccer team who just won against  Portugal favourite team. We qualified for semi-final and hope to win that Europe Soccer Master which we got that title way back 1996.

Commercials and other business interruptions in TV as the financier to the different channels is a survival pack to all personnel staff concerned. Money has the foreground. I think most of the Pinoys are more interested to watch  funny advertisements  rather than to hear/see some political reports and other TV personalities nga ga-ibog-ibog lang sa ilang kadato.   Wa pa ba sa ato nang "non stop shopping channels"? You can buy everything what we daily needs by way of making a call which is  payable  in credit cards. Business as usual.
